King of Crowns is a surprisingly deep 'lane-battler' that mashes together tower defense and card-based strategy. You aren't just placing towers; you're summoning legendary heroes and casting spells to defend your throne in real-time. The tactical depth comes from the 'Counter' system—sending knights to stop archers, or using a fire spell to melt an armored giant. It’s all about resource management and timing.

The art style is fantastic, using a high-contrast 'paper-theatre' look that gives the medieval theme a unique identity. The progression is satisfying, with a huge tree of upgrades for your castle and your army. While the late-game levels can be quite difficult, requiring a lot of trial and error with your deck, the game never feels unfair.
