If you have even a passing interest in the 70s or rhythm games, Disco Star is a pure shot of dopamine. The vibrant, neon-soaked aesthetic is stunning on a mobile screen, and the soundtrack is absolutely top-tier. It's rare to find a rhythm game where the movements on screen actually feel like they're in sync with the 'soul' of the music, but Disco Star nails the groove perfectly.
The customization is surprisingly deep. I spent way too much time unlocking the 'Glitter Jumpsuit' just to see it sparkle under the disco ball. The multiplayer dance-offs add a great competitive edge, but even solo, the loop of hitting a 'Perfect' streak and triggering Fever Mode is incredibly rewarding. It’s high-energy, stylish, and genuinely fun—I haven't stopped humming the main theme since I downloaded it.

Don't just hit the notes; hit them 'Perfectly' to build your Fever Meter. Once full, the Fever Mode doubles your points for 10 seconds.
Different outfits provide different bonuses. The 'Glitter Jumpsuit' makes the 'Perfect' timing window slightly larger for difficult songs.
The game features a mix of licensed disco classics and high-quality original funk tracks.
It would be great if you had September on this game
The game is ok I guess. But for a game that’s based around music, it has no sound. I’ve tried opening and closing the game but that didn’t work.
Cleverly designed brilliant, energetic, exciting game !!!
Lightsabers, pod racers, rampaging monsters and Darth Vader disco? Kinect Star Wars proves to be a strange and largely unsatisfying mash-up...
