Sat Aug 17 2019 WhatTheBuzzI’m usually a big fan of kairosoft games and I always held the details they put in their other games in high regard. However, as soon as I saw the “artist” sprite just teleporting around the screen and standing still without any type of animation, it sort of.. had me in a bit of shock. I’m used to kairosoft animating things such as walking, speaking with each other, interacting with objects. It helps me become immersed into the game and it ends up making me want to keep playing even if it were repetitive. I leave three stars because the concept and art is great as always but it’s one of my lower rated kairosoft games and I’d recommend newer players and even veterans to try other ones first such as Pocket Academy.

Sun Sep 22 2024 ap______This game is a total dud. I usually expect a level of simplicity for kairosoft games but this was too simple. There wasn’t a clear goal as to what was important: record sales, $$ collected, popularity. It wasn’t clear what the different labels needed you to change when they rejected your character. But it wasn’t all clear what changed with the different labels anyway. Overall… super boring. Extremely linear with no way to actually affect the simulation. It’s a lot like the video game company simulator but missing all the elements that made it interesting. IMO, the best kairosoft games are the ones that give the user ability to creatively change the simulation like in golf with the courses or the convenience store with combos. Even better if they have a clear but complex system like mall stories.

Thu Dec 28 2017 Voncarp00Have most of Kairosoft games. Huge disappointment with this. No tutorial. You pretty much just sit and watch the screen 3-4 minutes with no interaction. The characters don't even walk. They teleport around the screen. Poor effort. Waste of 5 bucks.
