Homerun Clash 2 takes everything that made the first game great and turns the volume up to eleven. The multiplayer matches are lightning-fast and genuinely tense, especially when you're down to the last pitch. The inclusion of 'Legendary' batters adds a fun collection element, and each one feels distinct in their hitting style.
The graphics are a significant step up from the original, with stadiums that feel alive and impact effects that make every home run feel incredibly powerful. The strategy involved in picking the right skill cards adds a layer of depth that prevents it from being just a simple timing game. If you're looking for a competitive sports fix on your phone, this is the gold standard.
Real-time PvP home run battles
Collect and upgrade Legendary Batters
Unique skill cards to sabotage rivals
Stunning 3D graphics and animations
Don't just swing at everything. Wait for the 'Special' balls—they travel slower but offer massive point boosts if hit for a home run.
Each stadium has different wind patterns. Check the wind indicator at the top of the screen before aiming your shot to avoid foul balls.
While primarily focused on PvP, there are challenge modes and practice ranges to hone your skills.
This second hrc game has a much different feel than original game. it has much of the same content, with the addition of some new features also. challenge mode is very different, yet still very fun. it is a much shorter session of challenging gameplay than the 10 minute or more sessions that you have to play for a high score in the first hrc. the red ball challenge derby is an excellent new event that is a 24hr event where you can compete on your own schedule, instead of requiring you to play at a specific hour of the day. 2vs2 battle royale is another fun implementation, and it is an idea i had suggested to Haegin over a year ago, so i am happy to see it put into play. i would love to see it evolve into a more competitive and consistent game mode, where players can select a teammate of their choice and register the team for a ranked season. Many of the differences are for the better, in my opinion. I like that the trophy count dictates the 1vs1 stadium you queue for, and it will prevent the issue from hrc1 where highly skilled and players with very progressed, high level accounts are hanging back in low stadiums bullying newer players with lower level batters/items. I don’t particularly like the difference in the game clock reaching 0:00 meaning the score is locked and balls in flight are not going to get credited. it is something that i am not used to and it makes a big difference in the overall outcome of many matches.
Feels like the beta version with all the frequent UI changes. I appreciate the improvements but this is a bit excessive. Also, the home run pass runs out too fast. Why not just make it last the whole month? I’d personally have no problem purchasing it each month and it should include a pass that can skip the ads. It’s a fun game to pass time but I find most people quit within a month or two because it’s repetitive and gets a little boring getting stuck on the same stadium for so long. Can I suggest a random stadium mode? Maybe even a random batter and random stadium mode could be fun. Just a thought to mix things up.
I wanted to like the game because I love playing baseball arcade games. The graphics looked good so I gave it a try. It takes a minute to figure out the do’s and don’ts of the controls but those pickup pretty quick. My biggest problem is that it gets boring very quickly. The tutorial just shows the basics and if there’s a way to control more than just swinging the bat, it’s not obvious at all. Even with the Babe Ruth type pointing and calling your home run, you have no control over it beyond just swinging your bat. You don’t even get to control when to use it or the pinging of where you’re gonna hit it. If you’re trying to hurry and get more points before the timer runs down, out of nowhere your player calls the home run location. If the other player is continuing with normal at bats then they get in two swings before your animation is done pointing and winding up. You either end up too far behind to make the extra points worth it or the timer runs out in the middle of your animation and the slight edge you had is gone. I think they spent more time on the animation and images than they did on the actual gameplay. Minecraft has crappy 1980’s style pixel graphics and is still the top downloaded game in the world. I’d be willing to sacrifice graphics for a funner experience.
I love the game and the competitiveness, but only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it becomes really frustrating when your trying to level up in the 1 on 1 match ups and you get matched up with someone that is 11 times higher than you. I was at 1k and my opponent was 11k. Like after they hit 3 home runs and your defeated. So, I would suggest better match making. Also on the Arcade mode, sometimes the ball tracker marker gets “hidden” on amongst the background and it’s really hard to see. These are just a couple of things that I’d like to see fixed. Other than that, I really enjoy the game.
I hit a ball right before the time runs out. The game was real close and I got a called home-run which would have won me the game. The last game had it if the pitch made it out then the score would count making clutch hits a factor. But now even if the pitch goes before time runs out, you can’t even hit the ball anymore. This is an annoyance cause I believe that if the pitch is thrown before the time runs out then that hit should count for the final score.
Game was fun until I made the ice stadium and regularly would be matched against people with less than 50% win percentage but so many more games than me that every home run would score them double than what I would. Another extremely frustrating part was trying to get the daily goals of 2 called home runs. Regularly I would call the shot but somehow it wouldn’t count because the opponent would some outrageously scored home run to win. If the home run clears the fence it should be good. Last time I play this game to teeter between stadiums only to be matched against someone with 500 more trophies than me with a much smaller win percentage and learn I have no chance to win. A good game was ruined and I’m out.
So I downloaded this game and the very first time I opened it to play, it started to load but quickly stopped and prompted me to update to the newest version. So I clicked the update button and it brings me here to the App Store and literally nowhere is there an option or a way to update. I’ve literally searched everywhere and even tried to go to my updates on the App Store like the game instructed and still there’s absolutely no way to update the game. PLEASE HELP!!!! I would very much like to play the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Will raise my rating if the problem gets fixed.
Decent game all in all. Learned how to control ball direction for HR’s….that being said, there’s no way anyone should lose after 2 pitches. When I lose to a better player I’m good with that. Usually means I wasn’t hitting HR’s. But when I lose to paid characters without the slightest chance to win is crazy work.I’m not going to spend $50 for a character and I have to spend the money to have a chance at wining against these characters then I’ll uninstall
