Our Expert Score

78/100

Cornhole League brings the quintessential American backyard game to the mobile screen with surprisingly satisfying physics. The swipe-to-toss mechanic feels weighted and responsive, making it genuinely challenging to nail those perfect 'holers' consistently. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to pick up for a five-minute break but has enough depth in its tournament structure to keep you coming back.

The customization options for boards and bags are a nice touch, allowing for some personal flair during 1v1 online matches. While the ad frequency can be high in the free version, the gameplay itself is polished. It captures that competitive 'just one more throw' feeling that makes sports sims successful on mobile.

Love this game!

When I first started playing it was just for fun, to pass some time occasionally. But I found myself playing more & more & then I discovered the ranking section & realized I could actually move up in it. A bit later I realized I was in the 30’s, then 20’s, then teens. Once I was in single digits I got really excited & serious about playing. Next thing I know, I’m #2 in the world, so exciting! I played & played & played but didn’t budge, FINALLY I hit #1 worldwide ranking & have been there for 4-5 months now, I’ve never been that good at a game, EVER! Sadly though, the past couple f weeks the game won’t load on my phone for some reason, I’m sad. Hoping the glitch will be fixed soon so I can resume playing my favorite game & retain my #1 worldwide status. I go by The Jugernaut. 🙌🏼

One-Dimensional, room for improvement

I loved the game as I progressed through, but after unlocking everything, I didn’t find a lot of motivation to play. I wish I could play with friends. There is a ton of potential for improvement: *tournaments can be several matches; the single match is no different than any other match *PvP, I’m sure this is more difficult than people realize, but it would be worth it *make skins/boards/bags/effect have special traits (i.e. ice bags slide easily, “kapow” effect can push opponent’s bag away, make the desert board sticky, etc) kind of like fruit ninja *achievements come too quick. *different play modes (play to 21, alternate who starts, partner/team play, etc) *$7/week is a quite steep for a one-dimensional game. $60 in two months is what you would pay for a AAA game. Pros: The art design is great! Mechanics/physics are spot on and simple enough to play for a few minutes and then put down. Fun unlockables. Cons: No PvP - it’s all simple computer AI and offers no depth other than skin changes.

The game

It’s a fun game to play. I think it should say level instead of rank because they mean something different. A rank is when big numbers turn into small numbers and levels are small to big numbers. If we could get that changed that would be great! Another cool suggestion would be if there were standings in the league in your area. Another thing that would be cool is if you could play against your friends. This would be a lot of fun. Also there should be a legit tournament just not one game. The tournament’s should start with 16 teams competing with players in your region. If you win your regional tournament then go to nationals and then worlds. There should be a season mode. Each person should have an option to play 5-20 games per season. After the season mode their should be the playoffs and after each season it should get harder.

The best game ever

Cornhole is more than just a backyard game—it’s a tradition, a source of fun, and a way to bring people together. Whether you’re at a summer barbecue, a family reunion, a tailgate party, or just hanging out with friends, cornhole always finds a way to make the moment better. Its simple rules and easy setup make it one of the most enjoyable and accessible games out there, and that’s what makes it so good. At its core, cornhole is a game of tossing bean bags at a raised board with a hole in it. Each team tries to land the bag either on the board for one point or in the hole for three. The first team to reach 21 points wins. The rules are easy to understand, so even first-timers can join in and have fun right away. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how athletic you are—anyone can play and anyone can win. That’s part of what makes cornhole so great: it’s fair, friendly, and fun. Another reason cornhole is such a good game is that it brings people together. It encourages friendly competition, laughter, and conversations. You don’t need fancy equipment or a big field. All you need are two boards, eight bean bags, and a little space. It can be played on grass, sand, pavement—almost anywhere. It’s perfect for outdoor gatherings, but people even bring it indoors when the weather’s bad. Cornhole is also relaxing. There’s no rush or pressure, and it doesn’t take a lot of energy. That makes it the perfect game to play while chatting or enjoying music. At the same time, if you’re competitive, cornhole has plenty of skill involved. You can improve your aim, your strategy, and your ability to block your opponent’s shots. Some people even take it seriously and join cornhole leagues or tournaments. In conclusion, cornhole is a simple game that offers big fun. It’s easy to play, fun for all ages, and brings people together in a way few games can. Whether you’re tossing bean bags for fun or trying to win a close match, cornhole is always a good time. That’s what makes it such a great game, and why so many people love it.

Unplayable Due to Nonstop Ads
Sun Mar 01 2026 RealGSavage

This game could have been enjoyable, but it is completely unplayable because of the excessive ads. Every action triggers another interruption. Before a match, after a match, sometimes even during transitions, there is another ad. It feels less like a cornhole game and more like an ad viewing simulator with occasional gameplay squeezed in between. The frequency and length of the ads destroy any sense of flow or competition. Just when you start getting into a rhythm, you are forced to sit through another commercial. It kills the momentum and makes it frustrating to even attempt to play more than a few minutes. A casual sports game should be relaxing and smooth, not a constant battle against pop ups and forced videos. Monetization is understandable. Developers need revenue. But this approach crosses the line from reasonable to excessive. There are better ways to fund a game, such as optional ad rewards, cosmetic purchases, or a reasonably priced ad free upgrade. Forcing players to endure nonstop interruptions makes the game feel cheap and disrespectful of users’ time. As it stands, the gameplay experience is overshadowed by aggressive advertising to the point that it is simply not worth playing. Until the ad frequency is dramatically reduced or an affordable ad free option is offered, this game is not enjoyable and cannot be recommended.

It seems like once I’ve attained all the region and international tournament cups, the game does not expand from there. It just replays and I can’t seem to get a higher ranking and move up the ladder anymore. It keeps repeating my ranking (from #24 to #12) and I can’t seem no longer make any progress in the game. I’ve gotten all the designs and characters but now a stagnant in the game. I came to check if it would allow me to upgrade the game to continue to advance but that’s also not an option. I don’t want to continue playing the game if I can no longer advance or play in more tournaments. It doesn’t even expand tournaments to more countries so you’re playing the same tournaments you’ve already won. Can someone assist because I really the game?

4 stars, but needs 1 adjustment in order to be a 5

Hello, I’ve played this game for almost 2 months now consistently/off and on for over a year and just wanted to review a few things. ——First it would be nice to see multiplayer pvp introduced. If this happened it would explode on the App Store and generate a possible mass amount of spending real currency! ——Second it would be good to see other various options for customizing your avatar such as faces and such to make them stand out more! ——A daily quest option/live events that offer clothing/bags/boards as prizes! ——An airmail challenge or other type of challenge or hit a section on the board challenge to offer players extra prize options ——A player ranking leaderboard ——Holiday events ————Most importantly PVP!———— If these ideas were implemented into the game this game would be a top choice on the App Store guaranteed!! Cornhole is an extremely fast growing sport not just in the US but also the world, so if these above ideas were made a reality, the game would in fact become very popular!!

Could Be a Fun Game But Sooooooo Many Ads
Thu Mar 16 2023 1CatzMeow

This COULD be a fun game but is is truly difficult to play more than a round or two. There are sooooooo many ads! Want to play, watch an ad, during play, 1-3 billboard ads and voice ads. Finish the round, get an ad. Want to play in league, ad before, ad after, want the prize you won during that round, gotta watch an ad and once you get the prize you won, guess what, another ad, right before you have to watch another ad to start another round. Wow! Ads turned a fun game into one I seldom have the energy to play. Get rid of some of the ads and I will increase my review, until then, I guess I could give it a 2 star rating.
