Why Oh Why have you changed everything!?! I have been using this app for so many years I’m not sure when I started. You have been a 5 star app from the beginning for me. I’m giving 4 stars now just because I have loved the app in the past and in the hope that you will get rid of the redesign and tray format that recently showed up. If I gave you a grade just on the redesign alone it would be 1 star. My biggest beef is this - if I send all pieces to the puzzle and then scatter them, many of them are off screen and I have to spend time retrieving and rearranging them in the unlocked position to make sure they can be found when needed for placement. It’s infuriating because it was great the way it was and I can’t see why it was changed to begin with. I’m recalling another time when you tried to create an option for people to create trays for sorting pieces. I’m guessing that was a bust, too, because it soon disappeared. Obviously, I wasn’t the only person who hated that change as well. I hope my voice added to others will help you right the ship. You’re going in the wrong direction. If not, I’ll look at other options but that is pretty sad because I think you have been the best puzzle app for many years.
This app provides a lot of fun and is definitely my favorite. I grew up putting together jigsaw puzzles and continued to do them until very recently. Once I started with this app, I have pretty much stopped using the tabletop puzzles. It comes with several free packs of puzzles. There are many more packs on a variety of topics available for purchase. It’s also easy to accumulate points to earn packs if you don’t want to purchase any. You can choose the degree of difficulty by changing the number of pieces you select the picture to be divided into. The more pieces, the smaller they are and the more time it will take to put the puzzle together. I use 12x12. My husband uses at least twice as many pieces. My sister has vision difficulties and uses 8x8. Young kids use fewer pieces. Being able to use your own pictures as puzzles is a very nice feature. We all have pictures of our own that are great choices. The choice of background colors is helpful as you change puzzles. I find one recent change to be slightly annoying. The last update brings up an opening screen that you must click on to move to the first operational screen. And it would be great if a family could share puzzle packs. We have found that it’s a fun and addictive app for all ages.
I agree with SalStrange review and the other review regarding poor choice for spending coins you accumulate with each completed puzzle. Too much spam, too many windows to get back to your puzzle screen, and the worst yet? Now there are these FORCED game type challenges that do not allow you to close it unless you play. I purchased ad-free and hav loved this game for years. I do buy alot of new puzzle packs; I play this game every day to decompress. So it really takes away the fun to be force fed spam in the game. Keep it in there for those who like that type of thing, but for the rest of us, give us a way to opt out of all of it in the PAID version and just let us enjoy the game. I started searching for a new game tonight, but I really hope the developers listen. I only have three games, this one, a card game, and a slide game I have had since 2010. I use them to decompress, and sometimes play room type games like the old Myst game. One final note, oddly, this game no longer shows up in my Apps list in settings, nor in App store under updates (I dread the updates because its always more SPAM, MORE SPAM, MORE SPAM. What a wonderful almost real jigsaw experience ruined because you can't turn off the developer spam.
I have a total of 147,226 credits to use for purchasing puzzles! I purchased my credits in order to purchase my choice of puzzles. Over the years, I have purchased a huge amount of puzzles using my credits. Now, the puzzles that you have chosen to allow the use of the coin credit option, I have already purchased. How long do you think it will take me to use up my remaining credits...or will I just end up losing them? I am very disappointed in your changes!! This is no way to treat your loyal customers!!! Why can’t I purchase ALL PUZZLES with my purchased coins? You already have my money tied up in my purchased coins (LOTS OF MY MONEY! ) Apparently money that you are now holding hostage unless I use more money to purchase ONLY THE PUZZLES YOU SAY THAT I CAN PURCHASE WITHOUT HAVING TO GIVE YOU MORE OF MY MONEY! This is a deceptive action on your part! The old “BAIT AND SWITCH” con game...encourage me to purchase your coins, then not allow me to purchase the puzzles that I want. You think that you are making you program better than it was? All you are doing is importing glitches into the former program and alienating all your loyal customers that unknowingly purchased your “COINS” that are now virtually useless!
This was a nice puzzle app that has been made much less enjoyable by a constant increase in obnoxious spam ads even in the paid version. I already accepted that every puzzle pack is basically just a vague collection of copyright free images with maybe one or two good images per pack because I could always upload my own if I didn’t find anything new I liked. But now every puzzle is obnoxiously sandwiched between useless “games” of “chance” and pushy nagging to buy even more puzzle packs. They’re so determined to be obnoxious, in fact, that they make you wait to close out the ads by adding a delay before they fade in the close symbol to exit the ads. I have bought several packs up to now, but the more obnoxious and intrusive this gets, the less I want to give you another dime. Let us turn off these stupid spam games and pushy ads. Those who are going to use the app for free offerings aren’t going to suddenly spend more because you annoy them to death and you are alienating other people like me who are happy to toss a couple bucks for new images until your greedy nagging turns us off. I’m not buying another pack until you let us turn off the harassment you’ve implemented.
I DO NOT LIKE the pop ups that we now receive. I paid for this game and should not be receiving pop ups!!! I pay for games to eliminate these very annoying interruptions. I just played the new collect a pin challenge. It was nice to receive extra points along the way. On several occasions it said I won a puzzle but when I tried to claim it but it would not give it to me nor was it in my free puzzles. Then at the very end after collecting the 20 pins, it said I won the “beautiful places” puzzle pack. It loaded the pack under my free puzzle packs but when I open it there are no puzzles!!! This game has really gone downhill!!!! I would not recommend it to anyone!! When you pay for a game you should not receive all this pop up garbage!! You should put time and effort in fixing all the bugs with your giveaways vs. all the stupid pop ups!! And by the way some of the, don’t work right either. The game freezes and you have shut down your device to get out of them. I’m sure you’ll focus on getting that fixed right away vs. the other things I mentioned above. If you can’t tell I’m a really annoyed customer and would like my money back that I paid to upgrade.
Had problems for past few weeks with the app dropping my completed puzzles and not allowing custom uploads. After my bad review last week, the creators contacted me wanting to fix my problem so I could change my review. Their solution was that I should delete my app and reload with a web address they provided. They also warned that I could lose my purchases but gave me instructions to reload them. Sounds good—right? I followed their instructions. They had sent them in chat on the app. I had enough foresight to know that I needed to screenshot the address. I followed their instructions. Sure enough had to get new address from my screenshot. When it reloaded, no purchases, no points, and no chat! I followed the reload instructions many times. ABOUT A DOZEN PURCHASED PACKS AND 4000 POINTS ARE GONE!! That’s about $50 in puzzles down the drain. Now, to top that off, I have a $3.99 charge in my account for the Pro App I reloaded!! Bottom line— DON’T EVER BUG MORE TGAN A COUPLE PUZZLE PACKS AT A TIME! YOU MAY LOSE YOUR MONEY! I’ll keep playing for now, but I’m looking for another puzzle option. These guys need to find better r&d and technical support staff!! Very disappointed after a good 5 yers of puzzling!!
We love Jigsaw Puzzle Pro and play it daily. We are extremely unhappy with the most recent update, and want to request that this update be rolled back. We have the app on 2 devices: an iPad Air and an older iPad 2. Prior to this update, the app was working pretty well on both devices; initialization and response were slower on the iPad 2, but that is to be expected. The update has had a much worse effect on the iPad 2: after the update, we cannot use the app at all. It starts and is extremely slow in painting screens. The (IMO stupid and unnecessary) transition screen (tap to open) takes literally minutes to respond and may kick me out. But it always crashes and kicks me out when I try to play the daily puzzle. We shut down and restarted the device -- no change. Still crashes and is unusable. You've done a fair number of updates recently. We appreciate your responsiveness but it seems that your regression testing is inadequate. If an update is unsuited to an older device, you need to make that crystal clear. We're disappointed and dissatisfied. Please address these issues as soon as possible.
