Performance improvements and bug fixes.
Into the Dead 2 is an absolute masterclass in atmosphere and mobile action. Unlike the first game, which was a pure endless runner, the sequel introduces a compelling story mode. You play as James, trying to reach his family during the zombie apocalypse, and the voice acting and cinematic moments really pull you in. Each stage feels like a desperate dash through a horror movie.
The gunplay is punchy and satisfying, and the variety of weapons is staggering. From crossbows to high-caliber rifles, every tool feels different. The addition of canine companions who help you take down zombies is a brilliant touch. It’s one of those rare mobile games that feels like a 'console-quality' experience, with high-end graphics and a gameplay loop that never feels like it's just trying to waste your time. It’s easily one of the best zombie games on any platform.
Engaging story with multiple endings
Powerful weapon and ammo perks
Loyal dog companions to aid in combat
Daily and special event missions
Never fire at a single zombie if you can dodge it. Ammo is extremely scarce; save your shells for when you are cornered or facing a cluster of 'armored' zombies.
The character moves forward automatically. The player controls left/right movement and firing. Timing reloads during clear stretches is essential to staying alive.
Yes, unlike the first game, Into the Dead 2 features a full narrative campaign with voice acting and cinematic cutscenes.
First of all I’d like to commend the game on the fact that it’s almost perfect, you get new weapons at a decent rate, and he story is just amazing. It deos a good job of not keeping a lot of content behind paywalls and said content gets updated every day giving you fresh, endless zombie carnage. Just some complaints, for one some daily challenges are unfairly hard, specifically looking at the one with the semi auto shotgun and the one with the piercing sniper. In the semi auto shotgun challenge the kill count is too high and bullets are to scarce, now I understand the weapon is op but ammo is too hard to come by and one can’t force a quick reload as every billet counts so when you are faced with a giant horde, it’s up to how full your clip is and due to obstacles everywhere the scarce ammo crates can sometimes be missed having your run through the level without means to defend yourself, the game wants you to manage supplies but it’s too much, too hard and unnecessarily long requiring too many kills, so it’s a little unbalanced. No glitches at all just very once or twice I’d clip out of the map but no game breaking issue, I commend the devs for probably one of the best mobile games I’ve ever seen.
Hi to to whoever is reading this my name is Patrick and I would like to say thank you for creating, etc. wonderful game, but I would like to add a few tips to it such as a body counter And an achievement tracker. Or something similar for the stars in each level Maybe a kill cam for when you do something awesome or legendary. Next, I would like a decrease in the price to the weapons. Your weapons are way too expensive $20-$30 for virtual guns I’m never going to use in real life. That’s way too expensive for something. I’m paying digital for on a game that for all attempts of purposes is probably gonna come out with a sequel in a few years or who knows a few months. I just don’t see why I should spend $30 on a gun that isn’t existing in real life and I don’t get to play with with my own hands and is only virtual a gun should only be virtual price two dollars maybe four or five dollars at the most and then if you wanna include a bundle of stuff, maybe $10 at the most nowhere near $30 is that acceptable we are in a economical crash economy is going nuts? Sorry for the run-on sentences and the novel i just wrote I used to speak to write to do this. Have a good day. PS I am autistic so some thing you don’t make sense in some sentences it’s because I’m speaking to write this. Please write me back so I know what you decided to do about my request and if they are good ideas to add to your game also, if you could tell me if is coming around the corner, that would be great too. Sincerely, yours, Mr. Patrick
Honestly i love it, this game is great love almost everything, i think that it holds true to the into the dead franchise and is a great successor to the first game, but honestly i have some issues, they are quite annoying and i dud hope you fix them so the first issue i have is graphics... dont get me wrong they are amazing graphics but my issue is i have an i phone 7+ one of the latest iphones and my phone legitimately can only do medium graphics without lagging like hell, i find this weird since i have such a good phone, ny other issue is in game when there is a strafing zombie coming towards you, you see them clearly to your left or right and think you csn get by but surprise surprise its almost like they teleport from your left/right vision in front of your face to eat u i have died many times due to this and the hitbox for when stationary zombies come in contact with you is wayyyy easier to navigate and more like the first game so basically fix the hitbox for when strafing zombies come in contact with your player, and my last issue is energy... now i know your just trying to keep people playing longer and to buy gold from the in app purchase but seriously 1 energy every 30 mins thats downright bs, considering how many attempts it takes to get 5 stars in a level i find this incredibly annoying like please fix this its going overboard, im fine with energy, like lets say when your on the game you regen 1 energy every 2 mins but when your off the game your energy regen rate goes to 1 per 15 mins. Anyway those are my issues please fix, thanks
So I finished into the dead 2 but only for the first ending that left me speechless… but it’s amazing and love the Side Stories, (It be amazing if they collab with the Walking Dead or something “finished the first 2 seasons”) Also love James and would like a new update that adds the cross like the first Into the Dead did… be more interesting and wondering who died here and there. There is also another great point is that when you run under a bridge but the zombies being stopped by the railings, but on one part a zombie fell on me but before that the zombie was clawing on my more like it fallen on me and got up to do the animation, be really interesting if they add new animation or remake most of it, it’s a Triple A Game on MOBILE… But I love this game and love the Night of the Living Dead Side Storyline, amazing but I wished Alice got farther. The Knives are great but keep in mind to save most of it considering if you are VIP unless you still have a free membership at first hand “Highly Recommended” also from experience just keep grinding till you have a good supply of weapons and Level up your weapons constantly, I’ll make another Review Love the Dev team that made this, I’ll make sure I’ll get all the Endings…
I loved the first game and this is a great new addition don’t get me wrong. Graphics are amazing, similar gameplay is great, but there are big problems. I get it’s a new release and it’s going to be glitchy but it’s really glitchy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been grabbed by a zombie and not one was even close to me. Then having to retry it and have he same thing happen again. Soooo where’s the reload option? So far I’ve had to wait a bullets just to make sure my weapon was fully loaded. Dodging is fun but there’re times you gotta unload a clip to make a hole to get past areas. Not being able to reload is frustrating!!! Isn’t being prepared the basics of any shooter? Hope that gets fixed too. Biggest issue I have...ENERGY. The first game you could retry all you wanted as many times as you wanted. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it now takes 15 min for 1 energy recharge when most levels require more than that. Waited 1/2 hour to 45 min to retry a level...died 15-20 seconds later due to a glitch and had to wait even longer until I had enough energy to try again. 15 min for 1 recharge is a bit ridiculous...especially when you have the option of collecting STARS. This is going to take a really long time to achieve plus of you die you don’t keep the star. Please made some serious changes. Love the game but it needs work.
I won’t lie, this game has it’s flaws. The menus can get glitched out, the gameplay can get repetitive, the micro transactions can feel a bit in your face, and having to upgrade weapons as the zombies get more bulletproof can be a grind. But I keep coming back to this game regardless. Maybe it’s the world building that draws me in. The idea that these hordes of walking corpses are a natural disaster that has passed through James’s hometown before, but now for one reason or another they’re growing more resilient and numerous. Maybe the reason I keep coming back is experiencing the feeling of barely scraping through a massive crowd of grabby claw-like nails, raspy voiced rotting jaws, and bioluminescent eyes that are slowly but surely tearing the state (and perhaps the world) apart, maybe it’s the feeling of plowing through abandoned infrastructure and wrecked cars in the vehicles, listening to the conversations James has over his radio as the stories he finds himself in continue, the idea that nature (or at least the plant life) is thriving to one degree or another despite the undead, the unoriginal (far cry new dawn) yet still interesting concept of a Christian cult building it’s own civilization in the ruins of the old guided by a well meaning yet possibly insane preacher, the fun canon and non canon Side missions, the beautifully crafted backgrounds and distant views, or just the “never gets old” feeling I get from listening to the starting pistol recoil and make a metallic clicking sound every time it’s been fired. If you like zombie games and you don’t have a lot of cash, buy this game. You need to try it at least once.
This game has a refreshing take on the zombie genre, and I love how it stands out from other zombie games similar to it. While this game has a great concept and output, there are a few problems I have with it. Firstly, every time I open a weapon parts box and receive the black assault rifle with the handle on top, ( I don’t know it’s real name) the game freaks out and the screen starts a never ending cycle of flashing the weapon I just earned to fading to black. This starts when I tap done after receiving the weapon, this has happened both times I acquired the weapon, please fix this. I fix this by closing the game completely and re- opening it, but I still don’t get the weapon. The second problem I have with this game is it’s zombies that hide behind cover and then attack you as you run by. Now I understand that this may be a design choice but I just wanted to raise your awareness to this kind of- excuse me for sounding childish- “unfairness”. But, like I said I could be wrong, this could just be a design choice that I find flawed. Either way, I appreciate the time that you took out of your day to read a middle- schooler’s review on your exceptional game and I hope that you continue to improve this game or continue to make great games.🤗
So I just got this game and haven’t made it far into it but I’m not going to just because of the beginning. So far the story’s nice, there’s nothing wrong with that. But I don’t understand how it has so many people getting it and so many good reviews. Let me explain why I don’t like this game… 1. I’m someone who likes to actually play a game. You can’t do anything except move straight and side to side. You don’t get to control where you go. You only go one way and one way only. You can’t turn in any other direction. 2. You only unlock things as you level up or if you search in bags outside the story mode. This game would be so much better if you could pickup guns , survival things , ammo , and other loot from inside houses and from camps or crates that you find. 3. You should be able to run around a map , collecting items and leveling up and choosing when you wanna do story missions or if you just wanna run around gathering items… all this game is , is you running forward and side to side shooting at zombies that are in your way for a couple hundred feet and then you use the walkie talkie and that’s it. I’m more of an action game type person. I like to be in charge of the game and actually play the game. You don’t play this , this controls itself.
