Hardwood Solitaire IV Pro is the 'luxury' option for solitaire enthusiasts. What immediately sets this app apart is its incredible visual fidelity—the cards look real, the table feels like a solid piece of furniture, and the 3D environments are lush and inviting. It transforms a simple card game into a relaxing, high-end experience that is perfect for winding down at the end of the day.
The 'Pro' version is packed with features that go far beyond basic solitaire. It includes dozens of variations (Klondike, Freecell, Spider, etc.) and a deep achievement system. The most unique feature is the 'Autoplay' which intelligently finishes won games for you, saving time and frustration. The touch controls are fluid, and the ability to customize your avatar and environment adds a layer of social personality that is rare in the genre. It’s the most complete and beautiful solitaire collection available on mobile.

I have other solitaire apps but this one remains my favorite over and over again. I love the background choices, the sounds in the background, and all the unique solitaire games like Grandfather Clock and Montana that I love to play for hours.
I have played and enjoyed this game for years. The look and feel of it, the sounds, and the gameplay made it a go to game for me. But a new version was just pushed to my phone, and I hate it. The new game play is slower and clumsier, and it seems like it’s now impossible to win unless you buy tokens to cheat when you get stuck. I don’t play that way, and I resent that it’s being foisted upon me. I paid for the app years ago, and I get that the developer needs to make money, but forcing me to change the way I play so that I have to buy tokens is not going to make them any money from me. I didn’t ask for this upgrade, and I don’t like that they are basically saying that I either have to adapt to their pay model or I can’t use the game I paid for. It seems that they have made my choice for me.
Hardwood card games are the best! Solitaire is my favorite and the pro version cuts out all the ads and offers a lot more versions of the game. Now I can enjoy one of my favorite games with being bothered with all the adds!
I have been playing this solitaire for years. I stay away from the mystical and enjoy the different card selections and the sound effects of the cards.
My wife is crying because she can no longer play this game. I bought this for my wife who has cognitive disabilities from MS years ago on her computer. As windows changed and became more complex due to constant marketing, I switched her to the iPad and bought it again. Now she can’t play this game due it hounding her to login, try add ons and whatever else. It’s a shame all this is getting so greedy for revenue be if from subscriptions or reselling personal info about customers.
I got this expecting to have clock along with all the others. Now I find I have earn the rest of the games in order to get what I was after.
I was thrilled to discover that this is now an app on the Kindle. I’ve had their software often on for the last 15 years. It is the best solitaire game. I love the graphics.
I been very happy with this game for years until the last update which almost prevents you from getting a high score, now you have to wait until 3 cards are dealt which is a lot slower than before, please revert back to the way it was.
