Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Hidden Objects: The Journey is a quintessential example of how a simple genre can be elevated through high production values and diverse environmental design. Unlike many hidden object games that feel cluttered or static, this title injects a sense of adventure by moving the player through a variety of globally inspired locales. Each scene is hand-painted with a level of detail that makes the search process feel less like a chore and more like an exploration of a vibrant, living world.
The progression system is well-paced, introducing new mechanics like 'silhouette search' and 'night mode' just as you start to get comfortable. While it follows the standard free-to-play model with energy constraints, the generous daily rewards and the sheer number of collectibles hidden in each level provide a satisfying sense of accomplishment. It’s a great 'coffee break' game that challenges your observation skills without inducing the stress of a timer-heavy puzzler.
Beautiful hand-drawn environments from real-world locations
Multiple puzzle modes including Silhouette and Word-list
Collectible souvenirs and artifacts in every stage
Regular seasonal updates with limited-time world tours
When dealing with high-density scenes like the 'Istanbul Bazaar,' use the zoom feature with two fingers. Many items are partially obscured by larger objects, and a 2x zoom is often required to register a tap on small collectibles like earrings or needles.
Each level costs a set amount of energy. To play longer, focus on completing the 'Daily Passport' missions which often reward you with infinite energy for 30 minutes, allowing you to grind for upgrade materials without cost.
Hints recharge over time, but you can earn instant 'Compass' hints by watching optional ads or completing achievement milestones.
I have a lot of the style of game downloaded on my iPad, but without a doubt, this is my favorite game. I can’t believe how many levels there are and I can actually find 99% to 100% of the items each game. I love that you have the option to watch an ad to get a free clue. I immediately bought the ad-free version and I’m so excited about all these levels! You have enough content to cover three separate companies that put these out. I also love your graphics. I’m 60 years old and they’re adorable. 🥰 I love finding funny situations and certain “people “ and “cartoon characters.” Thank you for making such a terrific game. I play a few levels every night and it really helps me unwind and keeps my brain greased. Thank you so much for this terrific game!
Update: What happened to all the new levels only got to played them all once then they suddenly disappeared? Very disappointed & decreasing app rating. May restore original if some would please post you’ll be restoring missing levels soon. Thank you I’ve been playing this app for 5 months & searched every location at least 20 times. About 2 weeks I noticed most locations were now flipped backwards making them challenging again. A few days after that there were lots of new states, cities, and countries added & old ones had new scenes and items to find. The items are smaller and harder to find, at least for my old eyes. What I don’t understand as of today 5/2/24 shows last update was 3 months ago which doesn’t make sense since entire game changed? Each city or country scene has 60 items, 5 of each, you need to find. It’s a free game so yes there are ads that pop up every time you find all 5 of an item do you know they are coming. Some scenes are more challenging than others and there’s an option to watch an ad to get free clue. I can’t think of worse ways besides this to waste away my time. I recommend giving it a try it’s not as bad as done apps there are not adds every 90 seconds you actually get time to play without interruption, at least for a while.
This game was so addicting relaxing and fun. Yes the ads were obnoxious there is zero need to be so greedy and have ads after every other move. It was worth it most of the time because I could click skip but the amount of clicking just to finally get to where you can exit it was very annoying Anyway thank played so much I made it past level 400 in a blink tho some levels made things so hard to find I would take a break and come back find it right away right in plain sight. But after passing 400 things were getting extremely hard to find because they were being hidden behind pushes with just a small piece visible. But what’s ruined it for me is it’s starting to have things hidden inside or I should say behind glass doors. I look everywhere finally had to use the magnified glass and where it circled now nothing was there but I clicked on it anyway and sure enough it was there. Just no fun anymore deleting it
...the graphics & levels of play are really great, & I love the huge variety of items to find (not your standard, boring usual: camera, gloves, bird, umbrella 😞). But, unfortunately, none of this matters when the game crashes every 5 minutes! This usually happens when you have to view an ad. And, the ads are waaayyy too excessive. I get the whole “that’s how we make our money” thing but, every time you find all of one item you get an ad, then the game crashes. You go back in, play 3-5 minutes, clear an item, get an ad & the game crashes. You have to REALLY want to play this game to put up with it. I don’t. I love everything about the game, except the fact that I can’t play it. I’ll give 5 stars & a great review if you can fix the bugs. As it is, I can’t play it & won’t recommend it. One last thing about ads - you couldn’t pay me to play Royal (insert expletive) Match! Their ads are too long & too idiotic to bear. I delete games that overplay the RM ads. Thanks
I don’t know why people leave reviews on these games complaining about the game having “too many ads” do people not understand that the game is FREE and that’s the ONLY way the game developers can make money off their own product unless you buy in-game content (and let’s be real, if you’re complaining about ads, probably not buying in-game content/doing anything to support the developers) I’m just a guy who’s tired of seeing people complain and whine about games having “too many ads” while the game is free I know those same people would not want to spend a dime on a game. So just sit through the barely 10-15 seconds that might help pay the developers and ultimately won’t cost you too much…….Okay…..thank you for reading my Ted Talk 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
As a retired 71 YO female I tell myself that playing a few challenging games each day will help to keep my mind active and able to focus on a task. (ha-ha!!) This game is one of my new favorites for this purpose. And your bright colors and size of your graphics are simply stunning. A few other things I appreciate about your product are the variety in the games & the objects, the ads are bearable and unlike other games I’ve played, so far I haven’t encountered your developers (seemingly) withholding one or two hidden objects for a time to get you playing (watching ads) longer. If I continue to have good luck i.e. no crashes, games are good…. I’m sure I’ll go ad-free. This game is awesome :-)
This game is really fun and addicting, but it has a ridiculous amount of ads. And I mean like an obscene amount. They are the same ads, from the same company, over and over again until you swear you will never play a single game from that company because you are so sick of the ads that lie by the way, because I am familiar with that company. The game was relaxing and fun until the same ad over and over and I swear to god, you are stuck in them for like 2 minutes sometimes. I would pay to go ad free, I was waiting until payday and the game was very relaxing and fun, but the ads got to be to much, what once relaxed me just instantly annoys me. I will most likely end up deleting the app before I pay for it now. So if you want to play this game, you better be willing to go ad free, or have an unlimited amount of patience for ads that are nothing but lies to consumers that play on repeat every couple of minutes.
I like the game and even paid the high price to remove the ads because there seems to be a lot of different levels to play. If I had played the game a little longer, I never would have purchased it because I found that the limited number of lives aspect ruins the whole game. Putting a limit on lives adds nothing to the game except frustration. I quickly use up all the lives just by trying to move the screen around, or trying to click in the exact right spot (especially when it’s a moving target). People play hidden object games because we want a relaxing, low stress gaming experience. If I was interested in a game with limited lives where I have to replay the same level over and over, I would have chosen a platform game instead. Removing this dumb aspect would make it a 5 star game instead of a frustrating mess.
