Performance improvements for game resource loading
Duper brings a fresh spin to mobile turn-based strategy by placing diplomacy right alongside board positioning. The game's futuristic aesthetic and slick interface draw you in immediately, but the mental gymnastics of deciding when to help a neighbor or backstab them is where the real magic happens.
There is a bit of a learning curve due to the layers of territory scoring and resource systems, but the built-in tutorials and bot matches soften the entry barrier significantly. Once you get a handle on the rules, matches are full of tense moments and hilarious tactical twists.
Unique social-diplomacy mechanic allowing player alliances and betrayals
Turn-based tactical grid combat with strategic resource management
Futuristic art design accompanied by crisp sci-fi sound effects
Interactive tutorial and comprehensive in-game wiki for learning mechanics
Single-player bot practice modes alongside live online multiplayer
In early turns, focus on securing resource tiles near your start zone before expanding toward central strategic points. Use the practice bot mode to master tile control math before entering live matches, and form temporary pacts with neighbors to pressure the current score leader.
Matches take place on a grid map where players take turns moving units, capturing territories, and spending resource points. Simultaneously, social interactions allow players to form informal alliances or double-cross former allies at pivotal turns to seal victory.
Yes, Duper includes a step-by-step guided tutorial, an in-game wiki, and bot modes to help players learn the mechanics before playing live opponents.
Duper is super fun to play. It’s unique from other apps and stands out in comparison to details and design. Has a great hook!! There is a great intro where it gives you step by step instructions for the first few rounds until you really get the hang of it. The game is challenging enough to keep you hooked and want to improve but fun enough to make you want to stay. It’s one of those addicting games where you want your level to increase rapidly. I highly recommend!!
I really want to have high hopes for this game. It’s strategic and also adds social deduction and the ability to work for or against players and the payout system is really cool with you splitting the prize amongst players. However the game needs to be wayyyyy easier to process and understand. The tutorial is lacking hard, if it doesn’t glitch out it doesn’t explain things clearly so that is automatically a huge turn off to players. I didn’t even know I could buy units on other peoples turns. The game also seems to suffer from bots tho idk if that’s because I’m still new. They say the exact same thing and try to trade the same way every game. I also don’t see the point in the central 5th alien players as that person is almost guaranteed to lose every single game. It has the bones of a good game but it definitely needs tweaked and worked out to make sense and actually bring any players in. I hope future updates will make this easier and better.
This seems like such a cool concept and I'll come back in a few months and try it again because I really do like the idea however once I tried to launch on my iPhone 17 Max Pro I was stuck in loading for over 20 minutes I got annoyed and shut it off delete the app reloaded the app onto my phone and try it again. It did not work the second time either it was stuck on the loading screen so I just deleted it. Hopefully this gets resolved and I can come back in a few months and there will be more people playing it'll be fun we'll have a good time who knows we'll see. I want to encourage the developers to keep at it this really does seem like a cool idea.
I like the vibe of the game. The sound design is good, main menu is easy to use, overall look is fun. There’s a helpful set of tutorials and a wiki page to easily brush up on any game mechanics (and there are a lot of them). It could still use a bit of work, so I’d be interested in seeing any updates. But overall, it’s a nice game for strategy, with lots of different angles. Once you’re past the learning curve, it could be something you sink hours into.
This game has a very futuristic vibe both visually and with its sound effects, which I thought was pretty cool! I also liked that it actually makes you think about your moves to win instead of just making simple moves that can easily lead to a win. I thought it was also a nice touch that the game has a social aspect, where you can chat and put your diplomacy skills to the test.
I absolutely enjoy strategy games and this was fun. Do not skip the tutorial. Once I got the hang of it I actually started having fun. It’s like you have to think strategically, trade resources, and figure out who you can trust because those alliances can change QUICK! Every match feels different depending on the players, which makes you want to play again and try a new strategy.
This is a really fun turn-based strategy game with a lot more depth than I expected. The tutorial explains everything pretty well, but you still have to play a few games before things really start to click. My favorite part was playing as Red and deciding whether to build alliances or doing hilarious backstabs at the right moment lol. That whole diplomacy aspect is what makes this game stand out for me.
Duper has a really unique turn based mechanism that I’ve not seen in other strategy games. It can feel a bit overwhelming at the beginning cuz there’s a lot to learn. But once you understand how everything works, it does become much more enjoyable. The learning curve is worth it, and mastering diplomacy makes each match feel rewarding.
