Drag Racing Pixel is a nostalgic trip for anyone who grew up with 16-bit racers. It takes the classic drag racing formula—shifting at the perfect moment—and wraps it in a beautiful, vibrant pixel-art aesthetic. The customization is the standout feature here; you can tweak almost everything about your car, from the gear ratios to the paint and decals. It feels like a 'love letter' to car culture, specifically the underground racing scene.
The gameplay is simple (tap to shift), but the difficulty comes from the 'tuning' side. You'll need to adjust your car specifically for different distances or surface types. The pixel art animations of the exhaust flames and the city lights blurring past are fantastic. While it can be a bit 'grindy' to get the top-tier parts without spending real money, the core racing loop is so fast and satisfying that I didn't mind the wait. It’s a stylish, focused, and very well-executed racing game.

Mon Jun 26 2023 Doceze099It’s a great game I love it cars sound pretty sick i I’m in to Hondas was gonna ask if there was any way that you guys can put the Honda prelude 5th gen and also add a vtec overlay would be sick but I love the game I do but yeah to much adds would’ve been cool if there was more to it maybe like a campaign or a story but other then that I’ll give the game a 8.5/10 get back to me as fast as you can thanks for letting me be a part of the game🫡
To many ads
Fri Feb 24 2023 CHOCOTEETH1986So if you buy an upgrade you have to either wait for the time for it to be installed, or watch an ad to make it go by faster. (Dumb). Ads after each race, ads when you back out of the tournament. Game would be much more enjoyable with less ads. I could understand ads for installing parts faster, but then get rid of the wait time for the part to be installed.

Tue Jul 18 2023 bede1I could tell from the upgrade menu that who ever made this game has no car knowledge. Can’t rev your engine before a race because there is no countdown and before you know it your accidentally hitting up shift and start the race from second gear. Everytime you go to upgrade something even when first starting out the game, it has you wait a few minutes. I’ve played this game for less then 5 minutes and will be uninstalling. If you want a decent drag racing game, play CSR.

The game seems fun, and has potential, but it has tooooooooo many ads. Make your money a different way. The amount of ads will make you delete this game. What a shame.

Thu May 25 2023 perjhiIt’s a good game on paper the only real problem I have with the game itself is you need to wait to upgrade parts and to skip that you watch an ad not like I already watched an ad just to open up the upgrade menu itself I feel like it’s an EA game but instead of you need to pay to do an action you watch an ad just to press the back or exit button it gets annoying and it makes people not wanna play the game

Thu Apr 06 2023 Foot odor 1020I used to play a game like this back then a few years back. Very Similar decals and etc and stuff. But one day it stopped working for some reason. I dont have the redownload on my AppStore so I assumed the app stopped working and had been taken off the AppStore. Previously I had all the cars and whatnot but I guess same game with different devs or changed name. Anyways too much ads. This game only eats money and as soon as the money stops coming in, I guess it’s bye bye again.

Sun Jul 16 2023 surwinvegaIf you love watching ads. This game is for you! They have ads when you open the game, ads starting the race, of course they have ads after the race. Then they have a cool feature of making the upgrades so small (and affordable) that you have to watch ads to speed up the upgrades. Its smart when you think about it. I'm surprised I didn't have to watch an ad just to write a review.
Greedy Developers & A Pay to Win Game
Tue May 16 2023 mouthfoodIt’s no surprise just by seeing all the other reviews how much of a mess this “game” is. You can’t navigate any of the menu without an ad, and are forced to watch them after every event. The game itself is also built terribly with the lack of an indicator of when the races start, and the “level 1” being extremely hard for no apparent reason.
