Dinosaur Universe is an addictive mix of exploration, resource management, and casual combat that feels like a prehistoric 'survival lite' experience. You play as a small dinosaur in a vast, vibrant world, gathering resources to build up your base and evolve into more powerful forms. The game captures that primal urge to grow from a weak hatchling into an apex predator, and it does so with a very accessible gameplay loop.
The world is divided into distinct biomes, each with its own flora, fauna, and environmental hazards. Combat is simple but satisfying, relying on a 'power level' system that encourages you to scavenge and upgrade before taking on larger bosses. The visual style is charming and colorful, making the dinosaur designs feel more like 'pocket monsters' than terrifying beasts. While it has some of the standard mobile 'grind' elements, the constant sense of discovery—finding new dinosaur eggs or uncovering a hidden oasis—keeps the momentum going. It's an excellent choice for players who want an adventure that feels substantial but is easy to play in short bursts.
Vast prehistoric world to explore

Resource gathering and base building
Challenging boss battles
Charming and colorful 3D art style
In the early game, focus on gathering wood and stone to build your first shelter. This provides a safe zone where you can evolve without being attacked by predators.
Collect 'DNA points' from defeated enemies or hidden caches. Use these to choose your evolution path—specializing in speed, health, or attack power.
Yes, as you progress and collect eggs, you can unlock and play as various dinosaur species with different traits.
The game is super addictive and fun, Although the ads make it less fun because your have to wait or either exit out and delete the tab and reopen it. I feel like the age recommendation is to young. I recommend it being 8+ since it isn’t that graphic but it isn’t a good game for 4 year olds. I also Dislike the amount of Money you have to use just to have good stuff. The Reason I’m rating the game 4 stars is because of the ads and money wanted. I do love the game but that’s annoying with the ads. I hope y’all love the game too, I’m going to continue playing it but please fix the ads. Thank you. UPDATE: I’ve recently found a way to remove ads. And it’s very simple and everyone can do it, the key is is to turn off your WiFi and boom! It’s that easy! I’m now rating the game 5 stars now. Though I’ve saw other reviews about maxing out at level 50. When I get to that level and it happens I’m gonna be mad. I’ve Also Realized that the Developers of the game isn’t even answering us or trying to improve the game. I deleted the game because of not enough storage but if I had storage I would most definitely keep it.
This game never gets boring. It’s so creative. I love how it has so many good things about it. I love how to dinosaur help me and I love how I get a lot of meat and I also love how these amazing fun, cool ads that pop-ups so I never get bored while watching them. My favorite part is when the dinosaurs help me, but I found this cool trick and and where you like the second nest by the T-Rex how I couldn’t defeat the T-Rex and I was by the nest and I ran back when my HP was low and I went back super quick because it’s just back-and-forth just a little bit but my favorite part is how it’s so creative and I love love love the it just so cool how the laboratory is just so creative like I said it looks so real like as if there was scientist and paleontologist there, that’s so cool to me cause I really love dinosaurs. I have a bucket of them thank you thank you creators of this. It’s an an amazing game. I really really really do love this game. I’m giving it five stars only because of how creative satisfying amazing and I never get bored.
I have only played this game for 5 days and got to level 20 in that time. Here are the facts about ads and game play. The developers are transparent about FORCED ADS. You get one every 4 minutes. You can pay to have them removed and the cheapest package is $10. I have not purchased anything in the game but have read mixed reviews about not getting items you pay for. Most of the forced ads can be skipped in 15 seconds but some of them will run for 30 seconds. On top of that there are optional ads that boost your reward gains but most of them are not worth it. This game is very heavy on farming meat for everything with a few other gems and stones to boost certain stats. There are stations that “auto-farm” these items but their resource requirements to pay out level are very sub par. There are also collector bots that come to you to help so you don’t have to return to the nest to deposit your items as often but that also has a poor investment to pay out level. Many of the games like this have a huge time investment with limited award. With all that being said if you can get past the annoying ads aspect the game itself is pretty fun and has great potential. There are lots of aspects that you can boost to strengthen your Dino and you can also build a heard of raptors to fight by your side. They can also be leveled up to give you very minor boosts in stats and have unique abilities and effects that cause minor damage. All games like this are designed to make you grind for advancement and make you watch ads so that the developers make money. That’s what games have become over the last two decades. I hope gamers find this information useful and enjoy the game for whatever limited time you choose to play it.
Just hit level 48, so I’ve put some hours in. This is one of the best apps to just chill and play. There are a few minor bugs, such as being able to navigate through objects or off the edge of the map (in one section) but these don’t negatively impact the normal mode of play; I only found them by running around the entire outside of the map and into areas that you wouldn’t normally even go to while playing. I love everything about the Dinos, upgrading in so many different ways, with several different currencies, all of which are themed to the game (amber, etc). I truly hope they continue to update the game, because it could be so much more and I actually believe it’s a 5 star app, in my opinion. Update: please increase level cap beyond 50
I’m going to start off by saying I’ve never left a review for a game. I enjoy this one enough that I just want the developers to fix the bugs or intentional design that makes it so your damage upgrades don’t work after a certain point. I’ve been adding damage consistently for about eight levels as well as upgrading my pack with stronger dinosaurs but I deal the same damage. I’ve actually dropped money on this game, if you pay to remove the ads the game is quite enjoyable but it’s pointless for me to put any more money into it if my upgrades don’t do anything. I’ve also increased my health thinking that perhaps you intended that to be some form of balance but it didn’t help, so it’s either a bug or deliberate. You fixed the invincibility glitch so either fix the damage glitch or turn invincibility back on, I’d give this game a 5/5 and happily purchase the second egg collector along with some packs If you’ll just fix the damage. Until it’s fixed, I suggest anyone trying it not to get too attached or put money into it.
Well my kids and I have been playing this game for a long time now. We've spend lots of hours and money on it! Finally they came out with chapter 2, and we were doing awesome! But while going back to chapter 1 to hatch eggs and collect meat and amber stones, we leveled up to 28. So rushed back to chapter 2 to explore the next new area that is supposed to open on 28, only to be kicked back to level 22!!! And we can go to all the places that opened on levels 23 and 26.... but can't fight the creatures there. And now it seems we will have to restart the whole game.... but NO WAY!!! Not after getting this far, starting over is heartbreaking. My kids cried, I don't know what to do. Tried to reach out to the company, but all their info is in an Asian language, and there's been ZERO help from them!! So unfair and beyond annoying, frustrating, and just wrong! Please fix and help us!!!
I love that the game doesn’t shove ads down your throat ever 10 seconds. There is a pay option which does get advertised every level up which isn’t bad. The bad bit is this game has serious glitches. I linked my account to Google to save my data. Shortly after my Dino picked up food and collect on myself, but would not put in the stash to be able to get upgrades or do everything the game needs food in order to do. It just would not work. I deleted the game and re-downloaded and logged in using my linked Google account, after trying to just find a solution for my issue, and the game started me back at level 1. I spent about $10 on it on some things I liked and spent more time on ads just to double or 4x rewards. To be told “You will launch your save data” only to be sent back to level 1 is annoying. If there’s no fix in the next week, it’s getting deleted. Player Beware.
The game itself is fun, however my phone would become hot after a few 10 minutes of gameplay and would only get hotter faster the more I played. I even tried playing on a iPad thinking maybe the better and bigger hardware would fix that, but nope I was wrong. Not to mention the excessive amount of ads in every aspect of the game. Hey, here’s a free egg just watch a 2 minutes ad which then forces another 15 secs of you trying the game from the ad, with another 5-10 seconds of you waiting to exit out of the ad after exiting out of the game tryout. It’s literally like an ad within an ad, embedded in another ad. It gets worse when they force you to watch two ads instead of one. I would have been fine if it was like a 30 sec ad like back in the day without having to exit out multiple times, but we all know that’s never happening.
