Fill Wooden Block Puzzle 8x8 is a classic block-matching game with a beautiful natural aesthetic. Drag and drop various block shapes onto the grid to create full lines either vertically or horizontally. Once a line is formed, it disappears, freeing up space for more blocks. Fill Wooden Block Puzzle is a fantastic iteration of the classic 8x8 block puzzle genre. The wooden aesthetic isn't just a visual choice; it gives the game a warm, tactile feel that is much more relaxing than the neon-soaked versions of the same concept. It’s the perfect 'zen' game.
The logic required to keep the board from filling up is deceptively simple but grows in complexity as you aim for high scores. It’s a great way to exercise spatial awareness. There’s no timer, which I appreciate—it allows you to really think through your placements. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to start and very, very hard to put down.

Always try to keep a space open for the large 3x3 square block. It's the most common game-ender. Don't just focus on clearing one line; try to set up 'combos' where one block clears multiple lines at once for a massive score boost.
Gameplays
Your score increases with every block placed and every line cleared. Focus on clearing multiple lines simultaneously to earn bonus points. The game tracks your personal best, so you're always competing against yourself.

Mon Dec 24 2018 Mc tunaTL;DR - well made game for free, but more expensive than I’m used to to remove ads. Developers seem honest and hardworking. Clearly not native English speakers with some English mistakes in the app, but that doesn’t matter. It’s super cool that there are 4 different modes - hard, rotate, normal, and bomb. It keeps things interesting. I think they are asking for a little too much to remove ads, though. The maximum I’ve ever paid to remove ads from an app permanently was $6, not $15! From a marketing perspective, making subscription options for ad removal in addition to the permanent ad removal option was a good idea, but I’m skeptical as a consumer. I don’t think I will be paying for that.

Enjoyment I’ve really enjoyed this game so far. I’ve downloaded multiple other games like this, and each one was just missing something. Then, I found this game, and I instantly knew what the missing piece was. Modes! This game has bomb mode, hard mode, rotate mode, and classic mode. I found this very appealing when I wanted to try something different. My favorite mode is rotating, because you have the ability to spin blocks around so they fit just right into a space. So satisfying! 3. Ads Unlike other games that had an ad pop up every second, this one hardly has any ads at all. It makes the experience so much better when I can play the game and not watch an ad on another game. 4. Over all This is over all just a great game. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up, because this game gets five stars!

Sun Feb 17 2019 B3cky11I love this game for so many reasons. One reason is that there are different types of wood puzzle games. Normally, those games only have one type, but this one has four! Another reason why this is a nice game is that there are no glitches. Again, most games have to many glitches. Another reason is that there are not many ads! Most free games that I get are more like a pool of ads instead of an actual game, but this one barely has any! A final reason is that the music in the background is kind of cool. So thanks for reading. I recommend this game. It’s pretty fun! 👍😍
Commercial ads all the sudden longer
Fri Jun 14 2019 JacPamLove this puzzle game and have been playing for quite awhile. The ads have always been short and then you play on. But suddenly we have long ad commercials between each play where you could not play or when your finger accidentally hits the bottom of the screen and it zooms of in the middle of the play. You need to shorten them back up or take that line on the bottom off the screen during play, or both! And those ads are played repeatedly!!! Again, love the game, but will be playing it less with these half minute commercials. Would be nice if the game could be turned on the screen, so I didn’t have to play sideways!
SUPER ADDICTING but
Sun Nov 03 2019 SV45I gave it 4 stars because it’s a really good game. The problem is the $15 I paid to remove ads forever. Yes yes yes I shouldn’t pay it nor did I have to but I wanted to because the ads got ridiculous. They’re long and you have to wait for them to completely play until you can exit the ad. I decided, screw it I’m playing the $15. I could not stand those ads. It’s just way too much to get rid of ads. I understand $3 maybe even $4 but $15 is way too much. I already paid for it so there’s nothing I can do but I would like the price change and maybe less annoying ads. Maybe ads you can quickly exit out of.

Tue Nov 09 2021 sixfootbevI originally deleted this game app because of the frustrating ads. There were several complaints about the same thing. I play games to relax from frustrations of the day. The developers listened and made adjustments when an ad would run. I absolutely love being able to choose when I see an ad. In fact, I find myself enduring the irritating ads because of the greater reward at the end… a power up!! Great job developers!
Scam—I want my money back!
Mon Mar 30 2020 roseofsharon1980When I first downloaded and played this game I got addicted. The ads were annoying as hell, but I could not get away from them his game. At that time, they gave you the option to stop ads by paying $2 to $4. I paid for that option which completely turned it off and my game was ad-free for a about a year or so...until last year that is (a few months ago to be exact). Now all of a sudden I have to watch 5 ads in order to turn off the ads for ONLY TWO HOURS A DAY! If I have to watch ads, after paying for the app to get rid of ads to begin with, then I at least deserve my money back. You don’t need my support anymore if you are leaning on the support of ads. Please contact me to tell me how can I get my money back!
What I would like to see changed
Tue Aug 27 2019 mam-mamWhen I think I can make space for a 6x6 and can’t and the game “wins” they take away my score and put me at zero again, leaving the “high” score. I deleted it off my iPhone for this reason. I know I can exchange a large or non-fitting block into a single small block but if I don’t do it before the next to last block I’m out and lose my score. Grrr. The game itself is fun if you choose the rotating blocks. If it weren’t for this I outdone give it a five star rating.
