Hey Colorwood Blocks pals!
We’ve been burning the midnight oil, fueled by coffee and determination, to fix bugs and add shiny new features. Update now and see what we’ve cooked up! Your feedback is the secret ingredient, so keep it coming!
Happy puzzling!
Colorwood Blocks is one of those rare puzzle games that manages to be deeply relaxing while still providing a genuine mental workout. At its core, it’s a wood-themed block fitting game, but the 'Color' twist adds a layer of strategy that standard wood block puzzles lack. You aren't just fitting shapes into a grid; you're coordinating color matches to trigger massive board clears. The tactile feel of the wooden blocks hitting the board is incredibly satisfying, supported by top-tier haptic feedback and gentle, acoustic sound design.
As you progress into higher levels, the game introduces 'obstacles' like locked blocks and frozen tiles that require multiple clears to remove. This prevents the gameplay from becoming repetitive. I spent several hours on the 'Master' tier levels, and while they are challenging, the game never feels unfair. It’s a perfect 'wind-down' game for the end of a long day, offering a zen-like experience without being boring. If you enjoyed games like Woodoku but wanted a bit more visual flair and strategic depth, this is a must-download.
Satisfying tactile 'Wood-on-Wood' sound effects
Dynamic color-matching mechanics
No time limits—play at your own pace
Daily puzzles with unique collectible trophies
To maximize your score, don't just clear any line. Try to build lines using blocks of the same color. A 'Mono-Color Clear' grants double the points of a standard clear and often rewards you with a power-up like the 'Hammer' or 'Shuffle'.
Place blocks on the board to create lines. Once a line is filled, it disappears. The game ends when there is no more room for incoming blocks, so always keep a 3x3 space open for the dreaded large square piece!
Yes, Colorwood Blocks is fully playable without an internet connection.
Definitely not a bad game higher levels it gets more glitchy or freezes. Other then that every level is different after each you receive an add that’s the only downside less adds a fix the freezes this game is super addicting! Better then spending my time scrolling or watching videos
This is one of the best games of this sort I’ve played—I’m about 1200 levels in, and haven’t run into a level that had the goal set unreasonably high, which is a problem I’ve had a lot with block placement games like this, and I really love that it’s JUST about placing the blocks, with no mini games or powerups—but god, the ads just make the experience kind of miserable most of the time. There’s an ad after every level and pop-up ads at the top of the gameplay screen that occasionally cover part of the play area—with only the option to wait it out, no way to exit out of them—and on average, I have to restart the app about every other level when the pop-up ads change and freeze the app. (Sometimes it’s every level. Sometimes I get lucky and can get through five or six levels, but that’s pretty rare. It’s bad.) If I could pay to remove the ads, I would, because I do really enjoy this game! Best in class, please let me buy the option to remove ads, I’m begging you.
I did like the game, but once I hit around level 600, the game started slowing down and glitching. It’s just getting worse and worse. I’m not sure if it’s because Copper doesn’t want to pay out for winning by the allotted time, or if it’s the game itself. But now in every game, at least a few times, I try to move a piece, it gets frozen up, and lands in a different place. Usually this causes me to get messed up and I have to watch additional ads. And at times the game just completely freezes too, so each game takes forever. This, of course assure that you cannot hit goals in the allotted time to win cash. Convenient.
If it can’t get any clearer, this (by the way pretty cool game) is definitely a nice paycheck for the developers from the advertising industry. Just playing this game has me scratching my head at “how watching ads” is forced on to the players. Any incentive to watch them, if you are going that route, trust me are Pennie’s compared to what they make. There must be a way to stop developers from abusing the # of advertisements they are putting on a player. Game may be fun but not worth the amount of time you spend watching them, and doing it basically for free! making note of the lifetime of the game that involves advertisements in the description would be nice. I’d have to say at least 3hours for this game.
I love this game. It’s addicting and so much fun. Simple but soothing for the anxieties. The problem is there’s a ad bar above the game that glitches all the time and freeze my phone up. It also makes random noises. The other issue is after every single level there’s a 30 second ad. I play these games while I listen to audiobooks. So every 2 minutes my audiobook is being paused and I have to wait for an ad to finish. I understand having ads, but this is a bit much and makes me not play this game as often as others.
I love the game but theConstant ads current top of the game 50% of the time makes you lose interest in playing it instead of having a challenge withThe game you’re constantly trying to move a piece deer in ads can’t you find another place to place the ads instead of on top of the game you can’t see the game when I Add is covering it. I have had pieces misplaced because of an ad covering my move. That’s why I’m only given it four stars
This game is entertaining. HOWEVER, it will purposefully give you levels that are impossible to beat so that you lose your streak. Physically and mathematically impossible level. I emailed customer support and they were trying to convince me that every level is solvable. I still have the picture of the level. This happened to me a total of 3 times now, and I took a screenshot of the last 2 times it happened. Their customer support has no idea what this game is about. I wish I can post the picture here to show everyone.
The game is alright but there’s an ad every five seconds, they pop up during the game covering over half the screen and after every level also the game will freeze while your moving a block so you can’t engage in gameplay for a min or two and then it’ll happen again. It also will glitch so that half the board isn’t available to play or add anything to it so you’ll have room to place a block and it won’t let you. Fix the bugs and i’d say it’s a great game.
