New update available for Decor Match!
- Optimized overall performance for smoother gameplay
Have fun playing!
Decor Match is a highly polished hybrid of match-3 puzzles and home design simulation. It follows the successful formula of 'Play to Decorate,' where clearing colorful puzzle levels earns you the resources to renovate a wide variety of rooms, from cozy bedrooms to modern kitchens. What I found particularly impressive was the level of choice; you aren't just picking one of three predefined sofas, but often choosing colors and styles for every object from the floor to the ceiling.
The puzzles themselves are well-designed with a fair difficulty curve, though later levels definitely introduce a significant challenge with obstacles like ice statues and toasters. The inclusion of daily challenges and social sharing features—like taking a photo of your finished room to show off on Instagram—adds a nice layer of community interaction. It’s a great game for creative minds who enjoy the tactical satisfaction of a good match-3 combo paired with the long-term goal of building a dream home.
Personalized furniture and style choices
Hundreds of addictive match-3 levels
Interior and exterior home decoration
Daily challenges for extra rewards
Social sharing for design inspiration
Match 4 or more pieces to create explosive boosters. Combining two boosters (like a rocket and a bomb) is the best way to clear the board in difficult 'Extreme' levels.
After finishing a room renovation, use the in-game camera to save your design. You can look back at your gallery or share your 'before and after' shots with the community.
Yes, Decor Match is free to play, though some in-game items like extra moves or boosters can be purchased for real money.
They really did a great job on this game. I am at level 900 and it has not gotten to the point that you cannot win a level without spending money. They give you lots of free coins and booster items. You continue to win coins even if you do not beet a level so you are Truly stuck, you can use free coins to get past that level. There are lots of free lives that you can save until you have the time to sit and play. You do not always have to collect the boosters that are timed until you want them. I have spent a small amount of money when I was in couch potato mode and just really wanted to keep playing for hours. Some of the levels are difficult enough that you have to play them a few times for figure out the strategy for winning, combined with enough tries to get the best booster matches. The design part is cute and the amount required to spend on each design is fair. Thanks
I loved this game and played a lot. I’m not sure what level I was on, but I got to a point and I had to start making purchases in order to move on. I did make one small purchase thinking this would last me a while. Oh no after a few moves and it wanted more. Instead of paying more I deleted the game. I keep getting their ad when playing and think that looks like a cool game. I have a nerve pain condition that affects my short term memory, so I don’t remember this game initially. That is until I decide to download then it wants my Apple ID and to move on it wants a payment. It doesn’t show how much they want. That doesn’t at all sound like a legitimate game. I can tell you had my parents run there businesses like this, I wouldn’t have lived as comfortable as I did growing up, nor would I have received a new car for graduation from my parents as they would have been forced to closed their businesses, of course there would have been a few gullible people like me that would have paid at least one payment maybe two. If I would have known in the beginning that this game would end up basically being a subscription I would have been prepared. Maybe have one less Starbucks or maybe I would have unsubscribed from one of my streaming subscriptions or maybe I would have chosen to not to play this game. I’m disappointed, but when I pulled the page up to download it, it showed 5 or 6 Zen games. All of them have the symbol on them that I downloaded them before. Honestly Zen games are not my zen place in life. Have fun while you can because there will be a day when you’ll have to pay.
The only complaint I have about this game is the boat and hot air balloon races. It’s not fair that I have to compete against other players that are at much lower levels than I am, which means they’re levels are easier to beat, and quicker to beat. This means they reach the goal faster, and usually get 1st place. I just finished a boat race where the player who beat me was level 1538 and I am level 2116. They were getting hundreds of coins for each level and I was only getting 20 - 50 each time I beat a level. This player’s score was at 589, and the next time they moved up, they were at 809. Not quite fair, whatever was happening. Whenever we compete in the boat or balloon races, we should compete with players who are around the same level as the rest of the other players. Not fair that I have to compete against players who have much easier levels because they’re at lower levels than I am. That gives them an advantage to reach the goal a lot faster. Please make this a little more fair to players who have played the game way longer than the players we compete against.
This is basically Royal Match with a different theme. The major difference is that instead of building up rooms in the palace, you have black-and-white images that you get to color. It seems (at least for now) to be a bit easier to earn coins and bonuses. I was able to build up a lot of them early on so when the levels got harder, I had enough to not end my game after 5 minutes. The part the developers need to work on is that this game lacks the “maturity” of Royal Match. For example, when you start a new board, if the pieces are laid out in a way to produce a good bonus, you can be guaranteed that the added bonuses (such as any you chose at the start of the level or the ones earned from beating the last level) will be placed to mess that up. Bonuses will also destroy other bonuses on the board when randomly placed, so strategy is easily messed up. Perhaps as the levels get harder, this will improve, but if not, strategy is now longer a factor and your ability to win a level will be shear dumb luck.
I’m on a level over 500, so that means I’ve played over 500 game boards that is required to gain credits to decorate, but only when I win. So, I have a lot of experience with this app, and yes, I have a life outside of this app. First, it takes a lot of “wins” to have enough credits to decorate each carved-out room. I have noticed significant inconsistencies in how the targeted items are blown off the board. It’s happened a lot and I ignored it because I wanted to decorate. I’m telling you it is RIGGED! Example: Many times you have a bomb next to the last item and it doesn’t touch it but it blows everything else up. Well too bad, and now you’re out of “moves” so you have to start the same game board again without your extra weapons (if you used them), or sacrifice 900 coins to gain 5 moves. If you can’t clear the board again then it’ll cost you 1900 coins to avoid clearing it and starting over. If you don’t have enough coins then you have to buy a package and it’s not cheap. Let me quantify the coin for those of you who have never played this rigged game. First of all, they are very stingy awarding coins when you win the board, and stingy with credits to decorate the entire room. When you’re running low on “moves” is when I notice the issues the most. Using the above example, if you have to use your extra weapons to try to clear the board and it doesn’t blow up the target like it should, then you’ve lost your very minimal extra weapons, and now you face sacrificing coins for 5 more moves, and so on…I’m cool losing a board, but I want them to remove the cheating command so it’s consistent and fair. So I guess their business plan is to take advantage of us instead of having long-term loyal customer support. FYI…I’m going to find other platforms to post a shorter version. Really ticked me off!
I have played a LOT of mobile games ever since I was a kid (mid-20s now) and all of them have some kind of fault, too many ads, too many microtransactions or predatory motives, etc. But this game has no ads and you don't have to purchase anything to progress. Some levels may take a couple tries to get past but for the most part, it's not too difficult like some matching games and they're very generous with rewards. I love the decorating aspect as well and I love how we can see all the rooms we've decorated in the past too. Sometimes I wish there were more options for colors or patterns of furniture items or maybe a custom color option that can be bought for a few extra stars or coins would be a good idea. Overall it's a really fun game to pass the time and feels accomplishing to decorate all the rooms and participate in races for rewards.
I usually don’t stick with games like these for too long. But I love this one! The levels are fun. You have your usual buildup of obstacles to get around as you progress; but the visuals and animations are really fun. I love the music that this app has. It makes it very relaxing to play the game. And decorating the rooms is so much fun! I also like how there are many different ways to earn game rewards such as unlimited lives for an hour. My only suggestion to the game devs: may we please have the option to use our rewards when we want? I sometimes play this on break at work, and any rewards I earn are put into effect immediately which is hard when I can’t continue to play while they are active. Being able to choose when we use them would help a lot. But it’s not a big deal either. Thank you for a great game!
This is NOT like one of those match games where u reach to an extremely high level and now the game try’s to push u into spending money and purposely gives u a level so hard it stresses u out. (I have 30,000 coin and have spent NONE. I’ve purposely used boosters about 3 times). The longest it took for me to beat a level on here was about 5 attempts (and I’m on level 208). And if you are familiar with match games, that’s not ALOT. It’s also like 1 out of 10 do you get a level a little difficult. Anyway, adding a creativity aspect for the decor design is genius in my opinion. My only qualm would be : can you add more decorative options? Like as the levels progress….So far there’s only 4 design options for every piece of furniture. Over time this can feel limiting and restrictive. Other than that the game is actually fun but still challenging enough to keep u hooked. I play this almost every day. Also I have come across “save the cat” maybe twice ? 😂 they should add it in maybe every 20 levels at least. Also word of advice, when u run out of hearts just join a race and usually there will be some gifts to claim that u have forgotten about. I also like to rly zone out and play so within an hour I’ll have like 40 gem stars and am able to decorate like 3 rooms in row. Which is fun.
