Tutorial Bug Fixed: If you find yourself stuck in the tutorial during the 'Move the Barricade' step, you can now use the skip button. Once pressed, you can proceed to dig other blocks. If you encounter any other issues with the tutorial, feel free to skip it and continue with normal levels

Digs Premium is a sophisticated fusion of tower defense and mining strategy that feels like a spiritual successor to games like 'Dungeon Keeper' but with a modern, tactical twist. The core gameplay loop—digging out paths for enemies while simultaneously harvesting resources—creates a brilliant 'risk vs. reward' dynamic. Every block you mine could yield gold for a new tower, but it also creates a new path the enemies can use to reach your core.
The 'Premium' tag is well-earned through its polished UI and the complete absence of pay-to-win mechanics. The variety of towers and enemy types is deep, requiring you to constantly adjust your maze to account for flying units or high-armor tanks. What I found most impressive was the 'Pathfinding AI'—it’s remarkably clever, forcing you to think like an architect of destruction. It’s a cerebral, high-fidelity strategy game that offers a level of depth rarely seen in the mobile TD space.

Instead of digging a straight line, dig in a long 'S' shape. This maximizes the time enemies spend under your tower range. Make sure to leave 'dead ends' near your Tesla towers to trap fast-moving scout units in a crossfire.
Gameplays
Always mine the 'Crystal Veins' before the gold. Crystals are used to upgrade your 'Mining Speed,' which is the most important stat for long-term survival. The faster you dig, the more gold you can gather between enemy waves.

Utterly broken
Tue Nov 14 2023 ErinreidVery unresponsive touch controls, can't even get through the tutorial. Tried skipping the tutorial and going to the first level, impossible to understand what is going on, and the touch controls are still incredibly buggy. The great majority of touches do not register, it seems due to the slowness of the responsiveness. do not spend five dollars on this game until the developer fixes what is going on here. EDIT: I appreciate the developer feedback, thank you for being responsive. However, that does not work. After the part of the tutorial where I move the gold, nothing else works. The rocks cannot be moved, touched, dragged, anything.
