- Bug Fixes and Improvements
Catch and Feed is the ultimate 'five-minute' game. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than a simple, high-reflex arcade experience, and it's better for it. The charm lies in the character designs—watching a goofy monster frantically open its mouth for falling sushi or donuts is adorable and consistently brings a smile to my face.
The difficulty ramps up nicely by introducing 'trash' items that you have to avoid. It becomes a frantic balancing act of sliding your finger to catch the good food while dodging the fish bones or cans. It’s perfect for kids due to its bright colors and simple input, but there's a certain 'zen' quality to the rhythm of the falling items that makes it a great palette cleanser for adults as well.
Simple one-touch controls
Dozens of unlockable characters
Global high-score leaderboard
Bright, colorful child-friendly art
Items fall at different speeds. The purple 'spiked' items fall the fastest—always prioritize moving away from them, even if it means missing a piece of food. Staying alive is more important than a small score boost.
Every 500 points earned cumulatively across games unlocks a new character. Each character has a different 'mouth size,' which slightly changes the difficulty of catching items.
Yes — the mechanics are simple and family-friendly.
I really like playing the game it’s just something fun to do when I have a few seconds. But I can’t close the shop menu because the banner ad is covering the X button, and just moving from feeding the animals I send one piece out and I wait 40ish seconds because the ad has to close to open it’s demo and you close the demo the get to black download screen and after you close that you can finally return to the game. Only for it to happen again after less than a minute later. I’m talking about I got back, with a pouch of food that can hold five, I already fed one before the ad, feed it three more and the process repeats. I want to enjoy the game but $6 for ad free is something no one in their right mind would pay for a mobile game.
You do 3 thing in the game Fish, cook fish, feed to animals for money. 2 out of 3 of those will start a ad. You fish you cook the first fish hit with ad. Finishing cooking all fish return to boat hit with an ad. Feed the fish animals then get hit with pop up ad. There are time where the banner ads will block the X to go back and have to click the ad to continue. Unity used to be a great company and when I would see their name I knew it was gonna be good because they care, I guess that’s in the past. Do not play this game or anything from Unity we can’t support these money hungry companies. Other than that it’s a pretty fun game if there was banner and only 1 ad when finishing all 3 activities, I would definitely play it. That’s not the case though. So I will not support games like this! Everyone uninstall asap.
I paid to remove adds completely from my game but there’s still a constant banner with adds on the screen… ok fine. The game is a copy of a different popular steam game. The game play is fine but I found one fish that I could not fully scale due to its placement on my screen (playing on an iPhone) which is pretty annoying. And anytime you close and reopen the game OR switch islands your on I loose some of my upgrades. Overall there’s a lot to be worked on.
I am usually more than happy to spend $5 here and there in an app to be able to get certain things so paying such to get no ads and a lil cash was perfectly fine. Yet when I clicked to buy I immediately had an ad forced through? And that somehow screwed up the payment and they took my money but it never processed in app that I bought it. So I kept getting ads. Okay. I go to restore purchase, I type in my password. Moment I press enter another ad is forced through interrupting the process. This game takes your money. The developers are thieves. Do NOT waste your time on this game. It’s ad after ad after ad and when you go to buy no ads that doesn’t matter they are gonna take your money and not give you what you bought.
The game is fun but there are a lot of ads, which is fine but it’s an add roughly every 3 minutes. The bigger issue is I’ve found multiple fish which I can’t fully descale, they’re to large and go off screen or they’re placed so close to the edge of the screen it’s impossible. There’s also no way to continue. If you won’t resize the fish when scaling or a way to move the fish to be fully descaled then the developers need to at least add an option to skip the process with however far you’ve gotten.
It’s been a while since since I’ve played a fun little fishing game.. the main problem are the adds.. you get one every 30seconds- 1min Which can be very annoying and making you not want to play the game after you reached your 10th-20th add in only 10mins of playing I do also find the ad banner in a very unconvent place as it blocks the “X” button and half the time I can’t read what it says under it
I would really enjoy this game but there the problem with the banner. It changes sizes and any time I enter the shop to upgrade hook or rod ect the banner enlarges to cover the x so I can’t leave the shop without clicking on the banner or x’ing out of the game completely then everytime I click on anything it automatically plays an ad. It’s a miserable experience and game itself looks absolutely nothing like the ads I like the pixel looking version. Anyway I’d change my rating if and only if it becomes playable right now as it stands it’s got zero playability.
I love this game, however there seems to be some kind of bug with upgrading my pole/hook. I’ve noticed for a couple days now that I will purchase an upgrade and the next day I play it the upgrade disappears and it downgrades back to upgrades I had in the past. I’m not sure if this is a technical error or part of the game purposely
