Gold Panning Shooter is an odd but oddly satisfying hybrid of a classic 'on-rails' shooter and a resource-gathering tycoon game. Instead of shooting traditional enemies, you’re blasting rocks and debris in a river to uncover nuggets of gold. It’s a very tactile experience, especially with haptic feedback enabled; you can really feel the impact of your shots as you sift through the virtual gravel.

While the core mechanic is quite simple, the 'Fever Mode'—where the river turns into a literal gold mine for a few seconds—is genuinely exciting. The progression is tied to upgrading your gear and buying better claims. It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but it’s a great 'coffee break' game that provides a steady sense of reward and some very bright, punchy visuals.
