Healed features with nasty bugs.
A ton of other minor changes to improve quality of life!
Happy Clinic is a fast-paced time management game that effectively captures the controlled chaos of a hospital. If you've played games like Diner Dash, you'll feel right at home, but the medical setting adds a layer of complexity that keeps things fresh. You're not just serving meals; you're triaging patients, managing lab results, and upgrading equipment to save lives.
The progression system is very well-balanced. As you move from a small clinic to a major hospital, you're constantly introduced to new mechanics and mini-games (like surgical procedures). The story is lighthearted but engaging, and the art style is clean and professional. It’s an addictive loop that rewards efficiency and strategic planning. A must-play for fans of the time-management genre.
Diverse medical mini-games
Global locations to unlock
Deep hospital customization
Engaging character-driven story
Always try to keep patients moving. If a bed is open, get a patient into it immediately. While they are waiting for a doctor, you can prepare the next set of lab results.
Invest your gold in faster diagnostic machines first. Reducing the time patients spend in 'limbo' is the key to getting 3 stars on every level.
The game uses an energy system for levels, but energy regenerates over time or can be topped up through gameplay rewards.
As soon as this game came out, it became my new favorite; I have played all the levels in all the locations and have been enjoying endless mode while waiting for more! This would be an easy 5/5 stars if it weren't for one major issue: The upgrade where you can add chairs to the waiting room to make the first two patients wait longer makes the game unwinnable. Because the chairs are side-by-side and ahead of the front of the queue, more patients enter the queue earlier than they do without the upgrade, and remain there losing patience when before the upgrade they would not have entered the queue yet. Before this upgrade, I won a little over half the time. Now, I can’t even get 1/3 of the way to the goal before the patients leave. I bought this upgrade in multiple locations before I realized it was the source of the problem, and now the game is completely unwinnable. Most of my other upgrades are maxed out, but even with maxed out staff speed and tray size the nurse just can’t get items to patients fast enough. After the chair upgrade, I now lose so early that I can only play the game for about 10 or 15 minutes before all my lives are gone. I am heartbroken that I can no longer play my favorite game due to an upgrade I bought that was supposed to make gameplay a little easier. I hope that this issue can be fixed in the next update— even a simple ability to un-upgrade would fix this issue. Thanks for reading.
I just downloaded this today, but it’s been fun and addictive so far. I play three other games by NordCurrent and they are all fun. I appreciate that I can earn both gems and coins for upgrades. I hope that I will be able to replay levels once I’ve unlocked free play because I like to go back and get 3 stars on every level. After playing this for several days, I can still say that it’s fun and addictive, but there are definitely issues with the currency and upgrade system. I’ve made it to level 112, but I spent about $50 to get the gems and coins necessary to do it. My other two favorite NordCurrent games, Airplane Chef and Cooking Fever, make it possible to progress in the game without spending money by level-grinding (playing the same levels over and over to earn coins & gems). This game doesn’t allow that. If you fail a level, you only get to keep 10% of what you earned. That’s really unfair. With how much upgrades cost, that means I have to play a level around 200 times in order to earn enough, but your lives are limited. I think that either Stamina need to be done away with, allowing continual level play like Cooking Fever, or you should keep the full amount of each level earned like Airplane Chef. I really like NordCurrent because they make cute, fun games and they have great customer service. I’m hoping that they listen to their customers and make the game a little easier for everyone to play.
This games honestly isn’t that bad. I have enjoyed playing it. The only setbacks are once you level up enough, you unfortunately can NOT win any of the levels without using gems. So you’re stuck! Unless, of course you have the $$ to buy gem backs, and even then you’re always going to have to keep buying gems to get past levels. The coin to upgrade ratio is extremely off. Another thing, don’t think about spending your precious 600 gems on self clearing of the beds, one would assume it would roll over into the next city….. NOPE. Each city you go to, each time you would have to rebuy the self clearing for the beds. That’s a little atrocious in my book, especially once you’re stuck, you’re stuck, unless again, you have the pocket money to keep buying gems. Lastly, these patients have no patience! It’s a little ridiculous, you upgrade for extra patience and it seems nothing happens. You upgrade for faster movements, and you’re still too slow. I could really enjoy this game long term, if some of these things were tweaked. I’m currently stuck on a level right now, and without buying gems there is nothing I can do, other than download another game like this one. I really hope this review is read, I like this game, but hard to stick around when you’re constantly stuck on a level and can’t get out unless you use gems that I don’t have. And you’re making most 20 coins on a level you fail, when upgrades are sooo expensive. I hope this gets fixed would love to stay around and support this game!
I love the game, genuinely as soon as I downloaded it. It was basically the only game that I played for about a whole week, but I feel like there should be more coins that are given to you during the cycle (the delivery man and the people that race that gives you coins every day) But the only reason I’m actually leaving this review on this game is because I don’t like that we are forced by the game to use our super power ups, I got my first two super power ups, and I was forced by the game to use them (there was a finger basically forcing me to press my power up or I couldn’t play the game) I feel like that should definitely be fixed whether it’s our first super power-ups or not. I didn’t need to use the power up in that level, and in later levels I may need to use it, but now I don’t have it because I was forced by the game to use it already. There are also a few bugs in the game, and it’s not just a one time thing, but this has actually happened multiple times where I’ve played through the game and randomly when I’m trying to heal a patient, nothing is working. My character will not go to that patient or the doctor will stand next to the patient and it won’t heal the patient at all. This has happened to me MULTIPLE times and I am on level 375 it’s very annoying because it still randomly happens.
I love playing this game but there are, like all games some downsides. I don’t like paying real $$ so some levels are difficult to win. If you keep playing it and learning the shortcuts….how to grab the items and replenish the combo machines or the ones that use an item to convert to another item… you can win without using your hard earned money. Having said that, there are times that a good return is offered for .99 to give you some boosts. Another negative is that the doctors skill level are not consistent with your leveling up. In my opinion, you should be able to keep your doctors skill level current with the game play a lot easier. They can’t keep up, and it’s each individual doctor at a time you have to pay for, not all of them at once. This is infuriating to me, because if you win the level before you have a chance to pay for your doctors skill level to go up to meet the need demand, then you’re already behind again. The costs need to be more consistent with the money you earn and it’s way off. The positive things are that you can earn gems and coins constantly. You have daily rewards, special rewards, boosts that you earn and you don’t ever have to watch an ad! That’s the best part. However, you can watch an ad to double your reward!
Whenever I am playing and a level finishes because some levels are timed. I notice that there is no menu to go and redo that level I just did. Instead I am taken to the next level. Also the amount of coins I receive are not enough, unless you purchase with real money, to buy any other items in the game. For example, I want to buy another hospital bed, and I cannot because the hospital bed is 600 coins. Each level only gives you less than the amount of the item’s purchasing price. So, if I am in level 3 I only receive about 160 coins. Then I will not be receiving anymore coins till the next levels and mind you in this level 3, the customers level of difficulty goes up by level 2 to 3 and now I also have to upgrade the doctors, which are 300 coins each and I had about 400 so that means only 1 doctor gets upgraded and the others will have to wait 2 more levels. Till I earn enough to upgrade all of them and by then the customers level of difficulty will be so high that I won’t be able to even play anymore without the customers all leaving by level 15 or so. So please fix the part of the game where I can go back to older levels so I may at least receive enough coins to upgrade all other items in the hospital to be able to defeat the levels.
Let me start off by saying… this is the type of game that you can spend money on. Emphasis on CAN. You do not need to spend money on this game to unlock the things required to pass the levels, which is amazing. Just like in most games, you have a couple different types of currency. Dollars and gems. In most games, the only way to get more of either is to spend real money, but in this game they introduce the concept of spending your GEMS to purchase more dollars, which, is very useful. They give you a bargain on it too. You need hearts in order to play the levels. You have a max of 5 hearts, and you earn 1 every 15min. You only lose a heart if you FAIL a level. I like this concept, because if I lost a heart everytime I passed a level, it would limit the time I could spend playing the game. This is not the case. It’s cool too, because it can get frustrating having a losing streak, but the game limits the amount of rage you can build up, by only allowing you to lose a max of 5 levels (6 if you watch the ad to unlock an extra heart). The only criticism I have would be to not limit the amount of ads you can watch to receive a heart to play another level. I was on the brink of finally passing a level, but had already used the ad to unlock a 6th heart. I wanted to watch another ad to unlock a 7th heart, but an ad wasn’t an available option. The only option available was to buy a heart with real money. It’s only a couple bucks, but for someone short on cash, this wouldn’t be very practical. Overall, I LOVE this game. It’s a great pastime, and poses a challenge while still being enough of a brain break. I highly recommend this game, especially if you were into the diner dash sort of thing.
It could be so much better! But it's just a money grab. You can only ask your team "society" for an extra life once every 24 hours but if no one is on or no one goes in to search for it and see it within a few minutes, it expires and then you have to wait 24 hours to ask again. The difficulty goes up waaaay faster than you get coins for all the numerous upgrades that are required to complete each level. Unless you spend A TON of money, you have to just keep playing 5 lives and losing over and over again, repeatedly, to get a fraction of the coins because if you lose, it doesn't give you all the coins you collected in that game, but only 1/10 of the coins. Example, if you make 120 coins but lose the game, you only get 12 coins. You only get all the coins you collected if you win the game. But you sometimes have to play the same 1 level ALL day to slowly get enough coins to do 1 upgrade that will help you SLIGHTLY. It's ridiculous. If you're going to raise the difficulty that fast, then compensate with enough coins to be able to buy enough upgrades. And there are So Many Things to upgrade in order to pass each level. The starting price on first level is 300 coins + for each item, and they only go up from there to over 1000 for each item upgrade quickly! You only win a few hundred coins each level you win, yet each level requires thousands of coins in upgrades. 10,000+ coins in upgrades required to help pass a level, win 300 coins when you win. How are you supposed to buy all those upgrades with a measly 300 coins? See what I mean? MONEY GRAB!
