Kingdom Guard: Tower Defense TD is a unique blend of merge mechanics and tactical tower defense. As a commander, you must protect the last dragon egg by merging soldiers of the same level to create more powerful units. Kingdom Guard is an interesting hybrid that takes the 'merge' mechanic and applies it to a Tower Defense setting. It solves the biggest problem with traditional TD games: the slow start. Instead of waiting for coins to build towers, you're constantly merging units to upgrade them, which keeps your hands busy and the gameplay engaging. The transition between the merge phase and the combat phase is seamless.
The hero system adds another layer of strategy. Having a powerful leader unit that you can move around the battlefield is essential for dealing with late-game waves. The visual style is vibrant and high-quality, and the progression system—unlocking new unit types and upgrading your castle—is very rewarding. It’s a great pick for people who find traditional tower defense a bit too passive and want something more active.

Great Game
Wed Mar 23 2022 dozermoeOverall this game is great! It keeps updating so it always pulls me back in. The teamwork side is really fun too. A person can find a group and level up together so it makes it more fun. one negative is that it is a pay to play game but what do you expect these days. you can tell some people go a little overboard but that also makes it fun to a point. The only real drawback is that once a single clan gets to big there is nothing anyone on a server can do you are just getting constantly beat down and it makes the game miserable the only reason I still play is to see the updates and collect daily’s. I’m kind of on my last leg so it has driven me to write a review. If there is any way to get into contact with a dev or someone who can acknowledge the state of my server and maybe someone else’s. There is one clan that rules supreme and that’s fine but when that clan alone is over 1.9 trillion power more than anyone it makes the game seem pointless. The sever wars are pointless because they don’t involve anyone and port anyone who helps. Not to mention consistently being attacked (it’s a war game I get it) but this is overwhelming. And to top it off the most powerful clan has the 2nd most powerful clan as there 2nd accounts with some outliers. I was in a clan that was building to balance the server but then they had their clan switch servers because the #1 clan felt threatened idk how it happened. If anyone reads this is there anyway to balance servers so that people that are not willing to spend thousands can still enjoy your game. I’m not looking for a balance every month but even if it was just a balance once a year and have a 50-75 billion power balance between clans. Anything to make it more playable. well that’s my rant thanks for the game It’s still great just wanted to know.
Extremely disappointed player
Thu Sep 19 2024 extremely disapointed playerKingdom guard is a pay-to-play game where bugs are offered for free in enormous amount. The support is pretty much non existent. They don’t care about their customers at all. The support is only talking nice how they appreciate players loving their game and continuing to support it. They promise that their complicated game mechanism is designed to provide fairness and playability while providing a pleasant experience to all. In reality, the game is constantly crushing and lagging during battles, which cause you to loose an enormous amount of healing scripts and teleports. Their matching mechanism places incompatible opponents in the same battles or wars which provide one side with experience that definitely cannot be called fair. Because of the bugs in their game, you suddenly find yourself in the situation when you realize that you lost a valuable resource in the game or haven’t received the gift that everybody else received and the reply of their support is pretty much “Too bad. We are aware of that bug but cannot do anything for you”. If you looking for a pvp game, I would recommend you not to fall in the trap of their ads which do not depict the true game but keep looking for another game that will provide better support and will not cause you constant frustration. I wouldn’t recommend this game even to an enemy. Save yourself time and money and don’t even download Kingdom Guard
Alliance Challenges and Bugs
Tue Feb 22 2022 Wallace2422The biggest complaint is the bugs. I constantly get kicked off the game. I have been playing for a little over a month, every day it happens more than once. I have to reload and most of the time it is when I start on the world. When I come back after it’s reloaded, I have unclaimed rewards, which is frustrating. I could have used more rewards such as stones or books to be upgraded on something else. Also, after signing in after a few days, it doesn’t recognize on the alliance challenges for the 3 day log in reward. Therefore the alliance points are not added. Someone in the alliance who joined shortly after I did and was auto promoted and able to participate in alliance challenges. When I had changed alliances, I had to wait 7 DAYS to start participating in any of the alliance challenges which was very frustrating. I was also active chatting, saying hello and adding helpful tips that were later deleted. I gained quite a few points on the leaderboard even without the challenges, but I enjoy completing them for more. Overall the game is fun, very fast paced and I really enjoy opening the chests and upgrading my heros. Please fix the bug problem, I may not continue with this game, if this continues.

Thu Jul 20 2023 Rube-DoThe complete disregard of high paying players, the invalidation of their concerns, and the devaluing of money spent on their accounts has rendered this game to be a scam. Original version servers have always be catered to, giving them easy access to resources and not putting a limit on how high they can level up certain aspects of the game. While newer version servers have had a limit to what they can do, and scavenge for the same resources. On top of all that, they decided to let original version servers match up against the newer version servers in cross server platforms, and expect everyone to believe that’s fair. They were practically separate games, just used the same characters and models. They are either oblivious, or they do not care about how absolutely unfair this has made the game. The comparison from what original version accounts have paid for power accumulation, compared to newer version servers pay/power is ridiculous. The math has been done, and presented to them by both original version accounts, and newer version accounts. Original version accounts would have had to pay about 1/3 of what the newer version accounts would have had to pay for certain aspect of their power. Until this issue is resolved (or at least acknowledged), I’m afraid this game is going to go downhill fast.

Sat Sep 10 2022 LavenwinkleThis app is a scam! Not only are the elements all copied from other more popular games, but they also don’t give you your money’s worth. The art is just copied from elsewhere and clearly just barely avoiding copyright lawsuits. The game crashes regularly, about once an hour or more. There is not one time that I’ve logged on when it didn’t crash. Moreover, every element in the game is buggy and doesn’t work properly. The worst is, it doesn’t give you your money’s worth. It is a pay to win game, so the expectation is that you pay hundreds of thousands and can dominate the game. Or pay thousands and get matched evenly so that it comes down to skill and strategy. But that is not the case. They will ask you to spend hundreds of thousands, then screw you over with matching you against opponents with 10x your power. The rules and power balance is different depending on when you started playing and they ignore that difference when making matches. But that’s not even the worst part. You can spend thousands on items, but half the time, the items don’t work properly. Or there will be hidden bugs where items just get used up with no effect whatsoever. So if you pay $100 for healing scrolls, be ready to go into battle to find your scrolls didn’t actually heal your troops. Or spend $50 on teleports but then somehow every time you teleport, you used up 3-4 teleports instead of just one teleport for one time teleported. It is a total scam! Don’t download it. Don’t buy it. Don’t spend any money. It is a waste of time and money and you’ll end up with more frustration and anger than you need in your life.
Initially Fun but developer over greed messed up
Mon Jun 27 2022 bigz iceHere are fun part. All events and everything you do is like competitions so you got motive to compete. Clan challenges, point events. There are alot of unfortunate servers especially my server got extremely low players count. Two months within inter server only within the server. People learn to play and people know the daily grind. Tips and tricks to be more efficent so they got motive. Then everything turn into cross server when players see the power gap differences, to the stage people can never win anything, no even sure people are hacking, spending extreme…so players die out. My server only had like good 30 players daily grind and 50 are chill. As soon as cross server enter, top 15 players literally 12 out of 15 left. So remaining who are very competitive and some remaining play less and less. Eventually feel like server feel like total death. Every update, every feature is marketed toward spender. The over greed of the development is extreme. Ruin a good potential game. I can see developer trying to improve the game thats being said, like I mentioned they aim to make you spend. I am top 3 of my server and spent $1200. I am trying to stay on the game but I got not much player left to play with. I feel stupid wanting to play more, spend alittle and quitting very soon dilemma.
Just don’t, save yourself and find something else.

Don’t bother downloading this game if you don’t have thousands of dollars laying around waiting to be wasted on junks. This game is all about the money now. They keep changing things to try and find ways to rip off their players. You have to fight so hard just to get a 30 day castle, along with PAYING in all other events to get weapons and gadgets. You already have to pay left and right with new events, but with the old event like Ultimate Power, they made it a cross server event to, making it almost impossible win a castle. They took off old in-server events as well like Ultimate Hunting, with is THE ONLY chance for weaker/poorer players to win big. They promised to give the same rewards i. Another event soon but that’s a longggg time ago. Friends become enemies on this game, because they have to fight each other to the end. They are arguments and fighting going on everywhere in my server, about seven people are selling their accounts because they are frustrated, and no one even wants to buy them. Again, if you are not filthy rich, DONT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME, unless you like to have mini Strokes caused by frustration of this game. Just….ughhhh
Bounty hall change: You are killing your own game.

I wasted so many gems trying to get the legendary gem roll in the bounty hall, until my alliance members told me about the terrible change... The legendary gem roll in the bounty hall is the only thing every player rolls from in the bounty hall. Please change it back and perhaps make the gem roll ratio a higher percentage to get in the bounty hall. Myself, my alliance and many other alliances want this change, and a lot of us will leave one star reviews and quit, while some will not play until it gets changed back. You’re hurting your game. This game is already crazy paid to win and now you just destroyed it. Iv spent hundreds of dollars many others thousands upon thousands and this makes EVERYONE want to quit!!! change it back, the games player base is already very low compared to a few months ago and now you will kill it yourself. Because of changes you implemented that none of your player base wanted at all!!! Change it back if you don’t want this to happen. I will also be leaving a 1 star review just like many many others will, because it’s deserved. This game is your cash cow, and you yourself are gonna kill it. WHY?
