Bug fixes
Heads Up Hold'em is a focused, high-intensity poker experience that strips away the fluff of full-table tournaments. As an expert in card games, I find the 1-on-1 format to be a fantastic way to practice the psychological aspects of poker. Without the distraction of other players, the game becomes a pure battle of nerves and mathematical probability against the AI.
The interface is clean and snappy, allowing for very fast rounds that are perfect for mobile play. While the AI can be somewhat predictable in lower tiers, the 'Expert' difficulty provides a legitimate challenge that punishes overly aggressive betting. It lacks some of the social features of modern poker apps, but for someone looking for a pure, distraction-free Texas Hold'em training tool, it hits the mark perfectly. It’s a great way to sharpen your 'Heads Up' skills without risking a real bankroll.
Pure 1-on-1 Texas Hold'em gameplay
Multiple AI difficulty levels
Detailed player statistics tracking
Fast-paced, mobile-optimized interface
In 1-on-1 play, aggression is often rewarded. Observe the AI's response to your pre-flop raises. If the AI consistently folds to large bets, use that to steal pots with weaker hands, but be prepared to fold if they suddenly play back at you.
The game provides a detailed breakdown of your winning hands and betting frequency. Use this data to identify 'leaks' in your game and adjust your strategy against tougher AI tiers.

I agree with this review completely: My son hooked us up through the Game Center pre loaded app to play each other; the direct Bluetooth used to work but doesn't anymore - please address. I can't play with a family member, who is in the same room. Regardless of what we do it says connection lost. Please address ASAP. When playing against compute it is a 4-5* app
Fun, two-player Bluetooth mode that occasionally works. The Bluetooth usually fails to connect and sometimes drops randomly. If they fixed that bug, I'd give it 4 stars. As it is, 2 stars.
Have been using it for years, loving it except the minor glitches with the last update 2 years ago, hopefully the developer will update it to the latest iOS
A fun, fast-paced Texas Hold 'Em app. I enjoy the sound effects provided by the app such as chips being placed, the user interface is very well done, and the protectors are a nice touch. Worth the $0.99!
new version much better. no longer crashes with the new Iphone OS 😀
Would be 5/5 if not for the crashes
Won’t turn on and accept invites. and turns off 1/2 way through game. Frustrating. Leaderboard banner across top won’t disappear and blocks the send and cancel button. So all I can do to get rid of it is reboot. This game needs a lot of fixes FYI
App Bluetooth / wireless option won’t work since a couple iOS’s ago. Used to love it. Wish it could be fixed.
