Address Unity problem.
Mini Golf Challenge is a straightforward, nostalgic take on the mobile golf genre. It avoids the flashy 'power-up' nonsense of modern arcade golfers and instead focuses on a physics-based experience that feels much like a traditional mini-golf course. The control scheme—pulling back on the putter head—is intuitive, though it requires a bit of finesse to master the power levels.
The inclusion of a 'bird's eye view' and 'path view' are helpful additions that make the harder holes on Course 2 (holes 10-18) more manageable. While the graphics are a bit dated compared to high-budget competitors, the gameplay is solid and the automatic scoring works perfectly for casual play. It’s a great, no-frills sports game for when you want a quiet round of golf on your phone without the pressure of online leaderboards or microtransactions.
Intuitive touch-and-push putting controls
Full 18-hole course experience
Bird's-eye and path-view assists
Automatic score tracking
Practice-focused 'Free Play' mode
Always use the 'Path Button' before taking a long shot. It shows the trajectory from your ball to the cup, allowing you to adjust your angle using the curved arrow buttons. Small pushes are key for short putts to avoid overshooting the hole.
You can choose to play Course 1 (holes 1-9) for a shorter session, or take on the Full Course (1-18) for a complete challenge. 'Free Play' mode is ideal for mastering specific, difficult holes without the pressure of a scorecard.
The power is determined by how far you pull back the putter head and how fast you push it forward toward the ball.
Oh boy, where do I start? This game has to have some of the most wonkiest controls on the planet. There is no way to set your power for the stroke. There is no way to see the timed obstacles such as windmills, so you know when to take your shot. Sometimes I wish I was on android so I can immediately get a refund for trash apps like this. Hope you are listening Tim Cook. Quit letting trash developers like this through the door to rip off Apple customers!
