- bug fixes
Def Leppard: Let's Rock It is a colorful and surprisingly addictive puzzle-adventure that will obviously appeal most to fans of the legendary rock band. It blends classic 'collapse' mechanics with a light band-management simulator. You aren't just matching blocks; you're helping a cover band climb the ranks to meet their idols. The soundtrack is, unsurprisingly, fantastic, featuring high-quality tracks that really set the mood.
The visual style is bright and poppy, with fun animations that celebrate the 80s rock aesthetic. While the core gameplay isn't groundbreaking, the integration of the Def Leppard license is handled with a lot of charm and humor. Collecting instruments and customizing your band's stage setup provides a nice meta-game beyond the puzzles. It’s a great 'coffee break' game that offers a satisfying mix of music nostalgia and casual puzzling. Pour some sugar on your spare time and give this one a spin.

Addictive block-clearing puzzle mechanics
Deep band and stage customization
Engaging storyline following your rise to fame
Try to clear larger groups of blocks (5 or more) to create 'Golden Records.' These acts as power-ups that clear entire rows or columns, which is essential for reaching the high score targets in the arena levels.
Use your puzzle rewards to upgrade your band's 'Hype' levels. A higher hype level increases the amount of gold you earn per match, allowing you to unlock premium outfits and stage gear much faster.
While fans will get the most out of the references, the core puzzle mechanics are solid and fun for any casual gamer.
I have been a fan since there second album way back in 1981! I have seen them many times and look forward to seeing them soon. Incredible to have a game with their music, their likeness and with a good storyline to boot! Maybe some songs like Switch 625? Still miss steamin Steve. THANKS!
Great game play that’s easy to grasp the concepts. Fun theme and I love Def Leppard. One level was absolutely impossible, to the point I had to spend some real money to get enough bonuses to pass it. I don’t mind spending a little here and there on a free game, usually when there are sales, but after being stuck on the level for about a week it was like I had no other choice than to spend money. I would have considered just walking away but… Def Leppard lol. I still gave it four stars because so far, even though there have been some hard levels, I haven’t experienced anything like that again. So hoping it was just one poorly designed level. My only other complaint have been with a few glitches (tokens not dropping down to fill boxes so there are just random spaces on the board, instrument bonuses like the missile being placed on the board where it is automatically lined up for a three of a kind so it just instantly goes away without shooting a single missile, etc…) but it’s a new game so I figure those might still get worked out.
There’s a reason Bejeweled never leaves the simple rectangle board design. This is a simple match 3 puzzle game with a cringy by the numbers story of a person struggling to start a generic rock band. The first 20 levels or so are passable, but then they stopped caring and made every subsequent level completely unbeatable without, you guessed it, microtransactions, the ultimate mobile gaming sin. To add insult to injury, you are given a limited number of tries to even attempt a level before it locks you out for arbitrary wait times. Having extremely limited moves in a puzzle game based purely on luck is bad game design, and no amount of encouragement from Joe Elliott will fix it. And more bad news for Def Leppard fans expecting Def Leppard songs in a Def Leppard game: the soundtrack is completely devoid of any songs by the actual band, which utterly befuddles me. In summary, this is a standard scam aimed at the wallets of kid’s parents with Def Leppard branding on it. Disappointing to say the least.
I’m level 146 and the next stage seems impossible to beat because the bills aren’t spawning fast enough to get rid of before the turns run out (and that’s with bonus turns). Truthfully, I’m a bit bored with games like this but the storyline is keeping me engaged. If I can never get past this stage though, there’s no point continuing. I’m not looking for a freebie here. The spawn rate just seems like it’s not set right.
I’ve been really enjoying the game but for the past two days my fuel doesn’t regenerate when I’m not using the app, other than that I love how you can change the appearance of the characters and how the game has a story line with it. I really enjoy playing this game but I don’t like opening up the game to play and see that I still have no fuel after hours.
New game, kinks to be worked out to be sure, but the script…it needs work. Typos, weird phrasing, the main character comes out with bizarre non-sequiturs. Also as another reviewer said, I’m not even sure I like the main character. Other than that, it’s a standard match 3. I would like more Lep music and interactions, but I am cracking up every time Joe says “banger!”
I’m really enjoying this game but would recommend a couple of fixes. First, when the boosters are combined and used with other boosters they don’t carry any extra punch. They do the exact same thing as if they were being used by themselves. Next, the story seems to just stop abruptly once you get in the 300 levels. Great game otherwise, very engaging.
This game has potential, however, it includes no official Def Leppard songs that we all know and love. It’s kind of misleading as well as disappointing. We as fans play games such as this to hear the music of the band the game is tied to. You won’t find that here. Huge mistake by developer for whatever reason. Can’t bring myself to play it again. No other reason to.
