This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Can you believe the first Farm Sounds came out in 2009? We've completely rewritten the app to support new devices so you shouldn't have any problems in the future. We also swapped in new high resolution images wherever possible. Enjoy!
Farm Sounds is a delightful, straightforward utility/game for parents with young toddlers. It’s not trying to be a complex simulation; it’s a high-quality digital soundboard that keeps kids engaged. The high-resolution photos are a nice touch, and the animal sounds are clear and recognizable.
The addition of mini-games like the memory match and 'Which Animal?' adds some much-needed longevity to the app. While it’s quite simple, it’s a perfect distraction during car rides or waiting rooms. My only gripe is the interface can feel a bit dated, but for a child between 1 and 4, it works exactly as intended.
14 Farm Animals
High-res photos
Memory matching game
Voice recording feature
Multi-language support
Tap on an animal photo to hear its sound. Use the settings to enable random order or disable swiping for younger children.
Play 'Memory Match' to find pairs of animals, or use the 'Make Me an Animal' feature to record your own voice and take silly photos.
Yes, the 'Make Me an Animal!' mode allows you to take photos and record your own sounds.
My 18 month old daughter is really enjoying this app. I especially like the feature thaT requires the child to discriminate animal sounds. The only things I am not pleased about are: 1. There is some sort of glitch when playing the match game. All of incorrect matches sound like the llama. So if you choose the chicken, it sounds like a llama. This totally defeats the purpose. I really hope they come out with an update to fix this problem. 2. I didn't see the option for ordering the entire pack for 1.99 before purchasing the farm pack. I would have liked to do that instead of just the farm pack. Oh well.
Their website only had trouble shooting for earlier versions of iOS. However, after contacting them they emailed me very quickly and gave me a suggestion for ios 12. After a quick google search on where to find the mute button I was all set and working again. My son loves this app, glad I was able to get it to work on my home device.
I wrote a review before saying that I wanted my money back because there was no sound. I had my iPad on mute. Once I figured that out..the sound was awesome, my kids love it!
My kids, and I, love this app as well
I've purchased this twice! Each time I try to use this it states I need to upgrade and repurchase. I don't think this is working correctly, and want my money back. Or you are ripping people off. I had to give it a star in order for this to submit.
Obviously something wrong with my download, or the app itself. No sound, even with phone volume on full blast. Needless to say, with no sound it's boring at best and occupies my toddler for a nanosecond. Waste of money.
My 19 month old son loves animals and this app is great!
I’ve tried everything! There’s no sound. :(
