Bug fixes and improvements
Five-O Deluxe is a brilliant 'math-meets-Scrabble' board game that deserves a spot on any puzzle lover's phone. By replacing letters with numbers and requiring sequences that sum to multiples of five, it creates a unique mental challenge that feels both familiar and entirely fresh. It’s the kind of game that forces you to look at the board differently with every turn, hunting for that perfect intersection that will net you a 25 or 30 point bonus.
The 'Deluxe' version adds a level of polish and connectivity that elevates the experience. The online multiplayer is smooth, and the inclusion of a 'Nudge' button is a life-saver for those long-running matches against friends. It’s also an excellent educational tool disguised as a competitive game; playing a few rounds feels like a great way to sharpen your mental arithmetic without the boredom of a typical math app. Simple, strategic, and highly replayable.

Look for intersections where one tile can complete two different sequences at once. Focus on landing high-value tiles on the colored bonus squares to multiply your score for that turn.
Challenge friends online or use the 'Pass-and-Play' mode for local matches. If your opponent is taking too long, use the 'Nudge' button to remind them it's their turn.
A sequence can be up to five tiles long and the sum of its numbers must be a multiple of five (e.g., 5, 10, 15, etc.).
Eliminate Pro is the only iOS game I truly and deeply loved. That game was perfect in countless ways. Five-O Deluxe is a very, very, very close second. After years and thousands of online matches, I never ever tire of it. Only thing it needs is a ranking system. I plead for a ranking system. PLEASE. I’m convinced I’d be atop the leaderboards, though I don’t know if I’d beat user “mspun” who’s probably the best player I’ve ever encountered. Other than that, this game is pure perfection.
I’ve played this game daily for at least 8 years simply because it’s a very smart game. While there is also a very nice community of active players on this game who keep me on my toes, new players are always welcomed. This game is easy to learn, never boring, always fun and it will improve your strategy skills to help keep your brain sharp.
I have loved this game since I discovered it. Improvements over the years were fine, bug eventually fixed. It now runs fine but still has notification issues, but bottom line it still works. Top of my wish list is some ability to communicate with others. I did create a Facebook group for users to communicate with each other, but no one has discovered it. I have always had troubles with numbers. I play this game against the computer and through it have been able to recognize and retain certain number relationships. It builds my confidence.
I had to come back to appl bc I couldn’t find this game on google play. Facts. No upgraded features needed. Purely original and f’nfun. Only games I’ve played this ( lost count almost a decade ago) - gems of war & card party. Bonus reminds me of ol’ndays games…. Boom
Just starting this game again after several months and remember how addicting this game is. Distribution of tiles is random enough when playing the computer on the “hard” level.
On of the early games I grabbed. It took a while to discover the strategy. When you play on hard level, I sometime think the computer is cheating.
Love the game. Hubby and I play while waiting for our food in restaurants. Can you please tell me the difference between the deluxe game and the other?????
