If you've ever watched a movie like '21' and thought you could take on Vegas, Expert Card Counting is the reality check—and training ground—you need. This isn't a casino game where you play for virtual chips; it’s a focused, professional-grade drill tool. It’s designed to help you master systems like Hi-Lo and Halves without the distraction of fancy graphics or 'gamified' nonsense. The minimalist interface is a huge plus because it forces you to focus on the numbers and the cards.
The inclusion of a 'Speed Training' mode is where the app really shines. It’s easy to count cards when you have all day, but this app simulates the rapid-fire pace of a real dealer. The analytics after each session are incredibly detailed, showing your true count accuracy and reaction times. It’s a niche app, but for anyone serious about learning the math behind Blackjack, it’s one of the best tools available. It’s essentially a personal trainer for your brain.

Choose your preferred counting system (e.g., Hi-Lo) and the number of decks. Start the drill and tap the screen as cards appear to maintain the running count. The app will verify your 'True Count' at the end.
Cards are dealt at a rapid pace, challenging the user to keep an accurate count under pressure. This mode helps build the muscle memory needed for real casino play.
Both. It includes the simple Hi-Lo system for beginners and the more complex Halves system for experienced players.
I believe there is a calculation flaw in the true count conversion and I hope the developers will fix it. Usually the running count is divided by the number of decks remaining, so in an 8 deck game during the first 52 cards you would need a running count of 8 to have a true count of 1. However in this app the calculation is cut in half, where if you have a running count of 4 in the first deck of an 8 deck shoe it displays a true count of 1. This is the case for both the Hi-Lo counting system, and the Wong Halves. I hope someone who can change this reads it and fixes that issue. Other than that it’s a great app.
I enjoy this app but was wondering. Does this app work on an apple watch as well as my iphone?
used to get destroyed at the casino and playing with my friends. had to take out a loan on my crib. then i started using this and my life changed forever
