Fishy is a fast-paced arcade game based on the simple laws of nature. You start as a tiny fish in a vast, dangerous ocean. By consuming fish smaller than yourself, you gradually increase in size, allowing you to eat even larger prey. However, the water is filled with massive enemies that will hunt you down. Navigate with precision, grow your fish to its maximum size, and see if you can survive the treacherous depths of the ocean.

Fishy is a charming, arcade-style experience that harkens back to the classic 'eat or be eaten' games of the early internet. It’s incredibly simple: you are a small fish in a big pond, and you need to eat anything smaller than you to grow. The controls are fluid, allowing for the precise movements needed to weave through a school of larger fish.
While it lacks the complexity of modern RPGs or shooters, its simplicity is its strength. It's the perfect game for a five-minute break, offering immediate satisfaction as you watch your fish grow from a tiny speck to the king of the ocean. Tips & Walkthrough
Stay near the edges of the screen during the first few levels. This gives you more time to react when a larger fish enters the area, allowing you to safely pick off the tiny snacks until you are big enough to defend yourself.
Gameplays
The faster you eat, the faster you grow, but rushing into a school of fish can often lead to a collision with a predator hidden in the pack. Take your time and focus on one target at a time to ensure a long run.

Fun but needs a lot of improvement
Thu Jul 21 2022 Dave the game inventorNo way to pause. Difficult to tell if you can eat the other fish if it is too close. At least put numbers on the fish so I could tell if I could win in a collision. Music is annoying and repetitive. If you reach a point where you can eat every other fish, there is no ending and the fish keeps expanding. At least with the computer version there was an ending point.
Poor controls

It might take a little to gain some speed but you could at least tap the arrow in the direction you would like to go a few times and it would help you narrowly avoid fish. This game you have to slam the controls in the direction you would like to go just to try making it move a little which ends up being far more than intended. I get it’s supposed to be a difficult game but there should be some sort of sensitivity setting or on screen keys to allow you to tap in the direction you would like to go when trying to have more minute adjustments. The current controls make it near impossible for the precise movements that were achievable on the computer. PLEASE fix controls. I would pay more if there were better controls.
Outdated but fun
Fri Apr 01 2022 Shippo14Still as fun as remember as a kid. Downside is the game was free back then yet now that we pay money for it, they can’t update it??? Is it too much to ask for a pause button, high-scores menu/leaderboards, some sound options (that little burp is so satisfying but it’s drowned out by the loud music), and lastly the hit marker is too big/buggy (at times I can slip through just fine and other times there is clearly still space between my fish and the other yet it’s game over). Please update! These issues can’t be that hard to fix

Granted it was only .99 but if you pay for an app it should work....right? Please fix, thanks! I take it back. This game is awesome and just as I remember. App doesn’t work on iPad but works fine on phone.
Good port but it has no end
Wed Jan 24 2018 gtutorAfter you eat all the fish on the screen, it doesn’t let you win, you just keep getting bigger. I’m at 500,000 points and looking at a couple pixels of a fin lol, wonder how much longer it will go on.

Brings back memories
Tue Aug 07 2018 Hg12312Just got over 16 million on classic with a massive fishy before I gave up lol. Just now giving normal game a try, loving it. Makes me feel like I’m back in school ignoring the teacher during keyboarding playing fishy against friends to see who gets bigger before getting caught. Great game, glad to see on App Store.
Nostalgic
