Kavel is BACK! Better than ever.
-Fully up to date with latest tech.
-Newly integrated GameKit for Leaderboards and Achievements to comply with Apple.
-New languages: French and Korean.
Kavel is a masterclass in puzzle design. It takes elements we’ve all seen before—Tetris shapes and Match-3 logic—and fuses them so seamlessly that you wonder why it hasn't been done this way before. It feels familiar yet completely fresh. The aesthetic is incredibly clean, which is exactly what you want in a game that requires this much concentration.
What I love most is the lack of predatory monetization. You buy the game, and you own the game. There are no timers stopping you from playing or gems to buy. It’s just you and the board. The 'thump' of the blocks and the visual 'pop' of a big score feel amazing. If you’re a fan of games like 'Threes' or 'Mini Metro,' Kavel belongs on your home screen. It’s a deep, rewarding, and stylish puzzle game.
Innovative puzzle mechanics
Beautiful, clean interface
Satisfying haptic feedback
No ads or in-app purchases
Don't just place blocks randomly. Look ahead to the next few pieces and try to build large clusters of the same color. Clearing a large group at once yields a much higher 'Kavel' bonus than clearing small groups multiple times.
Zen mode has no pressure, allowing you to play until the board fills. Casual mode introduces some challenges to keep you on your toes. Greatest mode is a timed sprint where you must score as much as possible in a limited window.
Simply tap the piece before dragging it onto the board to rotate it 90 degrees.
So glad I found this game! It’s just the right kind of challenge, you have to think, but it’s not stressful. And I love that it saves progress so you can go back any time when you have a short break. The design is gorgeous, the play is smooth, and I love the different play options, it can be as zen or as challenging as you want it to be. I also appreciate the fair premium price with no ads or IAP. Also it’s good on battery and storage, and it doesn’t collect data. This developer did it all right, we need more developers like this. Great job developers, thank you for an excellent game that’s super engaging to play! I highly recommend this game!
I love the game, it’s right up my alley but for the life of me I can’t figure out how scoring works other than the more bombs in a single match the more of the board is removed and score is higher. But when I make a match the game shows a brief message about % + PieceShape(s). I ‘think’ the % refers to percent of board that will be removed/cleared by the match but I have no idea what the pieceshape marks refer to... frustrating just because I have no idea what it means and didn’t see anything about it in the tutorial and there is no info on the dev website. Devs pls explain if you can. Thx.
This is the perfect game to pick up when you’ve only got a few minutes to play. It’s relaxing (except for Frenzy, which is intense in a good way), extremely customizable, and fun. It’s really nice to find a matching game without all the in-app purchases that the others have, too.
A lot of fun figuring out the mechanics and what makes it tick — and then using those to get higher and higher scores. I’d love to see something like a daily challenge! That would be a great way to test my skill compared to other players, and would keep me coming back regularly.
This game is fantastic and well worth your time. Tons of customization options and a nice twist on the matching game genre. Familiar yet fresh! If I’m in the mood for color-matching, combo-building, score-chasing goodness this is my first and final stop.
I really like the game but it doesn’t seem to keep my previous scores so I don’t know what I’m going against. Update: looks like I had a Game Center issue. Works good now.
I love this game but I can’t see my high scores. I click on leaderboard and achievements but the links don’t work. Please fix! Thanks!
2 needs: 1, have a page that shows the “secret” plays you can make when you discover them, and a list of what is left undiscovered. 2, implement slide-over for iPad: this is exactly a game I want to multitask with! (QoL #3) for those of us who don’t want to sign into a global score ...thing- perhaps a local best score list?
