• Added household selection when moving, including the family members who accompany each person.

• Residents now ask before moving a spouse and dependent family into your own household, but not while you live in your childhood home.

• Siblings now leave the childhood home between ages 18 and 20. Invited roommates no longer move out randomly.

• Added Timed Cards settings: Default (8 seconds), Slower (12 seconds), and Slowest (16 seconds).

• Newly applied hair dye now lasts five in-game years, remaining at full color for the first half before gradually fading.

• Added a compact Action Menu category view. Tap Categories again to switch between detailed and compact layouts.

• Reorganized Care, Homes, and Vehicles, added useful shortcuts, and clarified locked family planning options.

• Improved the Move screen with town names and icons, selection highlights, and property keep/sell labels.

Everlife 2 is a sequel worthy of it’s name. I played the first game a lot but it often felt repetitive which made the game annoying sometimes. The changes in Everlife 2 attempt to fix that. By allowing your character to have individual relationships, you have the chance to have different lives & stories even if you play as a nice person every life. In this game your relationships are much more front and center which I really like. Your family & friends affect your life even if you don’t interact with them proactively. There’s a charm in this game I haven’t felt in this genre in a while. It’s more about living life than making money and doing crazy stuff. The generations aspect is really well done too! I normally don’t use that part of these games but even if you pass over to an adult it feels like they have somewhat of a life and great grandkids ensure that you’ll have someone young to pass to too. I won’t lie it still has some of the issues of the first game, the cards are still a bit repetitive and there isn’t much incentive for you to play differently to how you usually do but if you enjoy life sims you are somewhat used to this (unfortunately) Ultimately, this is a great game and it’s worth the five stars and DLC!!!

A life sim with personality

I’m early in Everlife 2, but it’s made a great first impression. The art is charming, character creation has lots of options, and the little jokes give the writing personality. Being able to continue a family’s story across generations is what I’m most excited to explore. I really appreciate that it works offline, doesn’t require an account, and has no waiting timers or currencies to buy. It’s also encouraging to see the developer actively answering questions and responding to player feedback. Clearer explanations of starting stats and how traits unlock would make getting started even smoother. There’s a lot of care here, and I’m looking forward to seeing where my character’s life goes!

Amazing Game in Development

Super rich game that is free to play! The developer is also super friendly, receptive to feedback, and fast with implementing bug fixes. The community is also cool too. Overall great game that will only get better! While the mechanics are similar to BitLife, the vibes of this game are far more cozy. The music is sweet and soothing, and the sound effects remind me of Animal Crossing. You can also restore purchases from Everlife 1 very easily, so you have all of your old expansion packs. The cute aesthetic combined with the active developer and the charming community make this game perfect for me :)

I think Everlife 2 is the best life simulation game released since BitLife and honestly, I like it even more! It’s immersive, fun, and has a lot of potential. The only thing that confuses me is that you can purchase multiple vehicles, but for some reason, you can’t see each vehicle individually as its own asset. The same goes for properties you purchase. It would be great to have a dedicated assets section where you can view everything you own. Overall, fantastic game!

The creator didn’t completely change the game—the things I loved about the original are still there, just upgraded and I love it. My only cons are it’s a little buggy (to be expected—for example, I’d ended a friendship with someone and dialogue from them still kept popping up)—and it would be cool if the option to start dating showed up in the “Love” tab (I believe that I had to click on a partner/ex’s name to go on a date). Other than that, absolutely no complaints. Strongly considering getting a few of the expansion packs.

I’m very surprised by this game. I haven’t played a sim game in this category that rivals bitlife!! You guys keep this up and you’ll most likely be huge, this is the most entertaining game omg I’ve played for hours and I usually don’t review only rate but this game is an exception. Only critic which yall will most likely update is repetitive stories, not enough variety in sayings but also I do know this is a newer game!! I have such high hopes!!!

Some Improvement from 1, but AI??

While it’s an improvement from the first game, it’s not too much different. There’s definitely still a lot more they could add to improve it, but it’s not bad, it’s definitely an upgrade. My only real complaint is that a lot of the dialogue sounds like it was written with AI. I don’t have any legitimate evidence of this other than from experience as I used to be someone who used AI constantly, and can see the same patterns being used in the writing

I’m gonna have to give this game a 5/5 stars considering i’ve been playing Everlife 1 for a good bit, and this is just a massive improvement. The game is more real, gives you your restored purchases from game 1. Just overall a really good game. Especially if you love a life simulator game! It’s amazing and thank you, single-handedly for making these amazing games for me and everyone else.
