League Bowling ACA NEOGEO is a flawless port of a cult classic. For those who didn't grow up in the arcades, League Bowling was a 1990 Neo Geo title that stood out because of its vibrant, almost Saturday-morning-cartoon art style. This mobile version preserves every pixel and sound effect of the original, providing a dose of pure 16-bit nostalgia.
The gameplay is arcade-simple: time your power and your spin. It’s much more 'gamey' than modern bowling sims, focusing on flashy animations and exaggerated ball physics. The inclusion of the 'Flash' and 'Strike 90' modes adds great replayability. The SNK team's original charm shines through, from the colorful character reactions to the catchy music. It's a wonderful slice of gaming history that feels surprisingly at home on a touch screen.

In the original arcade version, spin was determined by the joystick. On mobile, tap the left or right side of the ball icon immediately after releasing to add 'hook,' which is essential for consistent strikes.

Where are the voices?
Fri May 19 2023 Das BeardoLeague Bowling is one of my all time favorites. I check the new neogeo release each week in hope of this or Baseball Stars 2. HOWEVER... There's an issue of some kind that has made the audio of all voice content be inaudible on both my iPhone and iPad. Not a complete deal breaker but it's hurting my nostalgia a bit. Please fix. Only other complaint is that, again, all game modes are sharing a single leaderboard. So will never be able to compete unless you are playing Strike 90. Irritating, but at least it saves scores. Not true for the Xbox one version on newer series consoles, so currently this is one of the better ways to play the game.
Where are the voices!?
Tue Oct 01 2024 Sfmrsm575Game plays well but the missing voices are unacceptable. If you could not obtain licensing for the voices it should be noted in the description before purchase. I see this has been an issue all along. Please fix this error, the game lacks appeal without voices.
