I get cheated out of my points. So you pretty much have to watch ads. Most of the time the ads go away with a few prompts from the player. If you win the group challenges you get two cats to use during play. If you watch the ad you are supposed to get four cats. This does not always happen. I just watched an ad to 2x my winnings from 2 to 4 and this doubling did not happen. I’ve used feedback to complain but there is no response on their end. This has happened a lot. I bet easily 5 to 6 times out of my 25 high scores. It’s not a big deal, except those cats go fast. I earned the cats, I watched the friggen ad for the time needed. It’s two lousy cats that you don’t give me. I bet you owe me about 10 cats by now. Just double my cats!! Other than that it’s a fun game. The commercials are better at leaving when prompted. For a while and still sometimes the commercials don’t actually leave when prompted. Sometimes you have to push three different icons to get the ads to move on so you can play. That’s actually a strategy for getting a higher score— figuring out how to remove ads faster to get to the next game. No joke, sometimes your trying to get points and figuring out how to speed along an ad is much of the game just so you can start a new game or receive a cat. Theres a lot of ways to strategize to play this game faster. Moving through ads is one of them.

Love this app, but a few things

(If a developer sees this I would appreciate if you read it all) I wanna start by saying I think this game is really fun. I've gotten more into puzzles recently, and I absolutely love this game. I feel like the hints they give could be a bit more descriptive but that's about it for the game standpoint. HOWEVER, I do have a few issues. The first one is the ads. When I saw ads for this game, all the ads were advertising that this app has no ads. I downloaded it to find out and it was actually true.... for about a week. After playing the game for a while, they started pushing ads on the app. Literally after every level. It would have been alright if they at least didn't lie. The next issue is a big one, and I think the devs really need to see this. So if you're a dev please read this because it's important. I would have marked this as 4 stars until today when I actually got a scam as an ad. Like an actual virus. I'm not stupid, so I didn't fall for it, but the ad put a flashing message button on the bottom of the screen and made it look like it was part of the game and it wouldn't stop flashing. Upon tapping on it, it opened up a tab in safari and ending up being one of those scams where they say that a virus has been detected on your phone with a 2 minute timer for urgency and tells you to remove the virus by downloading something. If you download it, you'll get an actual virus on your phone which can corrupt and steal all your information. For the developers. Please. It is your responsibility to make sure that you don't promote viruses as ads. I'm assuming children play your game and they will easily fall for that.

Addicting but Ads ruin it.

I have never rated an app before, but the ads on this app frustrated me to the point of leaving a review. The game itself is addicting. It’s fun, cute, and actually becomes pretty challenging as you get deeper into it. I genuinely enjoy playing it, which makes this even more disappointing. I don’t mind watching ads to support a free game—that’s expected. But these ads are excessive. They go on forever, and even after clicking “Skip” or the “X,” they often continue through multiple screens before you can actually close them. It starts to feel less like supporting a free game and more like fighting the ad just to get back to playing. I even tried contacting support, hoping to give feedback directly, but that was another frustrating experience. The chatbot asked whether its suggested articles solved my issue. I selected “No, I need to talk to someone,” and it immediately responded with, “We’re glad the information was helpful. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime!” There was no way to actually speak with someone, so the support chat felt completely pointless. This could easily be a 5-star game because the gameplay is genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the excessive, difficult-to-close ads and the lack of real customer support take away from what would otherwise be an excellent experience. I hope the developers reconsider the ad experience and improve their support system, because this game deserves better.

The game has already changed

I’ve only had this game for a few weeks and the developers have already decided to completely change the game. There is no longer an undo button for when you accidentally misclick and can’t remember what the board was like before. There is also no longer an option to draft or practice the moves you’re gonna make before you do them, so that all has to be done in your own head now. It helped immensely to be able to visualize it. The developers removed these options to make you opt to watch an ad for a hint or cat placement. In my opinion, very scummy considering there are already tons of ads. You get an ad when you restart and every time finish a level. These are not skippable ads and I end up closing out the game just to avoid being forced to watch an ad that I didn’t agree to and am not getting any kind of reward for. Seems the devs realized the game was gaining popularity and decided to make more money off it, but sacrificed gameplay and the overall experience of the game. Not to mention, you eventually run out of unique puzzles and they become repeats which is just boring to play over and over. Bring back the things that made the game more enjoyable earlier on and introduce more unique levels!

Promising game destroyed by ads..

This game is genuinely a lot of fun, and I understand the need to include ads in the game to make revenue, but this is just ridiculous. Ads will play after every level you complete, and they’re not the typical 10-20 second ads you can exit out of. Instead, you get ads that require MINUTES of interacting/playing/hitting various buttons in a desperate attempt to rid of the godawful thing, until you finally get frustrated enough to just close the app out completely and restart. The company has attempted to address the issue by encouraging players to screenshot any ads that are requiring excessive interaction, though when going to the chat and attempting to submit them, you receive an auto-populated message that sends you a link to their FAQ about how to deal with ads. The kicker? When you are asked if that helped, or if you need a representative, it doesn’t matter which button you click, the message will stay the same. When clicking, “No, I need to talk to someone.” I got a message back saying, “we’re glad the information was helpful. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime!” I then sent the screenshot and message about the ad with absolutely no response, meaning their attempt to alleviate the situation is simply a giant waste of time, and the developers actually have no intention of stopping long ads. So disappointing, do better developers.

Great Game… Surprise Ads will Shock You

I loved this game. Played it to level 152. Sure there are ads in between matches, that’s fine. The app-owner has to profit. There is an ad banner at the bottom of the screen during gameplay. Also fine. However, today about level 148 it did something it has never done before. During gameplay a surprise full-screen video ad popped up. I have a heart condition. I was so focused on thinking through the game that when that video suddenly popped up I had a palpitation. From that point on, every game, 2 or 3 times a game, a video would randomly pop up full screen and start playing while I was in the middle of gameplay. In a game of focus and logic, that is beyond dumb. I have now uninstalled. I will not tolerate that type of ad behavior. UPDATE: Reinstalled. Still cannot give more stars because after playing awhile (a few dozen games) it always goes back to expanding ads from the banner in the bottom. When I delete and reinstall the app it seems to reset the timer, so that is what I periodically do. If this app would never give you a surprise fullscreen ad as the banner expands while you are deep in concentration I would give it 5 stars. Even with the normal bumper ads between the games. But as long as it remains a game of intense concentration with an ad system that does not respect that it will continue to be a 1 star app. FIX YOUR APP PLEASE.

Fun but terrible!!

The game is fun. The ads are terrible. I don’t understand why this is the model. Ads are scamming, some of the ads are perverted, really creepy adult orientated games put on a fun little cat logic puzzle game. Then there are ones that try to scare you into thinking your phone is full of viruses and it makes sense because the game acts like a virus. They remind me of old pop-up ads from 25 years ago. I would never give money or buy any of these products advertised in this way. Eventually, the sound quit working probably because of all the scam ads I don’t know really. But it wasn’t as much fun without any sound. Seems like there could be a better model making money selling games that are cool than selling awful. Terrible ads I had to break away delete the app and good riddance unfortunately. Ps i have read through the other reviews and some of the developer responses and I don’t trust these liars. They act like they don’t know they have perverted ads on a game rated 4+. And worse they act like they don’t know they have scare based ads that pop up during game play disguised as a message. They act like it is the players responsibility to screen shot it like it is a big surprise to them. Those types of ads should be illegal and the developers should be responsible. Either way they know and they lie in my opinion

Could be fun but impossible

The premise of the game is interesting… But at some point you have such big boards with only so many colors so… You’ll get like the first two cats because there’s no other option because those colors only have like one square… But once you cross out the ones that they can’t be you still end up with like 12 different options of where the next cat could be in like each color. And you only have three times you can mess up… So it’s not like about skill where if you figure out the logic, you can understand where the cats should be and get a perfect score… That’s essentially impossible once you get past like the eighth level or 10th level… at some point you’re just kind of like guessing squares because there’s no other way to figure out where the cat should be. Basically, these aren’t puzzles. The first few levels, sure. But once they make the boards big enough and only have like six colors on the board, it’s just a guessing game.. and then you run out of lives and then it asked you to watch an ad to get more lives and yeah, that’s all it is. It’s just ad revenue. I get that ads are necessary for games to be free, but the free game itself should actually have a component of like requiring skill or logic and not just being like a guessing game. I really like the game until this point.
