Gun Run!! is a fast-paced 'upgrade-shooter' that starts with a really strong, addictive hook. The core loop of shooting obstacles to upgrade your gun's fire rate, damage, and range is classic Rollic Games fun. The addition of pets and charms provides some nice customization that isn't always found in these hyper-casual runners.

However, the game suffers from some technical frustrations. Many players have noted that the upgrade system seems to plateau after a certain point, where further fire-rate or damage boosts don't seem to actually change the gameplay. Additionally, the ad frequency is quite high, often interrupting the flow of a good run. It’s a fun, 'neat concept' for a casual afternoon, but the bugs in the later-stage progression and the heavy ad load hold it back from being a truly great title.

Broken, Buggy, and Outright Bad

The concept behind this casual game is neat and I was hooked playing the early stages. However my attitude quickly changed when reaching the later levels. The upgrade system is broken, effectively zeroing any value spent on damage or fire rate past a certain point. The best weapons via the “upgrade” path are mediocre when compared to some of their predecessors. I liked playing this game and imagining finally reaching the end. Sadly I don’t believe that’s possible while the current bugs (possibly intentional) are present.

Ads are annoying enough but an outrageous feature ruins it

So the ads alone after clicking the X on every single ad offer and having a guaranteed ad but the outrageous feature is that once you get past 13 on any of the upgrade counters in the levels there is literally no change the fire rate gets no faster the damage gets no higher and the range gets no further it is extremely annoying because after the finish line there is no way to get past the green section

First of all game said no ads but this company are liars and put LOTS of ads in ALL of their games, you can barely finish a level without getting an add or TWO ALL 30 seconds each the game constantly bugs and glitches out honest waste of time not fun enough and waste your time. A game I recomend that’s much better is a game called double money.

Before 2020, games was a way to help you get relaxed and have fun, now, this is Ridiculous, at every second you get an ad, hoping it’s not the one that you should watch the full 30 seconds of it! And wait another 5 seconds to skip it, and YOU WISH to have a game that it is like the ad! They give you the cheapest game possible with ads that will give you anxiety, and from now on, i am not installin any game on this phone, never ever, until they change these terrible Policies, what is wrong with people? What’s wrong with the world?

No ads purchase is a scam

Even after the $2.99 purchase of “no ads” you still have to watch ads if you want to progress and level up your stats. After using the in game cash on a stat it prompts you to continue leveling by watching an ad, but doesn’t give you any option to level further without watching the ad. Quick uninstall for me. At least let me level stats ad free with no ads purchase.

Don’t waste your time

I wish I read the reviews prior to download, but I also ran into the same issue that everyone has encountered. I am at level 250 now and have not progressed any further than I was at level 150. You can’t upgrade the weapon past a certain point, believe me you will try, but it’s impossible. Uninstalling this hot garbage now, thank god I only spent $2.99 for the no ads feature.

The game itself is actually fun but due to the amount of ads you get it’s not as enjoyable. Let alone how hard it is to level up and the system in being able to advance in the game is kinda bugged as you can get a high score and score even less than that considering you upgraded even more you can still find yourself getting no where near your highscore.

As usual, the developers are more interested in ads than they are a good game. Started out good but you plateau soon. Doesn’t seem like you will ever make it to the end and even if you do it will not be worth the time. You advance and then can’t make it to the same point, for lack of weapon’s available, for a long time. Fun at first but quickly lost interest because of the multitude of ads…….. as usual.
