FarmVille 3 is a breath of fresh air for the franchise. The biggest change is the focus on animals rather than just crops, which makes the farm feel so much more alive. Each animal breed has specific products they provide, and the breeding mechanic—seeing the stork deliver a new baby animal—is genuinely cute. The graphics are a huge step up; everything is rendered in beautiful 3D, and the farmhands you hire have real personality.
The gameplay loop is very satisfying. You’re constantly unlocking new breeds, from common cows to exotic reindeer. It manages to capture that classic FarmVille charm while modernizing the mechanics to feel less like a chore and more like a creative project. There’s a lot of depth in how you layout your farm to be efficient. For anyone who loves management sims or grew up with the original, this is the definitive version of the farm-life fantasy.

The key to progress is breeding! When you have two animals of the same breed, you can produce a baby that might be a higher rarity. Rare animals produce better resources. Make sure to build enough 'Animal Homes' to keep up with your growing population. Also, keep an eye on your Farmhands' energy—assign them to tasks that match their expertise (like lumberjacking or cooking) to maximize efficiency.
Gameplays
Balance your crop production with your animal needs; you'll need wheat and corn to make feed. Use the 'Order Board' to sell your products for coins and experience. As you level up, you can clear debris to expand your territory and discover new buildings like the Bakery or the BBQ Shack to create even more valuable goods.

Needs to tweak a few things
Wed Jan 12 2022 pinkcow4000First of all love the game but having to get stickers to level your people up doesn’t make a difference in what they do and there are some that are hard to get. Second don’t make the trees wither after three plucking of the apples or other trees so that we have to constantly buy the trees at 400 hundred each time and it doesn’t effect the energy they use to clear things up and adjust the prices of selling items I had to sell all of my stuff just to buy what I needed then start again. Getting the tools to up grade is hard too and adjust cooking times and making the weeds and stones grow so quickly is a little much so hope you can fix things soon because really do enjoy it! Wish ya’ll would hurry up and fix the problems now some of my animals don’t go together when they are suppose to be and getting the babies is hard and getting tired of getting the same orders and have the stuff disappear when I make before I go to bed and it would be gone when I get back on really do like the game but when you have to sell everything a few times to get the stuff you need and run out of energy makes people not want to play anymore! Ya’ll need to fix the exotic quest because I’m on chapter 10 and none of my animals are high enough to do it I’ve been stuck on it for a month now! You should be able to do them instead of being stuck in the same spot because ya’ll made it impossible to do it all my animals are level eight and I have friends that theirs is nines and tens and they can’t do their quest either so please start fixing things !

Wed Nov 01 2023 MIsmyselfThis game offers different styles of play. You can choose routine tasks to relax or you can participate in different challenges for more variety/fun. Some tasks are hard to achieve and there are different prize levels so if you give it a chance you can usually come away with something to show for it. You can individualize your farm and rearrange it whenever you choose, although this could be time consuming depending on how much change you’d like at one. Every now and then the game may have some glitches but it usually operates pretty smoothly. My biggest complaint is with the functionality of the Sky Race store points. For example I just spent almost two days on a task, only for the game to fail to add the earned points for the store, which puts me out of the window to earn the items toward having a cohesive farm design in the style of the current event. I have contacted the game numerous times to notify them, but the issue keeps happening and they don’t usually respond. In prior iterations of the game, there was better support and to compensate you for your loss or frustration, they would award what you missed or make it up with in game gifts. One time they did ask for my player information but nothing came of it. Another time they responded that I didn’t provide the information so they assumed the issue was fixed. The issue doesn’t happen every Sky Race but it has happened often for me. Yes I have rebooted the game and my phone. The game has a lot to offer but follow through when something doesn’t work would be nice.
Awesome but needs some fixes
Mon May 13 2024 @*>I love this game. It is so much fun and the community on here is great. Growing crops, crafting goods and helping others in your co-op is so much fun. Completing boat orders to earn things in a fun side quest and once you’re able to sky race it’s really fun. However, the animal quest are so difficult to move past levels. I’m in a level 43 farm and I am still stuck on level 8 on animal quest. It’s far to expensive and take too many elixirs to even level up your animal a little. The parts needed to upgrade your barn and silo capacity count toward your inventory and once you get up in levels it begins to take 12 each of everything to upgrade. So if you have a barn capacity of 160, you need to have 36 spaces available for just the barn upgrade parts, then you also have to factor in the silo parts. I don’t think they should count towards your inventory much in the same way elixirs don’t. The weather station seems to have some bugs too… I’ll activate it to grow my crops faster and it doesn’t work, same thing with trying to get goods or other things to speed up. It’s especially frustrating when trying to complete boat orders or do the sky race. Having side events during sky race and filling board orders and boat orders can be kinda overwhelming with trying to complete everything. It feels like too much going on at once. I love this game though. Play it everyday and always enjoy accomplishing tasks.
Good game but needs some adjustments
Thu Sep 14 2023 MalhaOhmeiI like the game a lot, it’s really good and there is a lot to do and there are always events which is nice. My issues are exotic animals and decorating the farm. There needs to be a better way to edit and move items. Like the fences, you have to move each piece one at a time and if you have 100 pieces of fence, your clicking and holding to the drag and drop 100 pieces. You can’t zoom out very farm so you only see a little bit of the farm and have to wait for the screen to move while your trying to drag and drop each piece. Exotic animals are dumb, the houses for them take up a lot of space and they don’t do anything for the farm other than help get a couple items needed to make other things. It takes a lot to lvl them. It’s ridiculous how much gold has to be spend to lvl them just a tiny bit. It needs adjusted and made easier to lvl the animals for exotic quests. There are tons of lvls for exotic missions and I’m stuck on lvl 11. I have probably spend close to 100k gold just trying to lvl a couple of exotic animals. Evolving them is ridiculous too. Even more gold you have to spend to lvl them. Gold is hard enough to save in the game as everything costs so much. Just to build a leather shop is 20k. You won’t be able to get very far in this game unless you can spend real money on diamonds to turn into gold and use on other things. I’ve gotten to lvl 46 and have had to spend plenty of real cash to get to that lvl.

Fri Nov 19 2021 Victimized by F**keryIsn’t the whole point of a leveling system, to be able to eventually use your energy more efficiently. It’s pretty ridiculous that the three things you need the most level up with you. What the point in leveling farm hands if the consumption is going to get more and more the harder you grind. There’s no winning. You’re simply creating another maddening algorithm to cause players to have to buy gems to spend on materials to hopefully get enough farm hand cards to level up just so they can have to spend more money to level up again. The game is already a money pit. Plus, y’all removed my last review which was about the quest system. Kind of funny how you have such high ratings. Guess that’s easy to accomplish when you remove the lower ratings. This game is friendly to people that have lives and want something fun to play. I’m all about throwing a little money in to a game to get the upper hand. But There’s no end to this games ability to empty your wallet. Why would anyone spend money to end up in a harder position then before. It’s only worth my money if I get to feel like I’m accomplishing something. Which I don’t, when the logs on the ground level up with me?!? This one aspect is absolutely crazy. Give it a break. This game is probably worth millions already. Let players feel like they didn’t waste there money just to get beat by a weed they can pull without using a days worth of in game energy which cost a ridiculous amount of gems to refill.

Tue Nov 16 2021 JennyLovesCoffeeLet me start off by saying I DO enjoy the game. However there are some things that prevent it from becoming a GREAT game. 1. Energy. It builds far too slowly and expends far too quickly to be even remotely enjoyable. The trash on the farm collects WAY too quickly in relation to the amount of energy you have to expend. 1A - the sparkly movable trash helps some, but not nearly enough. 1B - gaining stamps to level up your farmhands to help with energy usage is FAR too slow and tedious. Energy needs some serious balancing. 2. Exotic animals. The quests progress too quickly for the power levels of the animals. Some ask for animals you don’t have access to yet, even on the lower level quests. The power level of the quests becomes too hard too quickly. It should be challenging but fun. Right now, it’s only challenging and not very fun. 2A - more plentiful elixirs would help. Less expensive chests would help. Making it easier to get the types of animals you need (i.e. jungle which I haven’t seen ONCE) would help. It shouldn’t be tedious but it is. 3. MONEY. Everything is very expensive. Working for things is one thing but the ways to make money are extremely limited. Not much more to say about that. On to the good. Thank you for not making us HAVE to rely on friends. That’s an awful mechanic and it needs to be done away with. I love the animals. I love the graphics. If some of the issues above were addressed, and they made it less “pay to win”, it would easily be a 5 star game.
It was fun until level 83
Fri Feb 03 2023 wickedjennyI enjoyed playing this game for a few months and spent countless hours and a bit of $$ playing…yes if you want to advance your going to have to spend some $$ at some point. I enjoyed the community of the co-op and competitive nature of sky races but I could never understand why our co~op high level players kept quitting…until I reached level 83. No more land expansions. After opening plot 82 you have barely enough room for a productive farm forget about having any space for those items you work so hard to win or any creativity in laying out said farm. Also you start to realize that Those level 12 animals you spent months attaining.. well when you get two of them they breed, the two you have disappear and you end up with just one of the exact same level 12 animal. I couldn’t believe it when it happened. Seems punitive not rewarding. I felt truly defeated. Im level 84 now and Im completely bored with the game. The only reason I have played the last few weeks is bc I feel obligated to my co-op. There’s nothing really to work for or look forward to when you can no longer expand and knowing what I know now about breeding animals …it seems rather pointless in the end. It feels like I have reached the end of the game. If Zynga allowed players to keep expanding, I would continue playing and Probably would give the game 4 stars regardless of the frustrating bits. But as it is now I probably won’t be playing come this time next week. What’s the point?
Too Much Going On - Forcing Ads
Thu Oct 16 2025 Rachael9390I’ve been playing for less than a month and already think I’m going to delete the app. What should be an enjoyable game focused on raising animals, growing crops, fulfilling orders and working with your coop on sky races to earn fun prizes and decorations has become a crazy hodgepodge of a number of different tasks/events going at the same time. As I write this there are five events outside of your regular order board, visitor requests, boat orders, sky race and exotic animal orders. Sure, you don’t have to participate in them but you bet that game will remind you about the events going on every time you open the app. Not to mention the now 2 ads you have to watch everyday to complete your daily tasks. I also hate the new animal sanctuary thing they have now (what happened to having them just on your farm?). You now have to save up a ridiculous amount of items (and spend your coins) in order to expand the land in your sanctuary. This takes up a crazy amount of space in your barn. It’s getting impossible to save items for that expansion and save items to upgrade your barn and silo and collect items to just simply play the game. Clearly they are hoping to push people to spend actual money on this silly app by making it nearly impossible to keep up with all the expanding and building you need to do to keep up with your experience level. Simply put, the game isn’t enjoyable and has way too much going on.
