Have fun with the hexa puzzle game!
Hexout is one of those 'just one more level' games. The 3D presentation makes a huge difference here—there's something incredibly satisfying about watching the tiles zip off the screen once you've solved the logic of the board. The color palette is bright and welcoming, and the sound design makes every tap feel impactful.
The difficulty curve is very gentle. While some seasoned puzzle veterans might find the first 50 levels or so a bit too easy, the complexity does ramp up as the board gets more crowded and the paths become more intertwined. It’s a great 'coffee break' game because it doesn't require a huge time commitment but still gives your brain a nice little workout. If you enjoy games like HexaAway but want something a bit more vibrant and approachable, Hexout is a solid choice.
Innovative arrow-based hexagonal sorting gameplay
Vibrant 3D graphics and smooth animations
Over 100 levels of increasing difficulty
Satisfying sound effects for a Zen-like atmosphere
Offline play support for gaming anywhere
Before tapping, look at the direction every tile is facing. Start with the tiles on the outer edges that have a clear path. If a tile is blocked, you'll need to find the specific sequence of tiles that clears the path for it first.
Interact with a 3D board where tiles fly off in the direction of their arrows. Each successful tap contributes to a satisfying chain of movement until the board is clear.
The goal is to clear all hexagon tiles from the board by tapping them so they move in the direction their arrows are pointing.
I love that this app doesn’t take one to the point of total failure. It’s very imaginative with different ways to change the game but you can still win as long as you’re paying attention to each move (we can always defeat ourselves!). Those games that bring you to a complete stop unless you pay for better stuff are awful. For those of us who have to do OT for brain injuries, this game is perfect because its potential for winning is consistently positive, which a damaged brain kind’a needs. Thank you.
Better than some of the hex games out there. I detest the ads for the miracle gelatin fat loss 20 pounds in two weeks nonsense. There’s so many of these ads and if you don’t keep hitting things, it’ll keep playing for 50 seconds. I wish these ants were not run, they’re scams, they use false celebrity and TV news endorsements. They should be banned.
I am trying to like this game but 2 things prevent 5 stars. First, it’s VERY difficult to move up to position 1 since there are continual ads after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. It makes it IMPOSSIBLE. I have played for a solid hour or more and can’t even rank to the 10 spot. It drains my battery having to wade through and watch all the ads after every game I finish. Secondly the “ching” noise is ANNOYING if you’re here for the ASMR portion - that NEEDS TO GO. I turned off the music and thought that would fix the problem but no….still get the “ching” and it just gets on my last nerve so I have to play with volume completely down.
Play a puzzle, watch an add. Do a challenge watch up to 6 minutes of adds and then you can do the challenge. Do anything in this app and you have to watch an add. I was wasting more time watching adds than actual game play. About a 2 to 1 ratio. The puzzles are actually good, when you get to play them. If they had an adds free option, then I would definitely give them a four or possibly five star rating. If you actually want to play a game , then do not download this game.
The game lets you play about 100 levels before introducing ads between every level. I’d rather get stuck and need to watch an ad to get some kind of boost instead of making me pause between every level. That just makes me close it and lose interest. Other than that it’s a cool game. I wish there were better revenue models for these apps!
Hope you like ads because you literally have to watch one after EVERY level you beat! There’s no 1 ad after playing 5,6,7,8 levels in a row. No. There is literally an ad that takes over a minute just to exit out of (I’m talking hitting that “x” button 3-4 times sometimes 5 times just to get out of it!) after every level you beat: level-ad-level-ad-level-ad i honestly don’t know if it’s worth even keeping the game anymore.
This game is addictive but to a point, the ads are a game changer. OMG they get longer and longer the more you play!! Are you trying to locate the “that’s it” point?? I really tried to ignore the ads and I went on with it thinking they would taper off BUT NOPE! So today is my THAT’S IT point. I will find MANY other games to play without the garbage that goes along with this.
I really do enjoy this game and I understand that there have to be ads. But the same repeated ad for gelatin every time, the length of that ad and the times you have to push the button to move on are just getting excessive! If we have to have an ad after each level, at least find ads that are quicker!
