- Fixed connection issue to Bot the Builder servers
- UI performance improvements
So, some of my friends on mc, I haven't seen in forever! And I don't know when they are on, what server they are on, and when they were last on! Something that would make this app so much better, is making it so you could message people! Also if it showed you when your friends were last on, or if they are currently on, would be great! And lastly, it does show you what servers your friends are on, but show what friend is on that server! Sometimes the server is full and I can't tell who it is! It is so stressful not seeing any of my friends, and I'm not the only one with this problem. Please take this into consideration! It would help so much if this was a thing!
I‘ve had this app for 8 or 9 years and have always found it to be a great way to have fun and meet other players on Minecraft. However for about the past year now I‘ve noticed that nobody was ever hosting servers, which I figured was just due to the majority of us who used to use it have grown up, because over the past couple years less and less people have been hosting. I have recently noticed however that when you attempt to host a server you receive and ERROR message. I thought maybe it was just one time thing but I tried multiple times and kept getting the ERROR. I do not know if the Devs still work on this because it is quite old and now Minecraft provides server options unlike how MCPE used to, but if they do then please fix this error. Like I said it is a wonderful app when it works and it is sad to see it die due to an ERROR in hosting.
I remember using this app 10-11 years ago when I was like 12, and playing the MC:PE version while it still had blue roses, though I didn’t know this app had existed yet. Once I had, I installed in skepticism and oh my, my world was opened up and the friends I had made over the months and years through it. It was and absolute life bridge since I didn’t get to go out much and moved a lot. So I never had friends in one spot but this app made me haves friends I could invite through the Game Center or through text if they were trusting enough to share info like # or snap. Now we got discord and the ability to do this through the MC:PE app regardless, I’m glad to see Minecraft evolve since I was a kid. Sad to see this app lose its importance, for awhile, for many. It was everything.
Ive had this app for many MANY years. I forgot how I even found this app, it was a really great app back when people actually used it. I enjoyed it, it let me join random people and see their creations, or i could go on a rampage… it was a great thing, I hated playing alone. So this was very nice for me. I remember when it stopped working for like i Forgot, I remember building massive things for them to get griefed by someone, I remember all the people I met, one of them is a Youtuber now, and he still uploads! (Last time I checked atleast) Ive had this app since i was…. 10? 9? I forgot now. But through the years, Ive really enjoyed this app and it was great. I don't know how good it is now, I checked the app and it looked very dead. But, in my heart, ill always thank the developers of this app. A great way to meet and host servers. It was great fun, and its sad to see it dead.
I downloaded this app thinking it would be just like (did you make blockman multiplayer) the last one that got shut down and I couldn't find a way to host my servers and I did everything it told me double tap home go on minecraft and get on the server but when I get on and wait about 2 min it just says server offline because world wasn't detected for a long time it could be that this app is meant for phones while I'm using iPad 2 but it said it was conpattable (also the world was a bendy rp world) I'm doing everything right is it because no ones joining or am I doing it wrong? Or my internet (I adopt that though) my minecraft does take a while to load but it says server offline when I'm 2 min in the world. Plz help me UPDATE: i figured out how to
I initially contacted customer support via email and never got a response about a Bluetooth question (not even in my junk folder). However, I did get a timely response answering my question once I wrote a review about it. I still think email support could use some work, but otherwise customer support works well. I really do enjoy the app and I now realize that some of the bugs are due to Minecraft making it harder for these 3rd party multiplayer apps to function. I am saddened that the Bluetooth connection feature is gone, but I at least know that the developers are working on it! 👍
This app is a waste of money. I could have spent three dollars on an ice cream or something but i picked to trust this app. First, I couldn’t join other worlds. I thought it was my wifi but when I called & asked everything was online & paid up to date, which means it was the app. Second, they advertise that there are “many” or “lots” of servers but there are like four open during the mornings/afternoons & two at night. I don’t know what there definition of many is but google defines it as “a large number of something” & 4 is not large at all. Third, there’s not much of actual gaming rather than 10-12 year olds fake kissing & some more dumb crap. Lastly, I wasted my money on it & I’m telling you not to. I usually don’t write reviews so trust me on this. Get you a chocolate vanilla swirl ice cream w/ cookie crunch...not this app. I’d really like a refund.
I have used this app for a long while, and yes it has worked just as it would tell you it does. It was a blast and I had so much fun with this app but that was years ago. There are many people still trying to download this app today and unfortunately the developers have abandoned this amazing app and have not worked on it in a long while and this app is broken and you cannot host or join anybodies worlds. I wish they could fix this and we could play this once more.
Since Minecraft is often regarded as one of the best games ever made, it's no surprise that it's inspired a few clones and other titles.
