Heartopia is a triumph of the 'cozy' genre. It takes the best elements of Animal Crossing and The Sims and blends them into a vibrant, socially-connected world that feels truly alive. The level of customization available for your home is staggering—the grid-free placement and the ability to customize patterns on almost any surface allow for a level of creative expression that is rare on mobile.
What truly impressed me, however, was the community focus. The game fosters a genuinely kind and helpful environment. Whether you're helping a neighbor water their garden or collaborating on a town festival, the interactions feel meaningful. It’s a beautiful, safe space for players of all ages to express themselves and build a digital life that feels warm and welcoming. It's not just a game; it's a happy place.
Vast, beautiful open world
In-depth home and character design
Real-time multiplayer community
Relaxing, wholesome gameplay

Start by talking to the Mayor to receive your starter seeds. Planting flowers early and fulfilling 'Villager Requests' is the fastest way to earn 'Heart Points' for furniture.
The interior design tool allows for precise, grid-free placement and rotation of furniture, plus the ability to paint individual patterns and colors on walls and floors.
There is a shop for optional cosmetic items and furniture sets, but all functional gameplay items can be earned through play.
Let me start off by saying this game is everything I need it to be and MORE! There is so much to do- cooking, driving, fishing, making music and even ICE skatingggg!! There’s so many people (npc’s, players) to interact with and the customization is very thorough. You can have so many different types of styles and sets for your character. On top of that the game itself, graphics and art style are really what make this a 5 star game. I will say the micro transactions are not my favorite but they’re advertised in a way that isn’t distracting, frustrating or disruptive to the gameplay itself. It’s truly additional items so I don’t mind paying if I see something I like. I’ve been playing everyday since it released and It’s so exciting to see all the added challenges and updates weekly. I have been experiencing a slight bug with my cat specifically, where- upon seeing her at home, there is no automatic pop up for interacting with her like with my dog. They will stand side by side and I only have the option to feed or pet my dog. This is very concerning when she’s hungry because they eat daily and I feel bad when their tummies grumble. Please look into the interactions with pets/cats so they can stay consistent. The wild animal interactions have worked perfectly for me so I want to give my pets the same courtesy. Otherwise keep up the great work! You’ve truly created a work of art with this game and I’ll definitely keep playing! :)
I want to start this review with this first yes, no one is forcing money to be spent in a “free” game, but when you love a game (if you are able and only if) adding support to those who work on the game so they can go home to their families with a smile and food on the table, is why you do give money to this type of game. But, when a game doesn’t care about its player is when things turn for the worse, and I fear this is becoming the case. The title is the truth to this review. A fear I will have to end my Heartopia journey before it starts. I have been excited to play this game every day for the passed week, only for the more I play the more I find people (whom have which played for much longer) saying they are hurting by the developers lack of care for us who aren’t on CN servers. The more players who are starting to say they have wasted their time with this game and its predatory system. In which makes it hard to receive any value in the spending of their hard earned money especially in today’s real life climate. This review will probably seem as ‘comical’ to some but to others it’s the truth. The truth is this, many people see this game as a way to leave real world issues and be able to smile, but when the game only sees its player as money symbols what really are we the player escaping truly? We leave one beast for another.
Love the game very much it's all most my life. Here r the problems.1. I want to make houses with out saving my builds and plus I'm all most at level 30 for a island. So I like if u will add more islands for only 50 stars for the islands and make 10 islands for each person.2. I want to get the pink ice skates but it's going to be a long time in till I get them plus I did something wrong for the ice skating challenge but I don't know what I did wrong I don't even think i did anything wrong with it.3. Why can't we get 100 cons every 2 mins we play and get 15 daily challenges to level up your DG member level.4. I need there to be more clothes that are not a lot of money bc the best clothes are in the shop but that means there a lot of money so make them not so much money oh and make more pink clothes. One more thing I want to talk more to talk to friends but u can only say stuff a but fix it to talk more stuff to friends and make a chat that only friends can see so u can see If u missed something a friend said u can still see it in the chat and only see stuff that friends said when u joined and see stuff that people who are not ur friend but see only this ##### in as many stuff thay said. Thanks for reading please do it if ur the owner of the game. Love the game byee! ;)
I love this game so much! I’ve been playing since it came out in the US. It’s so cozy and relaxing and it’s so fun to play with friends. The only issue I have recently encountered is the refund issue. I got a few extra charges on my bank acc for purchasing some heart gem packs, I didn’t authorize a payment that day, let alone 3. so I went to dispute it since at the time this happened, I didn’t have enough in my bank acc to cover it. I panicked and disputed. I know there probably was a better way to go about it, but like I said I panicked and didn’t think. I went to play the game again I wanna say a day after, went to chat with my homie and it said I was muted for 10 YEARS. Then I noticed I have -1000 heart gems. I have tried emailing them, and have been sent back an email stating the email I sent couldn’t go through. I have done some research, don’t know if there’s anything else or if this is even possible, but and I have to pay around $60+ to get my heart gems out of negatives to get my account back to normal. If I do that I will not be able to use any of said gems since it will be getting me out of those negatives. I really do love this game and have spent a good amount of my money WHEN I WANT TO, and spent a lot of time playing. I just want my account back to normal without having to pay a hefty amount. I don’t want to lose all the money and time and effort I spent playing over something this silly.
This game is literally the game of my dreams! It combines all my favorite games into one! If you like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, SIMS, you’ll LOVE this. Or at the very least, enjoy it a lot. This game is so so fun and enjoyable! There is SOO much stuff to do! And even if you just want to chill, you can quite literally do that. The map is HUGE, so many features, furniture, accessories and clothes On top of that, you get many opportunities to get so much free stuff! And the developers most definitely do not cut you out. If you do decide to make a purchase, in my honest opinion (also as someone who doesn’t like to “waste” money on games) it’s actually worth it. You get the most cutest moped for your first purchase and you can literally purchase the $0.34 hearts pack. You can 100% play, spend NO money, and still have fun. On top of all this, the game runs so smoothly. My phone was 100% charged, I played for 4 hours and my battery was barely at half. I’m super impressed with how smooth this game runs with the graphics it has. Only downside (in my opinion) is the tutorial aspect is very long. You do a ton of quests, which does earn you a lot of money, but it takes time before you can unlock all the features. Still soooooo worth it though! I’ve probably earned at least 25,000 coins from the tutorials alone
Just started playing a game and it’s so many pop-ups of things to do back to back that you forget the things you just learned. Soon as you move in right away, you pick the house and they show you how to build things and put in furniture, which is good but right after you put like three things down Townies pop up every second. The over explanation of the game it’s a little irritating. To be compared to animal Crossing, the game does move fast not as peaceful as animal crossing. I have animal crossing and played it and flipped it. I know this game is supposed to be similar to animal Crossing, but it’s task after the task. And after each little task, you have to continue to talk each townie. I wish the game allowed you to walk around and learn about the town instead of adding the task. It’s like you can’t even focus on what you just did cause you jumped to the next one right away. One minute you learning about building a house then someone come up to teach you how to fish and right away your going to the clothing store to help someone. And it’s SO many text bubbles to read maybe I’m just impatient, but it’s a little irritating with the step-by-step tutorial for the smallest task. You pick up and move one box you get a long explanation. Maybe the game is made for people that needs step-by-step tutorials on everything. But I’ll keep playing it and see if it gets better. I’ll update the review once I play more.
So I want to start this off by saying that I love this game so far but i have encountered a couple of issues so far. For one I purchased 3 recipes from Massimo's cooking store, Fish & chips, Cheese Cake and Grilled Mushroom but they dont show up anywhere. i've checked my mail, my backpack and the cooking stove, i dont know if i accidentally deleted them or sold them or something but i cant find them anywhere. Secondly, I've noticed when placing custom markers on the map they dont show up on the mini map so it's hard to find them unless i'm tracking them which is a bit troublesome to open up the big map and select to track them one by one rather than just being able to see them on the mini map. Third, Pets, absolutely love the idea however I wish there was a way to trade out the animals I picked out in the beginning since I was unaware of the different breeds that show up in the animal shelter as well as unaware of there being a limit of only 2 pets which when i first start playing i just chose any cat and dog to complete the quest. Fourth and probably the most annoying feature in the game for myself is that in order to place items or plant items and to fish you have to be directly in front of where you want to aim and looking at it and its very finicky to get things in the right spot, i think it would be much easier to either point and click where you want to place something to make things less of a hassle of trying to get your character in the right spot. These are just some things ive noticed so far since playing the game since release that have been a bit irritating to deal with for myself.
I have had my share of playing many farming/building/dress-up/ cozy games in a nutshell within my reach ever since I was a youngin, and let me say this is very fun! To start off, there’s loads of content already ready without even spending a dime, so don’t worry for unexpected wait timers thinking you have to spend some type of currency only really accessible with real money to speed things up; you don’t. There’s pets, friends to meet, houses to build/decorate/ cute customization options, and totally cute photograph spots to take pics with your friends/critters! Now, you might be wondering,( now why did I give it a 4 star?) well, this is mainly due to the fact that,( at least when I play,) this game is supposed to be multiplayer right? Well yes it is. And I have come across players, a few times at least. However it seems that it’s pretty deserted when I get on to play so far no matter when I join. There’s the npc players, which is pretty normal to see, but for a multiplayer game I’d hope to see more players walking about, hanging out with others, etc, to really get that cozy town village vibe I thought when I downloaded this. In conclusion, this is a really great game for those who don’t really have those high end pcs, or whatever since you can play this on mobile devices,( as I am playing this on my I pad myself,) and I also recommend that if, and when you play this, to make sure you set your frame rate to 30 fps instead of 60, especially for mobile,( it was kinda glitchy for me at the start of it all.) anyways, that was my review! Hope whoever reads this gives this game a go! Thank you!!
