Dreams: Let’s Play Story Games is a solid entry in the interactive fiction genre. What sets it apart is the variety of genres available—it’s not just all romance; there are mysteries and thrillers that actually have some stakes. The writing is generally better than many of its competitors, avoiding some of the more eye-rolling clichés you find in 'Choice' games.
The art style is clean and expressive, which helps sell the emotional moments. My main criticism is the diamond system for 'premium' choices. Some of the most interesting story paths are locked behind a paywall, which can be frustrating if you're deeply invested in a character. That said, the free paths are still coherent and enjoyable, making it a decent choice for fans of the genre.

Thu Mar 16 2023 Legendary.soulzThis is the best app I have ever been on! I used to be so deeply into the apps: Choices, chapters, and episodes. But now that I have found this..I am in love. It’s so awesome. Thrilling, and spicy. The fact that you get rewards for being in the app for hours at a time is great because you don’t get that on chapters or etc. but I wished the timer for passes would be a bit faster cause it takes so long and I am eager to see what happens next.🥹

Also, the premium choices shouldn’t cost so much, especially if you’re gonna force us to use all our diamonds on the first story’s premium choice when we download the game. And especially if you’re only gonna reward us 1 diamond every so often. Also, there’s a quest for getting reminders of updates on books, and I haven’t been able to figure it out. It says “Push the book to update” but when I click on different books, there’s never an option to set a reminder for an update. Also, they should give you much better options or more variety of options for premium hair and clothing choices. Maybe these issues are the reason y’all are ranked #87 in roleplay games. Maybe it’s time you start listening to the concerns of your customers. 🤷🏻♀️
All around bad.
Sat Mar 25 2023 JdkandoSo I decided to give this game a try cause I kept seeing ads for it. But now I wish I hadn’t wasted my time. The stories are all over the place, in one chapter they're getting revenge on someone and sleeping with their new guy and then in another chapter they decide they’re ready to get revenge, even though they just did that, and then their scared of sleeping with the new guy as they’ve never been with a man before, even though they’ve slept together 3 times before now. On top of that the spelling errors are insanely bad, and no matter what “choice” you pick it doesn’t matter so you waste gems for no reason. It gives you the option to call the new guy for help or leave him out of it, you choose call him and the story continues and says “but you said you wouldn’t ask him for help so you decide not to call him” therefore you never had a choice in the first place.

Thu Dec 15 2022 Leafeon girlieI love this app but since the newest update I can’t find my books I was reading it doesn’t even give you the buttons on the bottom of the screen like it once did so you can find your books and I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app to see if that would help but it didn’t.

Wed Mar 01 2023 BookLover35<3Stories have horrible grammar and spelling. Almost like it was translated from a different language. Seems like characters lines get mixed up (female character should be saying the line but shows the male character saying it) makes the story confusing. Gives 3 options you chose one but it still includes other options in the story so really didn’t matter what you chose because it was going to say all three (kiss. Slap or spit him) it will do all three not just one. You spend diamonds on a nice outfit but the story mentions you are in a plain wrinkled dress…so a waist of diamonds anyway. Just stick to plain clothes and save diamonds.
Cost way too much

The stories aren’t bad just the grammar is, my only problem is it cost way too many diamonds to make a premium choice and they offer no incentives to wanna do a daily check in like some of the other apps, and the cost they want you to spend vs how little diamonds they give is way too much. Id rather stick with Romance Fate or one of the other ones they don’t cost as much and can actually get through one story then. Such a bummer, I had high hopes for this one 🤷🏼♀️
Love it but…
Tue May 23 2023 add314I love this app but I wish you didn’t have to change your character’s hair every time you’re given the option. For example I’m blind so I like to play blonde characters so when it’s time to pick a new hairstyle sometimes there is no blonde option or even a similar style to what my character has before so I’m stuck playing a character I don’t like the look of in order to continue the story until I can change it again.
Great game but can’t close out the ads.
Tue Apr 11 2023 kme112588I loved this game and fell in love with “Tornado love” , I don’t even mind watching the ads. But when playing on my iPhone 11 the ‘x’ to close out the ad is up by my time in the left hand corner at the top and it won’t let me close out to go back to playing. Sad to say I deleted this app for this reason. Fix it and I’ll come back to playing!
