Diamond Duel is an adrenaline-fueled take on match-3 that turns a typically solitary experience into a high-stakes competitive duel. The brilliance lies in the shared board—every move you make could potentially set up your opponent for a massive combo, or better yet, steal the move they were clearly planning. It adds a layer of 'board control' strategy that simply doesn't exist in games like Candy Crush.
The character roster, or 'Duelists,' adds a light RPG layer that feels rewarding. Leveling up your favorite hero to unlock their unique board-altering abilities creates a clear sense of progression. The 2-minute matches are perfectly sized for mobile play, making it easy to jump in for a quick session. While the matchmaking can occasionally pair you with someone who has much higher-level heroes, the skill-based logic usually keeps things fair. It’s fast, flashy, and significantly more strategic than your average match-3.
Real-time 1v1 multiplayer
Dynamic shared-board mechanics
Unlockable heroes and powers
Fast 2-minute matches
Global Trophy Leaderboards
Since you and your opponent use the same board, your moves can set them up for a massive combo—or you can steal theirs! Look for 'Hero Gems' that, when matched, activate your character's unique power to freeze the board or shuffle the gems.
Unlock and upgrade a roster of 'Duelists,' each with their own unique board-clearing skills. Use the trophies earned from victories to level up your favorite character and reach the higher competitive tiers.
The game uses a skill-based matchmaking system to ensure you're always playing against someone with a similar rank.
I grew up in the golden age of mobile games. We had jet pack joyride, the OG angry birds games, stick figure war games, and much more. In this newer age, most games have too much going on, battle passes, pay to win and or play, heavy storage wasting, etc. I have been on the hunt for a game that’s fun, simplistic, nostalgic, and this exceeds all of my expectations. It might be a simple homerun derby game, but it’s actually super addicting and I love it! 5/5 ⭐️
The game is fun and it’s very satisfying to hit home runs. It can feel challenging especially on the faster pitches. The daily leaderboard is a cool feature too. The animation is pretty sweet and I really like all the little easter eggs you discover by hitting the ball in different places. Can’t wait to see what other hidden animation they introduce. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is due to the repetitive nature of the game. It gets kinda boring after the initial couple rounds. I’d love to see them introduce a baseball game mode. Tone down the batters power so not every solid contact is a home run. Introduce offense, defense, and scoring. Make the mechanics simple. Keep batting the same. Tap to throw a strike, curve, or ball. The rest of the game is played out by computer (base running, catching, defense). I think a mode like this could boost the appeal of this game. Especially if you introduced seasonal play, custom team building, unlocking new players, player stats and growth, and eventually online matchups. The appeal of a full tap baseball game would keep me playing daily!
Wasn’t sure at first but I quickly became hooked. Live high scores being updated while playing is nice as you can watch your name rise up the leaderboard when hitting. I wish a franchise baseball game with the graphics and of course the hitting was made from this.
i LOVE this game!! it’s a perfect way to spend time especially during trips, at the airport, in the car, etc. i can’t wait to see what else the dev does with the game especially future character customization options!!!
highly addictive. Feels like flappy bird, I love how it just focuses on me hitting it over and over again so you get better and your high score goes up. It’s hard to get my high score up but when I do it’s so satisfying
I have been playing for about a year now and I have a couple things to change like how is freakin impossible to hit 150 mph pitch and I wish that there was more to do than just hitting overall great game and highly recommend it.
Great arcade style game with retro like graphics. Live updates with other player scores globally. Very well done and a fun way to spend some time. Would be neat to be able to adjust batting right or left handed
I’ve found myself enjoying this game when I have a bit of spare time. It’s easy enough to get into, but challenging to perfect. Looking forward to more!
