The latest version is full of bugs

Unfortunately, the latest version is so bug ridden that it freezes every time I start a game, and every time it crashes my phone too ( I'm on an iPhone 17). It's very frustrating and such a shame because I use it every day and now I'm thinking of replacing it with something that doesn't crash every time. You'd figure they would have addressed the problem right away
Great UX - Inflexible rules & Ads are intolerable!
Thu Dec 25 2025 Jeep TrackhawkLooking for a dominoes game to play with my mother. This is the 4th I’ve downloaded and the first that has a good intuitive interface!! HOWEVER, it forces us to start with a double…we don’t play that way. The single player app we have gives the option not to force a double. Next the dominoes are not straight and create patterns we are not use to…why can’t it just branch 4 directions off the spinner like a real game with real dominos? Or single player app does, so I know it’s possible. It forces 250 points per game which is fine though we play 150, to play more games. No option to change. But the worse, it has an add after every single round and the adds take longer than our round, AND the adds are almost impossible to get out of!! Then we get messages that something went wrong and maybe internet connection was lost…nope, we didn’t, maybe your ads too too long to get us back in the game?? Why not let us “watch” and ad, or 5 ads at the start of a game instead of the end of every round, that are simple and intuitive to end or exit when it’s finished?? Honestly, if the rules were flexible we might buy to remove the ads, even though the dominoes don’t branch in 4 straight directions…
Ad froze the game - deleted
Wed May 14 2025 JLHSAFI accept that some people want to make their money from harassing their users with ads. As a consumer, I have the right to delete the apps whose ads infuriate me. There are a very few apps that I enjoy so much I pay to remove the ads. There are a few more games that I enjoy enough that I tolerate the ads, for a while before I grow so irritated that I delete the app. Then there are apps like this one. As soon as I opened the app for the 1st time ….. AN AD, OF COURSE. I wasn’t even allowed to play all the way through the 1st game when the 5th or 6th ad popped up and there I sat. The ad would not go away. For several minutes, I waited as patiently as I could. When I touched the screen, hoping a button to do something would pop up, nope, I was routed to the ads website! I HATE THIS AND I HAVE NO TOLERANCE FOR THESE TYPES OF ADS! I closed the app, to get away from the ad then I DELETED THE APP. I had the app on my phone less than 5 minutes. No thank you. I have better things to do with my time than sit there watching an ad with no way to get past it. The game was ok, as much as I was able to play, but as with 99% of the apps I delete, the ads were the reason I deleted the app. That is my right as a consumer.
You aren’t always playing with live people
Sun Mar 10 2024 diajeaMy husband and I recently were both playing this same app and ended up with same player against us. Hmm. Got me to wondering from there. So I started trying to question certain players I keep getting over and over. Wondered why they were always on when I was. They never responded either. Now I know some ppl won’t respond. But most would if you ask them if they are computer generated or not. More than half or more of these so-called players on here are fake!!! Computer generated. You are just playing against the computer. That took the fun and competitiveness out of the game to me. Loved the look of the platform but don’t like the sneakiness of these developers to do such a thing. I signed up with this online app to play with real ppl.
The ADs are beyond ridiculous
Thu Sep 02 2021 Redhawk218I had deleted this app and went back to it because I liked it better than the other apps. I am going to have to delete it again. How this game has over 4 stars is beyond me. The ads are out of control! Not only are they constant - AFTER EVERY SINGLE TURN - they are eye-rolling STOOPID, cringe-worthy and unbearable. In one the voice asks how much did you get paid? And the person has a handful of fake bills and says I won $2 thousand something. 🙄🙄 and that’s not even the worse of them. They’re horrid. The ads also lock up and I can’t hit X to get back to my game. If I mess with it long enough I’ve already lost the partner I was playing with and they’re replaced by the computer. Most of the time I can’t get back to my game so I have to close the game out and restart it. I am done.
Glitches and crashes mid game
Sun May 22 2022 meg_s_777It’s really fun and I love the UI, but when you’re playing a tournament, sometimes it’ll crash mid game and then you can’t continue playing your opponent you then have to play the computer. Sometimes, you’ll go to start a round and the board will stay blank until you have to restart the app. Then same thing happens where you’re no longer playing your opponent, but the computer. This is really frustrating because it also messes up your scores with the tournament. This most recent time it happened, I restarted the app and the board still won’t load.
Bad algorithms. Sore losers waste too much time
Sun Apr 20 2025 Wildcat781. Algorithms are messed up. Somehow it favors the player when they’re winning. And I know this because when I also win it favors me as well. That’s not how the game should be won. 2. Sore looser players waste their time because they know “again” the algorithm will side with them. Also, the time for a turn to play is too long. And sometimes it’s not even running. So it should be an automatic disqualification and an automatic win for the other player. 3. How come there are no more than two players in a match? I am not sure that you will correct these issues so I give it about a few days and then I’m going to delete this dominoes app to download a better dominoes app.

Sat Jun 05 2021 BrattyjenIt is very annoying it freezes up constantly it’s not worth it find another app!! I emailed support and then they told me to purchase to remove the ads and that would probably fix it it’s a scam!! And to remove the ads it’s like 70 or $80 no thank you!! See they had one app and it was fine and then a little thing came up and said download our new app so we download the new app and then it’s working fine and then all the sudden you have these difficult problems and then support tells you to purchase to remove the ads I think it’s hilarious and I have the email to prove it!! So I’m on the hunt for a new dominoes game see ya! 🤘🏻
