Minor improvements for a smoother experience
Guessly is exactly what you want from a party game: it’s fast, it’s funny, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. The variety of categories is the real winner here. You can jump from '90s Pop Culture' to 'Extreme Sports' in a second, which keeps the energy high when you’re playing with a group. The UI is bright and easy to read even from across a room, which is crucial for a charades-style game where the phone is often being waved around.
One minor gripe is that some of the decks feel a bit repetitive after a few rounds, but the 'Custom Deck' feature solves this beautifully. It’s a great 'icebreaker' app to have on your phone for holidays or social gatherings. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it polishes it until it shines.
Dozens of fun categories
Custom deck creator
Video recording of games
Local multiplayer fun
Fast-paced 60-second rounds
Select a category, hold the phone to your forehead, and tilt down if you guess correctly or tilt up to pass. You have 60 seconds to get as many as you can!
Mix up your game nights by trying specialized decks like 'Superheroes', 'Animals', or 'Foodie' to challenge different types of knowledge.
Yes, it works perfectly for pairs or large groups!
This is a great game and it's so fun to play with my family. I think it is the best game because it's really really fun. So that's why I would give this game a 5 rating because it's really really fun. Thanks for making this game because I love playing it anyway I am 9 years old and my birthday is today. So anyway I want to say thank you for this game and bye.
Everything that you could get cost money there was only one deck that you could get otherwise you have to pay weekly or monthly just for a game that you downloaded. I thought it would not be like the heads up game where you don’t have to pay money, but it seems like it’s just another scam and the first page where you actually have to see which plan that you want to skip button is very, not visible in a bunch of people could pass by it. Luckily, I was able to see it. It took the bottom of the screen. I feel like this is just a money making business. I don’t feel like that actually enjoy the captivity of others and not even have like ads or challenges for people that actually unlocked the deck. You always have to pay money for them and I feel like that’s a waste of time. The game is pretty cool. You can make your own deck you’re gonna adjust time to put the chip deck that all just cost money.
Now I understand the game is pretty good and all but the people with no subscription only get one theme which is Mix and it could get boring sometimes with only one theme. The game is fun I played with my family and friends and I liked it! But again only one theme and there are many more theme to have fun with. But no, this game doesn’t let you have more fun with different themes and you only get to do Mix. In my opinion there should be more themes or at least ones where we have to watch ads for, watching ads for more fun is better than wasting money on a game u might/barely play. I think there would be more votes that are more than one star than one star if there were more themes. I think that’s the problem why you are getting ones, hopefully you see this and improve with more themes for non subscription ppl bc every theme needs a subscription and wouldn’t be fun, you know?
If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. The free version is extremely limited, practically forcing you to test the premium features. I made the mistake of trying premium once—and that’s where the scam begins. Unless you cancel immediately, they’ll charge you $9.99 PER WEEK. That’s nearly $40 a month for an app that isn’t even worth using after the first try! I ended up being charged $50 despite not touching the app again after my initial test at an amusement park. I even requested a refund through Apple (since the app itself doesn’t handle refunds), and it was denied. I’ve requested refunds before from other apps when I forgot to cancel, and they were always fair enough to reimburse me. But not this one. That’s exactly why I’m writing this review—because I never write reviews, but people need to be warned. This isn’t right, and others deserve to know before they get stuck like I did. This is not a fair subscription model—it feels like a trap. If you’re considering this app, save yourself the headache and your money. There are plenty of alternatives out there that won’t sneakily drain your wallet.
I want games for free with no ads that I don’t have to pay for these developers make tons of money. They should just give out games for free without ads without stealing our data and that way I maybe I would pay one cent, but that’s about it they don’t make pennies anymore I can’t find pennies where did they all go? I think aliens took them and now they’ve gone to Outer space. I guess aliens from other worlds need our copper they could have just mined for it or gotten copper from air-conditioning units so I’m not sure why all the pennies have disappeared but if I had a penny, I would pay that for this game, but not a cent more. Let’s see what it is this long rambling can you speak?
So I really like this game but you need to buy The pack so you get the three day trial but after that trial you have to get the pack to play and when you are waiting in a long line you want to play a game and you click on this you open it and your trial is over and everything is locked you need to get the TRIAL UGH and it’s annoying cause everything is locked I just don’t like it so 4 stars
Please read the reviews. This game is absolutely terrible. I tried to cancel the subscription. It looked like everything went through on my end, but for some reason, it still charged me. I went to cancel it again and request a refund and they would not refund me the app glitched the entire time I used it. I only managed to actually successfully play one round and honestly, it wasn’t even good. They have no support to help with us at all. This is a scam. Don’t download or you will lose money.
I downloaded this app just to try the game and quickly realized it wasn’t what I expected so I deleted it. I had no idea that deleting the app did not cancel the subscription. I was then charged $9.99 per week before realizing what happened. I canceled immediately but Apple says the charge is not eligible for a refund. This pricing structure feels misleading and unfair. Be very careful, this app makes it far too easy to be charged without clear warning.
