This version features adaptive app icons and includes various important fixes and updates.
Kings Corner is a digital version of the popular 'solitaire-style' card game often played with friends. It’s a great 'middle ground' game—more complex than War but easier to learn than Bridge. The goal is to get rid of all your cards by building sequences on the board, but the twist is that you can only start new piles in the corners with Kings.
This app version features solid AI that provides a decent challenge for solo play. The interface is clean and the drag-and-drop mechanics for the cards are smooth. It’s a great digital recreation of a classic 'kitchen table' game that is perfect for killing time or keeping your mind sharp during a commute.
Faithful digital adaptation of the classic card game
Smooth drag-and-drop card controls
Challenging AI opponents with multiple skill levels
Clean, distraction-free interface
Remember that only Kings can be placed in the four corner slots. Once a King is placed, you can build a sequence on top of it. Always check if you can move an entire pile from the side slots into a corner to free up space!
Try to play as many cards as possible in a single turn. Moving piles around the board to reveal face-down cards or free up slots is the key to emptying your hand before the AI does.
You can move an entire pile onto another if the bottom card of the moving pile is one rank lower and a different color than the top card of the destination pile.
We all know that computers can’t actually perform a truly random task, right? Play this enough and you’ll start seeing patterns. Whether it’s the program dumbing down your computerized opponent or stacking your deck to keep your win rate at about 66% or the uncanny odds aces are dealt along with their opposing duces, there’s definitely nothing absolutely random about this game. But it’s still loads of fun. I love the interface too.
I don’t know if it’s only my game because I checked other reviews to see if other players had the same problem. Going through the reviews, I didn’t and see other players having the same problem. My problem is when it’s the computers turn, for example, it went from “red jack” all the way to “black 4”. I was confused. I played a few more times and payed attention and when it was the computers turn it did it again, but with different cards in the wrong order. I love this game and I hope it’s not a glitch on my end. Please fix the problem.
So glad I found this! The design and interface are super neat, everything flows smooth as can be. I’ve tried different types of solitaire games, and this is now my favorite one. It’s enjoyable to play, challenging but not frustrating. Way to go, developers! I also appreciate the fair premium price with no ads or IAP. I highly recommend this game!
I love this card game but I've noticed that it cheats. For example, it sees a red jack of hearts and places a black 10 of spades on the stack. But the next card it places on the same stack is a black 2 of clubs. What!?!?# &?! where were the other descending cards from 10! It was only holding 4 cards at the beginning of the hand! My friends have verified thr game makes these HUGE errors. I have verified this at each game difficulty level. Nope they fix it.
I love this game. It is addictive. I have had it on my phone for several years now, and have always used it on trips. I love this game. When you play with the computer, the computer is a telogen enough to give you a fun game. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to play solitaire. It is excess a bowl with voiceover, too, which makes it special for everyone.
It took a few minutes for me to understand how the game worked. In the past I had Kings Corner on another device and it showed the entire game on the device. This is set up differently! You have to go one at a time which the game size is larger. I love it! This game and the way it's set up Definitely deserves a A+++++=5 Stars
My favorite part of this app besides the clarity of it, is you are able to add a picture to the back of your card deck and that is awesome 👏
Game consistently disconnects through Game Center if the app isn’t always in focus. If my screen shuts off while waiting for it to be my turn, disconnect. Answering a text, disconnect. Unfortunately if it doesn’t stay connected, the functionality I bought it for doesn’t work as intended. The game is fantastically designed otherwise.
