Bug fixes
Dictator 2: Evolution is a fun, dark strategy game that makes you feel the weight of power. The core mechanic of balancing six different factions is simple but requires careful thought because a 'yes' to one group is almost always a 'no' to another. I loved the addition of the card-based military conquest; it adds a nice layer of gameplay beyond just answering questions.
It can feel a bit 'pay-to-win' at times because of the Tyrant currency, but if you're patient, you can still enjoy the political maneuvering. It's a great sequel that expands on the original in every meaningful way.
Mix of card battles and political strategy
Over 2,000 critical story decisions
6 unique factions to manage
Build and upgrade a custom army
Keep an eye on the respect levels of the Army, Oligarchs, and People. If one faction drops too low, they will start a revolution. Use your military cards to suppress dissent when necessary.
The game alternates between 'audiences' where you make policy choices and a tactical map where you use card-based combat to expand your borders.
The main addition is the tactical card-battle system and the ability to conquer other countries on a global map.
I really enjoy the game, but I do think that the cards need a little more balancing. There are multiple cards that can wipe out the entire opposing side, and that’s a bit game breaking at times.
it’s way too hard to keep all the factions happy and the game asks for money way too much. Also if u want to last a long time DONT EXPAND. The game is already hard enough to keep ur factions happy, just try keeping multiple countries happy. Another thing is most of the time ur losing more money than ur making. All in all i know it’s a strategy game and it’s not supposed to be easy but this game gets frustrating. Just on a side not for the developers. If i make a decision that upset the mafia for example (tell them they can’t steal police cars) then only the mafia should be upset about that. I don’t understand y The People and the POLICE lose points because i told the Mafia they couldn’t steal Police cars
Good luck having fun on your first or second, or third run! The only way you're going to beat the high-level countries without dumb luck is with cheese strategies which may not work if the A.I. just has better cards than you. Getting cards is absurdly costly, leveling up cards takes way too much time, and in the end it's not worth it because the game is tiny. The game is fun, or at least - it tries to be, in it's own mobile strategy game way, but after a while it's only so fun. I don't suggest this cheaply-made klunky game unless you have a desperate amount of time. Overall, 2.4/10.
The start of this game is infuriating. Some progress from previous games sticks around so the first couple plays are guaranteed losses with no hope. It gets better. Include instructions that’s not the walkthrough cause it’s easy to miss something and i would rather find it and read then running through the tutorial again.
Fun core game, but a few major problems... It asks for money at basically every step (after you pay money to buy it?? Come on) and pretty atrocious English mistranslations that often mean something different than they're supposed to. To get a lot of money you have to wait a long time, which I guess is expected in a lot of games these days, but it's just annoying.
A very frustrating game. You can’t possibly hope to last unless you either pay for in game currency to upgrade your military or spend an excruciatingly long amount of time upgrading your military. I already paid to play the game, quit trying to rip me off.
The game is great and the only thing I would change is when the bankruptcy happens you can actually use you’re own money
Please change the data type of cash. I got so much money that it went negative. I've been unable to continue my save for years because of this. Love the game though ❤️
Meet the sequel to one of the best strategic games in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, Russia, UK and many other countries.
