Welcome to the Neighborhood! We fixed some issues in this recent build
Nicky's Diaries is a brilliant expansion of the Hello Neighbor universe, successfully pivoting the series into a more episodic, diary-driven adventure format. It manages to retain the core DNA—the tense, cat-and-mouse stealth and environmental puzzles—while introducing a much more personal narrative. Playing as a young Nicky, you uncover the dark secrets of the neighborhood through a series of flashbacks and present-day incursions into Mr. Peterson's house.
The AI Neighbor remains as devious as ever, learning your habits and setting traps to intercept you. The addition of 'Nicky’s Gadgets' adds a welcome layer of verticality and creativity to the stealth. The graphics are colorful and 'suburban-gothic,' creating a unique atmosphere that is both nostalgic and unsettling. It’s a more structured and narrative-focused experience than the original, making it more accessible for new players while providing deep lore for long-term fans.

Once you obtain the umbrella, use the attic window to leap onto the Neighbor's roof. This allows you to bypass his backyard traps and enter the master bedroom from above, which is usually the least guarded part of the house in the early chapters.
Collect electronic scraps and rubber bands scattered in the basement. These can be combined at Nicky's workbench to create the 'Remote Noise Maker,' which is essential for distracting the Neighbor so you can steal the blue key from his belt.
Yes, Nicky's Diaries is a standalone game with its own story, though it is set in the same universe as the original Hello Neighbor.
If I’m being completely honest, this game is very interesting as it adds on to the hello neighbor compelling storyline. I like the puzzles where there are enough details and clues to solve them. I haven’t fully completed this game yet, but there were a few times I would just completely clip under the map when I get into a corner in the neighbor’s house or just by simply jumping on objects thus making me restart my game a few times throughout my walkthrough. Tiny build games, I enjoyed playing all your hello neighbor games but there are just too many of them and many of them I know you guys are still working on and updating, so keep up the great work. Besides that, I would definitely recommend this game for anyone because the gameplay is awesome and it’s a lot of fun.
This game is so good. The objective is to find what the neighbor is hiding by looking back at your childhood memories. I finished in a few minutes, the game was pretty easy. I really like detectives, so this is the game for me. I’m planning on asking my mom for all the acts of the original hello neighbor game and this one, just separately, and not now. The developers of the hello neighbor series really did a good job. Just a few problems. The doors keep opening and closing by themselves and that’s not the neighbor, it’s just a bug and the neighbor could find me if the doors are open. And we have to pay for the game. I am really satisfied with the gameplay they let me have before I had to pay, so it’s fine, and like I said, I’m planning on asking my mom anyway. The lore behind this game is really attractive and interesting, had me hooked until I realized I had to pay. This game has potential if the door bug gets fixed. The last update was a few months ago, and this game is two years old so I understand. Fix this please, ☆𝒥𝒶𝒶𝓁𝒾♡︎
Ok so it was very different from the 1st game. The neighbor didn’t glitch through walls or explode on contact with an object at all, so it’s not very buggy. Also he doesn’t have 360 degrees of vision, so he can’t see you when you walk behind him, which is pretty nice for realism and gameplay. The gameplay was a little bit confusing but the tutorials saved it from being unplayable. I overall enjoyed the gameplay. There’s a lot of access around the house, like the roof and stuff, which was pretty nice. I sort of wish the neighbor was more of a threat though, I barely ever saw him throughout the game. The doors opening automatically was a bit annoying, and it needs the keyholes to be functional. It is the demo version though, so I won’t be counting off for too much. I’d love to see the full version of the game when it comes out! Also thank you so much for not putting in ads.
So, we already know that then original Hello Neighbor kinda sucked. The game was buggy and not that stable on mobile until about a few months ago. The game received a graphical and stability overhaul that no one saw coming. The game is much better now. On mobile at least. Hide and Seek was a little bit better, but suffered from the same stability issues as the original. That one got no overhaul. This game was test released in Russia in 2020 (I think) and stayed in early access until a few months ago. This game is much better than the original. The story is clear and thought out, the gameplay is… okay… better than the original, and for once there is no platforming. Thank God. Amazing improvement, tinyBuild! Keep up the good work!
This is a very fun game and I really do enjoy playing but a couple things need to be fixed. 1: some of the sounds for the doors in the basement are just reused from the first game and it really doesnt sound good in my opinion. 2: This game (especially the basement levels) get a bit frustrating because when you get caught the whole level resets, and I think a good way to fix this is to reset the level but keep items in the player's inventory. 3: The neighbor at some points looks really weird because of the way he moves, one of my biggest issues is the jumping animation and how high he jumps, but honestly after all that, its still an enjoyable game and I do suggest playing if your a fan of the franchise
I’ve been a fan of hello neighbor since 2020 it’s a great game and I love this new one. It is way easier for me to be honest the original game was way harder for me. I could only get through act one, but this one I could just fly by. I also love the art style. It scratches my brain in a very pleasant way. sure I didn’t have to ball my eyes out to get my parents to buy me the full game, but it was way worth it. The mechanics are very, very smooth Sure there are some glitches but at least they’re on as many as the original game. That’s pretty much all I have to say about this wonderful game so that’s the end of my review.
It’s a fun game. Basically, you have to break into your neighbor’s house and try to find a certain item. Each time you find an item, his house gets bigger and there’s more to explore. There are quite a few minor flaws, however. First of all, the default sensitivity is too high. I had to lower it because trying to point at a small item was extremely annoying. Also, the button that lets you use your equipped item is in a very inconvenient spot. I kept accidentally using my power-ups, which ended in me using them up completely. Aside from these small complaints, the game is solid.
This game is really fun. I really enjoyed playing it. I loved how each time you took a picture of something, it told you a backstory. And they were all interesting (the backstories) I also loved the creativity too. And how the game gave you little chills. And that you get eager to play the game because it’s really good. But there’s a few issues. The first issue is that everything is too short. It feels like it takes less than 3 minutes to complete each round. The second problem is that as soon as you’re done completing all of the very short rounds, it tells you that you can’t continue playing unless you buy the full game. Which is really annoying and upsetting, considering it is such a good game. Let Me Explain The Game: When you first start, it first explains how to play it (obviously) And after that, when you REALLY start, your at your house, you can’t go through the door. You have to go through the window. Out the window, there there are wooden boards built for you to step onto, you go on that and then jump off. You will then see neighbors house, you just open the door. And when you walk in, there will be arrows to guide you to where you need to go (They are red and have lights around them) For example, if you see a red arrow pointing towards a door, and you go through it, it’ll show you something to pick up. You pick it up, and take a picture of it. After you take a picture of it, it’ll give you a backstory. Those are really good. But warning. After you find the object, you’ll have to run because neighbor will come and catch you. I hope this helped. Sorry for the long review. But I’m still pretty bummed that I couldn’t play the full game. And to the maker of the game, if you’re reading this, can you please make the games longer? They are really good and joyful. Thank you.
