We've fixed a few pesky launch day bugs, including:
* Fix for the game crashing at launch when playing in German.
* Fix for the game soft-locking at other times, particularly on the main menu.
* Fix for the Fling the Food game sometimes getting soft-locked.
* Fix for coins being able to bounce out of the Pachinko machine, resulting in the minigame never finishing.
* Fix for receiving multiple letter from the same couple.

In Matchmaker Makeover, you run the city's most popular dating and styling agency. Solve match-3 puzzles to earn rewards, which you can use to give your clients a complete head-to-toe makeover. Once they look their best, choose their best conversation starters to ensure their date is a success!

Matchmaker Makeover is a very competent entry in the crowded 'makeover plus match-3' genre. It differentiates itself slightly with the dating agency theme—having to choose the right conversation starters for your clients adds a nice layer of narrative consequence to the usual styling gameplay. The puzzles are standard fare, but they're polished and the power-ups feel satisfying to deploy.
The fashion options are surprisingly deep, and I appreciated that the game actually pays attention to client personalities. Styling a sporty client in a formal gown actually results in a 'worse' date outcome, which encourages you to pay attention to the dialogue. It's a bit heavy on the microtransactions (when it was active), but for fans of the genre, it provided a lot of content and some genuinely sweet romantic subplots.

Thu Feb 12 2026 mmmildewi am ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY IMPRESSED WITH THIS RENDITION OF KITTY POWERS MATCHMAKER! Time and time again I come running back into kitty’s arms. The gameplay loop is fun and engaging, the dialogue is funny! and More HIP! Some outdated stuff was taken care of and the game is somehow even more inclusive than before! Huzzah! Hashtag loving it so far. Thank you Kitty for all you do…. Meow…. kittyling out! toodles!

Fri Feb 13 2026 Lucky Love 🍀Would like to see more feminine and masc looking characters flat out, I do love the non binary and mix between but they all sort of look the same? I do love the matchmaker previous game’s art style and STYLE in general, currently always playing the other one. Very much very ahead of its time (even for the fact it’s from 2013) — almost timeless and stylish as hell! But for this new makeover, I would love to see some adjustments for character customization a bit. Maybe the body as well because it needs some umph— I do like the body size options, but the arms looks muscular too ? More fem, a bit of flamboyancy. I’m a girl and my character looks like a guy a bit.

Thu Feb 26 2026 elvvaraaas someone who has grew up watching ihascupquake play both the og game and this game, i can say this is my dream game. ever since the first game came out i have been wanting to play both of them. this game runs smoother and the animations are wayyy better ! i love how you can customize your matchmaker salon and the new non-binary gender gives inclusive. i love the new clothes and accessories you can now put in your character and shown on other characters. they are super cute!
