Survival City takes the tower defense genre and adds a compelling survival layer that makes every decision feel heavy. The tension of watching the sun go down as you realize your defenses aren't quite ready is palpable. It’s a great mix of 'preparation' and 'action.'
The robot designs are varied, requiring you to constantly adapt your turret placement. I also enjoyed the personality of the survivors; they aren't just faceless units, which makes it hurt more when you lose one in a late-night raid. The progression is steady, and the 'one more night' loop is incredibly effective. A solid pick for strategy fans.
Dynamic day/night cycle
Deep base-building mechanics
Dozens of unique robot types
Upgradeable hero roster
Prioritize wood and scrap in the early game. Without a solid wall and basic turrets, your survivors won't last past the third night. Always keep one hero back to guard the base.
Each survivor has unique skills. Position your long-range snipers on towers and keep your brawlers near the gates to soak up damage.
