Epic Stickman RPG: Idle War is surprisingly deep for a game featuring stick-figure protagonists. It leans into the 'power fantasy' aspect of RPGs, where your character starts as a basic stick with a wooden sword and eventually becomes a glowing god of destruction. The idle mechanics are very fair; you actually feel like you're making progress while the app is closed, and coming back to a pile of legendary loot is always a rush.
What I appreciated most was the equipment system. Every piece of armor you equip actually changes your stickman's appearance, which is a nice touch often ignored in idle games. The combat is flashy, with screen-clearing special effects and satisfying sound design. There’s a lot of content here—from the main campaign to the 'Infernal Gates' dungeon—making it a great choice for players who want an RPG experience without the 40-hour-a-week commitment.
Dynamic auto-battle combat
Over 1000 items and gear combinations
Visual character progression and evolution
Massive skill tree with diverse playstyles
When your progress slows down, use the 'Rebirth' feature. You'll start back at level 1, but you'll gain 'Holy Stones' that provide permanent damage multipliers, allowing you to blast through previous stages in seconds.
Enter the Shadow Dungeon for a 5-minute timed challenge. The more enemies you kill, the better the rarity of the gear chests you'll receive at the end.
There is no hard cap! Your stickman can continue to grow stronger indefinitely through the Rebirth system.
if you plan on getting this game, I would suggest not wasting your time on any of the health upgrades because health just doesn’t work only focus your upgrades into anything that has attack or damage, for your traits you want all humans base attack, for the summons you want to only focus putting gems into skills. The best current hero is Gante. The 6 skills you want are Domain Expansion, Demon Conjurer, Cosmic Explosion, Sacred Summoning, Sacred Sweod, and Minion Army. With the rings you want a beast ring with high critical damage, attack, and skill cooldown. On the hero mastery and ascension you want to only focus attack based things. Put nothing into health because it doesnt work. Relics you want Potion of Eternal, Blue Moon, Cat Mask, Book of Black Magic, Wind Totem, Ruby, and Ring of Okcyenazn. Pets you want 3 crows, a owl, and whatever else. For artifacts you want everything that can help damage, critical damage, and hero attack. Try to max out your Zodiac Chart as well. Thats the best advice I have for new players!! Good Luck out there -Dragonborn
I want to say that the game concept is a great concept, and that the game is a pretty good game. However, there needs to be some updates to the game. First off, there’s too much ambiguity behind some of the functions to the game. It would be great if there was an info button next to the stats to show what each attribute does. For example, there’s a stat called double slash in the game and it has a maximum level level you have to reach in order to unlock triple slash. What is double slash, and what is the maximum level you must reach in order to unlock triple slash? The game just doesn’t answer these questions. So please fix the ambiguity of the game. Secondly, either stop lying about the percentage upgrade or fix the percentage upgrades that you get. For example, You can grind and choose to get an upgrade of a 200% increase in attack damage or health. However, when you finally unlock that 200% increase in a stat, your stats don’t increase in proportion to the percentage boost you were supposed to get. Instead it’ll just upgrade maybe 2% instead of the promised 200%. These are just a few of the issues. And this review is from someone who’s played the game for a while. Devs please hear from your community, it’s the best way to keep the game fun and enjoyable!!!
This game is a very fun game and I love the feature of the sleep mode and I love how steel attack while you’re gone and plus it’s so fitting whenever you have good music on and so many good characters and I love the feature cause I thought you only had to tap to level up stuff, but then I realized that you could hold it which is a very good feature cause now my stuff is not out 1000 because of it this is why and the owner if you’re reading this good job on this game and please have a reply on this if you love this review cause it’s the best game I’ve ever played Trust me. It’s very good. I recommend it five stars cause of how good it is and I love how to idle too.
It is pay to win to get good heroes and it has been nothing to me while I was grinding. The coolest thing about this game would be literally the background maps and the abilities. It takes 16 hours to get one of three new heroes, never mind you have to pay gems and then.. wait another 16 hours. And again. And again. And again. And again. Only to find a hero which is relatively weak and the picture for the hero with the cool pose and the spear or claws or hammer and hair and eyes isn’t there, all you get to see in battle is the color of that Stickman and its weapon. That’s all. Not to mention you get stuck constantly. That’s all I need to say, and there’s worse things about this game. That being said, awful. Garbage game. Don’t waste your time. Try bounty bash though, it’s an actually fun non-pay-to-win pirate simulator with cool backgrounds and great graphics and isn’t laggy and the ads are entirely optional. Sometimes you don’t even need them. All your upgrades are cosmetic and some are actually plastered into the real battle so you can see your hard work. There’s some other stuff but I’m getting carried away, you get the idea anyway.
The game is certainly quite fun. It’s satisfying to level up, get stronger, collect gear, so on. Ads are minimal (and only encountered by choice), which in todays day and age of apps, is a MASSIVE relief. The issue I have is the difficulty spike. Like most of these side scroller level up games, it’s got dungeons, which gives you stuff to level up and get stronger. The issue is that the difficulty spike between the levels is abrupt and rather absurd. I find myself stuck on one level for days on end, when I haven’t even been playing the game for a full week. This difficulty and lack of being able to progress makes me lose interest quickly. I’ll log on for a few minutes at most each day to just claim my daily, upgrade some things and then hope that maybe now I can pass this level, only to fall short because of the difficulty. I do like this game quite a bit so far, the music is nice, game play is simple and straight forward. But the difficulty spike needs to be fixed.
I acknowledge and understand the necessity for companies/individuals to generate revenue through ads and paywalls. It is a universal reality that expenses must be accounted for, and I support this. However, I have reached level 130 with my character, having made several ascensions, yet I find myself stagnating at 107 MP without any further MP gained from leveling for an extended period. Not even a paywall appears to remedy this situation, and my damage output remains ineffective whilst having almost 5,000 in all primary stats. Meanwhile, I struggle to progress past levels 7-3 and 21 in dungeons, respectively. At this juncture, one must recognize the absurdity of the circumstances, which seemingly necessitate a considerable financial investment to move forward. This highlights an important issue: generating revenue without compromising customer satisfaction and facilitating substantial growth in earnings is possible. The current model, unfortunately, feels exploitative, rendering the money I have spent and the time I have invested seemingly futile. Until such time as your company decides to address these concerns—if that is indeed the intention—I find myself unable to recommend this product with any sense of integrity. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Ive seen other people review this and i havent tried this game in awhile but everytime i do i wonder why its rated so highly, the game is great dont get me wrong and the ads arent forced mostly but a 4.9 star for a game that is just like other idle games. You level up quick at first and then are bound to come to a halt where it immediately makes the game unplayable without watching a ton of ads or buying stuff/being on the game a ridiculous amount of time for one upgrade i have doubts that any company reads reviews but if they do a playerbase for this game is kids and people with little time i assume because its a idle game and a stick figure game you could slow down early game progression with a new mechanic without changing anything to extend the life of the long term by even a few days in real time and you have to make it so you dont just get hit with a unbreakable wall of currency needed to upgrade it should be about the gameplay not the money because if people like the gameplay they’ll spend there money
The gameplay itself is awesome. The art style, the animations are smooth, etc. The issue lies with the ads the game throws at you… The devs have made the choice to lock EVERYTHING behind full, unskippable, 30 second ads. Want to complete your daily quests and get the reward for the work you already did? Watch an ad. Want to finish your progression story quest by completing the dungeons that are already gated by time-limited keys? Watch an ad EVERY time you want to enter the dungeon. I don’t understand why you’d make such a good game and find one of the most awful ways to implement ads. I understand wanting compensation for making an incredible game, but there have to be better ways to monetize. The way it’s done here just feels detrimental to the consumer and is such a bad practice that I’d hate to see spread through the already heavily monetized gaming community.
