UI Improvements
Mills, also known as Nine Men's Morris, is a digital revival of one of the oldest board games in history. This specific version stands out for its clean, distraction-free interface. For those unfamiliar, the game is a battle of positioning—trying to form 'mills' (three pieces in a row) to remove your opponent's checkers. It’s often described as a more complex version of Tic-Tac-Toe crossed with Checkers.
The AI in this app is surprisingly formidable, offering several difficulty levels that will challenge even veteran players. What I appreciate most is the online multiplayer; the matchmaking is quick, and the turn timers are well-balanced to keep the game moving. It doesn't need flashy 3D graphics to succeed; its strength lies in its mathematical purity and the satisfying 'snap' of the pieces hitting the board.

Detailed rule guide for beginners
Once a player is reduced to only three pieces, they enter the 'flying' phase, allowing them to move a piece to any vacant spot on the board. Use this mobility to block your opponent's final mills.
Try to create a 'double mill' where moving one piece completes one mill and sets up another. This allows you to remove an opponent's piece on every single turn.
Yes, you can play with a friend on the same device in 'Pass and Play' mode.
I like this game and have tried 3 different apps before this one. They were all ridiculously easy. This one is better — could still use one higher difficulty level — but every few games when you click the X to get the ad off the screen, the whole screen goes black and nothing works. Fix that, and I will bump higher.
This is one game that does not lend itself to an easy solution. There are strategies but you have to think about every game. I lose more than I win, humbling.
It’s impossible to not accidentally accept games and it’s always the high bets. Even offline invites pop up and the accept button is right where the play offline/create a game button is making it difficult to avoid. When I asked about this, I was told it was being fixed, but nothing has changed. Other than that it’s great, but this issue makes me want to find a different game.
The way the app is made is so that after at least two matches you have to either buy in game money, Play against bots at least 10 times, or watch ads how do expect a beginner to be able to win enough to play more than 2 matches before shoving in app purchases in your face and telling you to watch ads only to put up against people with over 30 points of elo ahead of you? The “skill” based matched making is terrible just like the game. DO NOT BUY THIS APP.
Tried several of the mill games. After each game, another type of game would appear. Trying to get back to Nine Men Morris was annoying & wasn’t always able to succeed (which happed with this app). The app is quick & challenging.
It is the best game I have bought. Although I have lost everyone online.
The game doesn’t follow proper rules… once a player moves from one spot from 3 on a row you can’t move the piece back to that position.. also on hard level creates impossible logic to where the player has to end the game!!! Read the rules and fix the bugs
I just recently learned about this game and I tried to learn more on how to play on this app and I have to watch a long ad for every single game I play. It’s extremely frustrating, I’m playing against a bot, I shouldn’t have to watch an ad for every game.
