Ice Bot is a minimalist puzzle game that puts your spatial reasoning to the test. You control a small robot on a frictionless ice rink. Once you start moving in a direction, you won't stop until you hit a wall or an obstacle. Using this mechanic, you must navigate through complex layouts, avoiding traps and utilizing switches to reach the exit. With over 100 levels that introduce mechanics like magnets, teleporters, and breakable blocks, Ice Bot is a pure test of logic and planning.

80/100

Ice Bot is a fantastic example of 'simple to learn, difficult to master.' The sliding block puzzle is a classic trope, but this game executes it with such a clean, modern feel that it feels fresh again. The physics are perfectly consistent, which is vital for a game where one wrong move means starting over.

I really appreciate the lack of a timer. It allows you to actually sit and think about the logic of the puzzle rather than panicking. The introduction of new elements is paced perfectly; just when you think you've mastered the movement, a new tile type changes the rules entirely.

The visual design is very 'Apple'—clean lines, high contrast, and no unnecessary clutter. It’s a great brain-teaser for commutes or quiet evenings. If you enjoy games like Quell or Flow, Ice Bot is a worthy addition to your collection.

I loved playing "Empty.", and the devs had done it again with this one. It's beautiful and is a delightful puzzle, good balance of relaxing and engaging and just challenging enough to make it satisfying when you get that confetti for perfecting a level. And it performs well even on my older model device. Well done!
