Fixed issues with connecting to shared maps
Isle of Tune is less of a 'game' and more of a musical playground that happens to be a city builder. The concept is pure genius: every item you place—trees, houses, streetlights—represents a musical note or a drum beat. You build a road, and as your little cars drive past these items, they trigger the sounds. It turns the act of urban planning into music composition. It’s incredibly intuitive and rewards experimentation in a way that few other apps do.
The visual style is adorable and clean, making it easy to distinguish between different 'instruments.' The true magic happens when you realize you can share your islands with the world. Hearing what other people have created—from original symphonies to recreations of famous pop songs—is genuinely inspiring. It’s a brilliant way to introduce children (and adults) to the concepts of loops, rhythm, and melody without the intimidating interface of a professional music app. It is a one-of-a-kind experience.
Unique music-creation mechanics
Share and explore community islands
Intuitive drag-and-drop building
Vibrant, kid-friendly art style
Build a circular road and place items along the edge. As the car completes the circuit, your melody will loop indefinitely. Use different colored houses to represent different notes in the scale.
Drag items from the menu onto your island. Each item has a different sound profile; lamps are percussive, while different trees and houses provide melodic tones.
Yes, you can save several different island projects to your device and switch between them at any time.
Been playing the game since I was a wee lass on computer, then when I got my first iPad I spent no hesitation going wild with this thing. Jumping on the bandwagon that was recreating songs in this silly soundfont. Despite the many, many glitches of the iOS version still plaguing it to this day, I still come back to it to recreate whatever song I heard in my head. From Sonic Levels to Rhythm Heaven, to pop tunes to just random songs from bands I like, I would try my best to remake it. And re-listen to them and other remakes by the people around the world again and again. What pushed me into writing this was seeing that the Island Browser stopped loading again, just when I was about to upload a silly remake of a Pizza Tower song I like. It made me realize this app may be coming to the end of its lifespan, as it’s become a reoccurring issue. If that’s the case I wanted to mention all the wonder and magic this little game has brought throughout my life. Thank y’all for all the melodies made and shared! You deserved the Five Stars long enough. I hope I can keep making tune until the app’s very end! 💟
If you love 8-bit sounding music (like that from old school games, but with an updated sound. I guess that is the best way to describe it. It monochromatic sound? Like the old school cellphone ringtones. It's like a new updated creative version of that super Nintendo Mario music game. You create Sounds that turn into music, there are awesome creations on there. Like Micheal Jackson's beat it, the super Mario theme song, Katy Perry's firework, scooby doo, and many more. Of course without lyrics, just the instrumental sound. It does take a lot of effort/creativity to make a good island, but if you like to be creative, and make sound/instrumental bit/retro style music. This app is for you. I believe Google Chrome (on your PC/MAC) has a version of this you can try online (free) go check it out if you have a computer. Rated 5 stars because it is well put together, good graphics, and I'm sure if it was my type of game, I'd like it.
Best musical app ever! Only thing I wish for is mabey a mini game or something then it would be perfect but those are hard to make. Love it! Would also like the keys in keyboard mode to be labeled for the more musically challenged (like myself) And let me just say thank you for making the most perfect game ever and I love the graphics not to flashy and not pixelated just perfect :D
This isn't a normal game you find on the iPad. It's very fun and eye grabbing. I gave this app 5 stars because it's worth the money and new of its kind. It's very fun to check out other players islands of songs like wake me up and call me maybe
Great game with so many sound effects. I must get it. Educational. Sno pro is an artist on this game so if u get it, check out his awesome songs and like them. Also known as jetty boy. Good luck. U will love it GARUNTEED. Oh and I've made 200 islands for now.:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)::):):
I love this game! It's super cute and I love making music so I enjoy playing it. Jagged my brother the game and now he loves it too so we share our songs and like each others islands and stuff!
When you share or browse islands, the game spools and never stops! you have to close the app to make it stop spooling………… Great game though!
Don't get me wrong, the game is really cute, but it needs to be worth paying money for it. It's super fun if you're into music. After awhile, the game becomes monotonous, repetitive, and boring as there's only a few things to do during the game. Would be more exciting and worth paying money for if the game was more interactive and had more activities to do.
