1. Reduced flash intensity on coin collection.
2. Added flash on/off functionality in the Settings.
3. Improved game performance.
Golf Piko is a breath of fresh air in a saturated market of physics-based puzzles. It understands that 'minimalism' isn't just an art style; it's a design philosophy. Every swipe feels deliberate, and the game does an excellent job of introducing new mechanics—like the color-coded triggers—without overwhelming the player with tutorials.
The 'Try Before You Buy' model is incredibly honest and much appreciated. You get 25 levels to see if the logic clicks for you, and for two bucks, the remaining 75 levels are a steal. The difficulty curve is smooth, though Course 4 will definitely test your patience in the best way. My only minor gripe is that I wish there were more courses, but the 100 handcrafted holes currently available provide several hours of high-quality 'zen' gaming. It's a must-play for fans of games like Desert Golfing or Golf Peaks.
100 handcrafted puzzle holes across 4 unique courses
Minimalist, golf-inspired visual design and relaxing audio
No ads and a 'Try Before You Buy' progression model
Interactive elements: water, tunnels, triggers, and moving guards
Game Center achievements and global progress tracking
Optimized for iPhone, iPad, Mac (M-series), and Apple Vision Pro
Every hole in Golf Piko can be solved in a specific number of moves to earn a 'Perfect' rating. Early on, focus on 'Wall Banking'—using the edges of the screen to change your trajectory without using an extra swipe. In Course 2, you'll encounter Purple Buttons; these must be pressed by the ball to remove matching guards blocking the hole. If you're stuck on Level 24, remember that you must trigger the button *before* attempting to collect the final diamond, or the path will remain physically impassable.
The game is divided into four thematic courses. Course 1 introduces basic movement and walls. Course 2 adds triggers and gates. Course 3 introduces water hazards and sand traps that limit your swipe distance, and Course 4 combines all mechanics for the ultimate logic test. Players can track their progress and compete for the 'Total Least Swipes' title via Game Center. The recent 2.3 update also added a toggle in the settings to reduce the flash intensity when collecting diamonds, making for a more comfortable experience during long play sessions.
The first 25 holes are free. The full 100-hole experience can be unlocked for a one-time purchase of $1.99 (USD).
Level 24, when purple button is pressed by ball, and the purple guards go away over the diamond, the diamond is still unattainable and the ball cannot go onto that square even though the purple guard disappears.
Fun relaxing game but would like to reduce screen flash from collecting diamonds. It is very bright and sharp.
It has advertisements on the demo portion of the game. That means I need to buy the game without trying it to avoid ads. That defeats the purpose of having a demo. This is not a try-before-you-buy game.
Thought it seemed like a fun game. The touch movements are unresponsive and makes the game impossible to play or enjoy.
Standout games in this month's upcoming mobile games are: Bluey's Quest, Wat of the Hunter, SEGA Football Club Champions, and more!
